Re: [NIGHT 2] Fight Club Mafia - Wilmington, DE

Dunno if I'll be back in time before now to vote. I'm gonna try my chances in Newcastle, I think.

Re: [DAY 2] Fight Club Mafia - Wilmington, DE

I wasn't sure about the level deal until people mentioned they went up/stayed the same according to their fights. Thanks for the info!

Which brings me to my next point - if indeed the fights get more dangerous as the game goes on, I wouldn't mind volunteering now so I don't get stuck as a Level 1 against a level much higher than me. I'll put my name in the pot, even though there are lots of others gunning to fight :D

They would be granted absolutely autocracy over that town. We don't want that to happen.
I was wondering the same thing as Sorsha. Can you elaborate, llama?
No, because elaborating on a joke diminishes the impact of its humor.
Hahaha I'm dumb and hungry :derp:

Re: [NIGHT 1] Fight Club Mafia - Wilmington, DE

Sorry for not posting much. I forget how quickly the forum fills up

I can see the argument for staying here, as said by several others: safety in numbers, the possibility of not having to fight in another town since we wouldn't be "new," feeling out newcomers more easily, etc. However, a lot of people seem to be assuming everyone's good here. The numbers certainly point to a majority of civs, but we (or at least I) don't even know how recruitment is accomplished (and if it's already occurring as we speak), who is what role, etc. at this point, and from what I hear, MP is an avant-garde host. Assuming normalcy doesn't seem like such a great idea.

However, at this point so early in the game, I see more disadvantages to moving about, mostly just the opposite of what's stated above. At some point I'd like more insight on what's going on in other forums, but I'd also like to "play it safe" for this round and remain here. So, voting to stay.

Re: [DAY 1] Fight Club Mafia - Wilmington, DE

Crap, thought the vote ended at 6! Good thing I checked in.

Thanks for the enlightening, llama! I think I'll vote spaghetti, seeing as I'm wary of volunteers and my other choice was randomizing. Now, off to the store, as there is no food in my house

Yep, knew I knew the answer :)

Indeed, you may call me Ni! All sorts of nicknames have been created in the short time I've been here, and I don't expect anyone to spell out my ridiculous username except me :D

Re: [DAY 1] Fight Club Mafia - Wilmington, DE

Hello, everyone! Checking in. I finally returned from travels yesterday evening, and I forgot how fast everything happens in such a large game, so I needed a little catch-up (thankfully before it became pages and pages long  )

As for the vote, I've never played an MP game before, and from what people are saying, I should expect just about anything. Not sure if I want to vote for a volunteer because hey possibly ulterior motives, but I won't throw out the possibility. Like Bea says (hi back, Bea! Nice to meet you!), I am not inclined to be voted because I don't know what will happen yet.

People are saying they have a system. I have a feeling I know the answer to this already, but could you enlighten us more on what your "system" of voting in this type of game might be? Even a little hint? :)
