Re: [ENDGAME] Bullets Over Broadway Mafia

The first game I ever won was as a baddie (Sesame Street on STV) but I think it was my third time. The second time I was a baddie it was LC's Sandman game on RM, and I was fairly new to polls so I voted without posting not realising it was not good form. I got lynched Day 1.
like I said I made a lot of mistakes early on :p

I also want to say that there was a third prize STILL available from trivia and it would have really changed the game. It was the mystery prize, and I'm shocked no one took it. It was basically, a "what do you want for a prize? propose something and i'll consider it" prize. That could have utterly changed the game.
All I needed was the damn role check. And I got killed anyway. Thanks for nothing fingersplints. :meany:

Thanks for the game Dom. It turns out I have had no internet access on my camping trip. (I'm actually at an Internet cafe atm so don't have time yet to read all that went down)

I loved my role (it was especially fun to repeatedly silence the people who I knew it would irritate the most :) ) and I loved my team

It seems he kept a light suspicion on you throughout the game to save in case he needed to vote for you without explaining it too hard and looking suspicious. Doubtful that you're his teammate since he kinda sealed your non-lynch Day 13, unless there's something about the Phantom we don't know. And you voted for him first yesterday. It's not unthinkable, but I don't think you're his teammate based on what I see.

While I agree splints is not on Team Webber, I do think she's on Team 2, and would like to take them down before they kill again. Putting my vote on her now.
I think that's actually a good idea. If the last member of Webber is an inactive player, there's no hurry to lynch that player.

Now to look back and see who's been silenced each day.
This doesn't make any sense to me. Why would the last member or team Webber be inactive? The phantom has clearly been active and mentioned in night posts a lot

I'm still excluding nijuu from the list for reasons, even though she is an active player but BR never talked to/about her. That leaves Gumshoe, TH/SVS, and fingersplints.
Not sure I understand why you're excluding DREAM and Devin here. Why would a player have to mention another player for them to possibly be associated with one another? Also, wasn't BR a corrupted townie? At what point was she corrupted, and what can we assume was the nature of that corruption?
Gumshoe --- Gumshoe and BR interacted a few times during Day 0/Day 1 during her guaranteed civilian phase. But she never did talk to him again, nor did she ever acknowledge that he had disappeared. Their interactions were not meaningful in that either one suspected the other, so it could be reasonable to assume that she just forgot about him. That said, I'd say there's a slightly stronger chance that Gumshoe is Wildhorn over Devin.

TH/SVS --- with the way BR continued to dog TH, I think she was looking for someone to frame, and an excuse to suspect him. I think SVS is not Team Wildhorn as a result of this.

fingersplints --- If we don't actually lynch an inactive today, I think BR's interactions with fingersplints are most suspicious. I haven't looked at fingersplints' side of the relationship yet, but BR's only comments with her involved lightheartedness, friendliness, and sarcasm. I find these interactions far more significant than the lack of interaction with nijuukyugou.
You describe BR's interactions with splints as "suspicious" and "significant", but I'm not really seeing reasons why you feel this way. Sure, they could have been lighthearted and friendly, but does that really suggest a partnership between the two?

However I'm not sure that this necessarily clears Golden like he is saying. TGG clearly had internet issues AND another issue with the replacement thing. His teammates would have known that and could have wanted to distance from him early. I don't think this is necessarily the case with Golden, but worth considering.

I feel comfortable with my dfaraday vote and that suspicion still. With the threat of recruitment in the air it's hard to feel comfortable about anyone, but I still feel pretty ok about Sloonei, and SVS. I don't know how Golden reached his process of elimination, but I know it is wrong as far as I am concerned. Not saying that makes him bad but it does make me question his motives. dfaraday is my strongest suspect atm so will place my vote there for now. Sloonei I am right there with you with still finding nijuu suspicious. I don't know why MM is trying to push her as a confirmed civvie. I don't trust him at all though, so I am not really surprised by that. I would consider voting for him or nijuu as well.

nijuu I'm positive I have had more then 3 votes actually with the changing votes. (off the top of my head the two you mention from DF, some from nutella, you at least once I think, one from Golden when silenced, and another from JJJ) Just because they changed off of me doesn't mean they weren't cast.

Golden, I vote as late as I can every single game (I feel like a broken record as I know I have said this before), but have needed to especially in this one where I have been under considerable suspicion for days. I'm not sure how anyone can fault me for holding my vote to possibly save myself.

I voted Neverwhere for the posts previously made about inactivity. She posted, and it doesn't seem we are supposed to be getting any more of an explanation. So no point in keep waiting around, I'd rather lynch her who I have been more suspicious of her then someone who was just introduced and I haven't gotten to investigate myself since I just woke up and will be immediately returning back to bed.

I think the points about you voting off after going after people pretty reasonable, but that could have civvie motives. I don't buy that you are suspicious for the Epi kill. It seems too obvious.
Why are you more suspicious of Neverwhere though?
Because I think an inactive is on team Wildhorn, and I think her earlier posts are more suspicious then Devin and Gumshoe, and I think you are sounding alright the more you post.

Agreed. This posts pings me something awful. If you are panicking about almost missing the poll that you still had over an hour to vote in, how come you had time to supposedly read through the points on MM enough to not buy them?

Or did you come in because you were being suspected again?

It doesn't take that long to read a post. It takes loads longer to click on all those links.

I came in because as I said I woke up and remembered I didn't vote. I'm not making up that it's 4 am and I want to go back to sleep. I never stopped being suspected so that one comment is pretty silly. What do you think someone called me and said "hey get up you have one vote! Quick! To the thread!"

Golden, I'm not on team webber. I was highly suspicious of both Sig and Gman by the time each was lynched, and I was fairly vocal about it. For Sig, I may have been on the late side to get to the actual vote, but I had been repeating his name as a suspect for a long time -- I think I was one of the first people to tag onto the case someone (sloonei?) initially made and encouraged pursuing him for a while. For G-man, at first he was just annoying but by the day LC was lynched I was fully convinced that both were bad and wanted to lynch both asap.

This is not a statement of suspicion, I seriously don't know. I think people received some behind the scenes information at some point that I never saw or something.
No, I looked up the baddie team members, and the musicals all corresponded. (I know nothing about musicals myself). Some details about the musicals.

Phantom of the Opera features a huge chandelier swinging and crashing, onto the stage I believe.
Starlight Express is performed entirely on roller skates.
There was a scene in Bonnie & Clyde where someone fixes a car.

I started saying LC was pinging me back on Day 1, like before anyone else suspected him. I was one of the first to agree with Sloonei's case on Sig, and kept bringing up his name when everyone else ignored it. I found the inactives hard to place in the list, because I do think the looking at the inactives plan has merit, but it's hard to place them in relation to other people I am able to have more solid reads on. Plus, I haven't had a chance to reread Gumshoe and Devin. Here is my inactive list:

Gumshoe
Devin
SD
Neverwhere

Deciding how I feel about MM might change how I feel about SD. I actually like this post from her:
Spacedaisy wrote:Now, MM is looking shady as shit to me right now. He presents a case in hopes someone will come in and debunk it? He voted for her though... Then the first chance he gets he is jumping on me, the easiest target in this game right now? You are looking really opportunistic to me.
linki SD XD funny you should ask

I was at first a bit skeptical of SD because why replace dream out of all the inactives. (Could be baddie teammate was complaining) but looking back I think it's likely because dreamy hasn't posted the longest.
I think I always get bad vibes from SD, so I'm trying to not let that cloud my judgement.

Re: [Day 10] Bullets Over Broadway Mafia

JJJ - Neverwhere has been a baddie in most if not all the games she played. I know she fooled everyone as mafia her first game. (Myself and Golden included) and we were teammates in Omereta mafia. I'd have to look and see what other games she has played

Re: [Day 10] Bullets Over Broadway Mafia

I don't understand why Golden trusts nijuu. I still find her suspicious.

My vote will probably go to Nutella. She kept saying about how she was waiting for my responses but when I asked she didn't bother to respond with what specifically she wanted me to respond with. For that reason I don't believe that she really suspects me but that she is going with that suspicion because it is convenient. And she has already backed off some so if I am lynched she can say that she was reconsidering it.

Marsh, why treat this extremely important point as though it is barely worth a minor caveat in a big ISO? That vote was a big deal, as I suggested earlier:
JaggedJimmyJay wrote:Give Hedge credit for a really solid Day 1 vote. She voted for LC (Mafia 2) and at the time, it made this the tally:

6 - Long Con
5 - Cobalt
5 - S~V~S

If she is a member of Mafia 2, then this vote was very bold (and probably unnecessary). It wouldn't have been hard at all to take advantage of Cobalt's early behavior and cast suspicion on him instead of LC to facilitate a Cobalt vote. But Hedge didn't do that. I don't think it's likely she's with Mafia 2. That still leaves an opening for Mafia 1 or one of the independent slots, but those possibilities will have to be judged on their own merits.
If your intent was to link Hedgeowl to Mafia 2 (Team Wildhorn), then this point should not have been glossed over. It was crucial, and a big reason why I eliminated her from candidacy for that team.
I also disagree that this vote was a big deal in making her look civvie. If hedgeowl hadn't voted LC, she would have voted out a civvie. When LC flipped bad she inevitably would have looked EVEN worse for saving him day 1. Also seeing as how LC wasn't lynched Day 2, it stands to reason he probably knew he would survive, giving her even less credit for that vote. I think I have made my stance clear that I think LC's teammates probably bussed him.

I stayed up til 4 in case I needed saving, and now I have to spend the busy fun day I had planned running off 3 hours of sleep.
I don't like you implying no one cares about Doms game. Dom is a great friend of mine. And I think he knows how much I love this theme and game. I have tried to make it clear that I had some RL shit going on, but that I didn't want to share to feel like I was trying to gain sympathy for RL stuff since everyone has a RL. But if you'd like to know, I had an old friend of mine killed in a hit and run, so playing a game about killing wasn't top of my fun things to do atm.

What was solid about the case?
I thought MM's case of inactives makes sense. It might not have been here but I still think he brought up good points.
You are also ignoring the second part of my statement. I was in second place votes, and that wouldn't have been a better lynch. Epi is unpredictable and was saying he might tie it, so my vote was also defensive, since I couldn't be sure he wasn't waiting to swoop in and tie me with hedgie.

Vote hedgeowl. I think the case is solid, and much better then the case on the second highest vote getter. :)
