Everyone is different. I think they worked out fine and helped with the balance of the game. I'm just saying my view of receiving one and how it makes me less interested in a game when I don't get an ability.

I think I am just a natural baddie. Being a civvie is too stressful to me and no one believes me. When I am bad I get suspected much less

This is as basic as mafia can get, though the rotating roles were an extra flavor SVS had suggested.

Normally, 7 civilians would be ideal, because you then at least get a Day 3 (assuming you don't lynch 2 baddies before that) With this setup, it is almost an equal chance of victory for either side.

With how rapid the game progressed, reading players is difficult. Often you have to resort to gut, because you're too busy reading posts and responding to do any effective scumhunting. But again, finding a good strategy to find baddies like this would work too. These are my thoughts anyway.

It happens. If we had lucked into finding a mafia day 1 it all would have been different. We should have stuck to the lynching Boogs scheme

Also I think i would prefer to have had the linkitis feature. It took me longer to scroll back up and figure out where I had left off then it would have to reviewed what was posted quick.

Oh, I was absolutely terrible. It wasn't until after I had died that I realized about Roxy.

I think these sort of lightning games are REALLY hard for the civs, since there is so little to go on.

I think not having any abilities at first hindered us too. Not that that is MM's fault. Just something to keep in mind for the next one.

I hate being a vanilla civvie

And that whole first night we had no block/protect/check anything so really nothing to help us but our bad lynches.

Alright me too. He did the same thing to me the first day where he latched on MP towards the end. While he says that it isn't really correct 20 minutes left = 24 hours left that is essentially what we are working with

Less than a half hour in is not "nearly the end of the lynch."

Less than half an hour is more than half. So if someone just decided to start posting well into Day 2 of a lynch that'd be ok by you?

I was not intending to "hoard" anything. There's not a lot of time in this game, and I can't immediately post everything I am thinking. I don't think it is very convenient at all, actually.

Additionally, there are good reasons not to let people know you are onto them too early.

Personally, I get madder when I am bad. That's just my experience, but I think SVS and me are a lot alike.

I don't remember when Rob first said he suspected her, but I certainly did not jump on it. I suspected her a long time before I posted about it.

Ok so why do you keep conveniently waiting until someone brings up a suspicion before posting about it? That is not very civvie like behavior. The civvies need to work together in the thread. Not hoard their suspicions til the last moment

I'm not SURE anyone other than myself is good. But I have spent half this game frustrated for people being wrong about me and not listening to me. This seems exactly the same to me. SVS is sounding reasonable. You are not.

I think juliets or Epig are worth looking at. Epig seems a lot quieter and less opinionated then I am used to. I don't really have much a reason for juliets other than I think some of the baddies were hiding and letting me and MP go at it. I don't really recall her commenting on that either way.

Well so I was wrong about MP being bad, but I still stand by that I am not wrong about what I believe based on my experience.
