That's not the first incident. We are at odds frequently. Sometimes we are civ vs civ, sometimes she's bad and sometimes I am.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:fingersplints was highly aggressive against Black Rock in Economics Mafia. Turned out she was town and BR was mafia, so her read was accurate. Does anyone who played in or observed that game feel this parallel is meaningful?
I'm having a day. When I say a day, I mean I have been very angry all day and want to punch someone in the face. I am only coming in here to vote. I am going to vote Devin.
I am going to leave the Roxy and Splints thing alone for now. It turns out some of the shit I was reading in Roxy had other things going on that I was unaware of. With respect to Roxy I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt.
I deserve to die for various reasons.

Re: [DAY 5] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
Huh? I missed one vote. I'm still suffering the consequence because I screwed up my punishment, not because I missed voteS. I subbed in near the end of LC's lynch and I had no idea what was going on the game. He's dead. What would you like me to, tell you if he sounded bad before he was lynched? He's bad, he was lynched and we were told so. I don't really understand this at all.Epignosis wrote:I must say I am increasingly suspicious of Black Rock, and I'll tell you why.
Her husband got lynched and was bad, yet she's missing votes and coming in here talking about Roxy being the serial killer. She lives with LC. She has heard him speak in real life all the time, knows his tone, has witnessed his ruses, and should have a solidi(ish) view of what he would do or would not. I'm just seeing no effort on that front, and if Black Rock is civilian, then I think her involvement would be more valuable than it is.
I deserve to die because I suck at punishments.

I think you're right, you do deserve to die. I think I read through your posts and I think you are hosting with Roxy, and I think you have made protecting Roxy personal because you haven't gotten into this game. I am so shocked, you have nothing so you are going to jump on a vote for me so you look like your playing the game. Sweetheart, if I was picking a target for an easy lynch I would not pick Roxy. Roxy is never an easy target. You talk about my reaction? lolfingersplints wrote:Black Rock wrote:I read Splints posts. I still am leaning one way towards Roxy more than the other but I am going to reserve judgement for now. I find it more interesting that she has voted for Matt 5 times in a row.
I am undecided on Matt vs Mac. I'm hoping to see what I perceive to be an honest reaction from Roxy about my theories.
I deserve to die because I am an awful player who should have a better memory regarding punishments.
You can keep saying that I assume Roxy is a civvie just based off who was NKd, but the more times you say something doesn't make it true. There were more reasons than that as I keep saying.
Want to talk about making a mountain out of a fucking molehill. Your reaction is over the top BR. Why is only Roxy allowed to answer you?
I think you are just pissed off because you were trying to get in on the Roxy suspicion for an easy lynch and I called you out on your BS reasoning. I don't think you ever did answer what specifically made her the SK.
voting BR
I deserve to die for missing the vote, but not as much as BR who also missed the vote and is bad
I deserve to die for missing my punishment.

I'm just curious to what the over all consensus is. If the majority says "NO", again, after today, I will stop voting for Mac for being the SK

I agree with the kill inheriting discussed. If I had one faction killing one night, and the second another, whatever team left would inherit the kill regardless of size. I think I've seen it eliminated, but this is most likely imo
I should probably just be lynched because I deserve to die on account of missing the vote and all.

The only problem I see with this scenario is that if LC ever said anything like that last line I would have to divorce him right away.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:
So here's my point: if I don't believe LC's "gambit" ever really even existed, then I am not going to attribute theories about his scum intentions to that gambit. That means I am not going to be more suspicious of Mac than I otherwise be because of the possibility that this was a cooperative plan from the start. I don't think this conversation happened in BTSC:
LC: Okay guys, I really need to focus on my other game. I know we just got started here and you're relying on me to contribute, but I gotta bail.
Mac or friends: Well... alright? That kind of sucks. Uh, I guess we better bus you then and make it look nice.
LC: Definitely. So here's the plan. I am going to go after bea for her defensive posts. But when I do: it's gonna be a bad look. I want one or more of you folks to come after me for it right away.
Mac: I'm on it!
LC: Great. But here's where it gets interesting: after you go after me, I'm going to say in the thread that the original case was just a test for reactions and try to gain back the credibility that you take away. I'm known for this kind of thing, it'll look fine.
Mac: Alright sweet. Tell you what, why don't we also argue in the thread about your Flowers role and how it might affect the game? So much WIFOM!!!
LC: Aw yeah, sick. Bro fist, bro.
I also wanted you all to know that I deserve to die for failing my punishment. I'm an awful lady.

suspicious of motel room for bringing up Flowers tactics (although this seems like self-aware fake sussing, imo, since LC was Flowers)

Basically both Mac and motel brought up some interpretations of what Flowers might have done with his D1 vote and then LC sussed them both for talking about it. I already pointed out this suspicion looks fake, since LC was of course Flowers himself. But it still counts as LC putting heat on Mac for this.

After letting everyone know I received 6 PMs at the start of the game, I was pretty much fucked, though. Haha!MR F wrote:Whoa.
I had no idea the game started, I have to get ready for work in like 20 min., I have like 6 different PMs and there's already 14 pages to this thread.
LOL
Anywho, ummmm like I said before I know next to nothing about the Beatles, but people seem to be making sense about Penny Lane being an actual road, so boom.
Hopefully there won't be 30 pages by the time I get off work lol
I once witnesswed (while I hosted), a long time player claim vanilla civvie when there was no such thing. I miss Illyria so much.
She would have punished me for disrespecting my hosts by not voting. I deserve to die.......... good thing my hosts love me.

Edit for truth: I am a bad, bad lady and deserve to die. I should be punished for posting like nothing happened when really I missed the vote. Missing votes is a capital offense and if you're not careful you will die, like I deserve to.Black Rock wrote:I'm more inclined to believe he is a lost civvie. At the same time, I don't want to railroad a new guy if he is being genuine. Weird, though.
I know it's no excuse for my slow catch up but I started this game going into Thanksgiving weekend and as a caterer my hours have been long. Tomorrow is our family TG dinner and also two different celebrations of my sons 3rd Bday. It's not going to get easier for me until Tuesday.

In fact, I'm pretty sure I was taught this in my first game ever (I was Mafia my first game).
Does anyone agree this is possible?

Sounds like fun, I can't participate because I leave soon and also my opinion wouldn't be educated anyways. I already have good feelings on a couple of players though.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:I'll explain what it is:
We'll run down the list of living players together (I'll shout out the names two at a time) and everyone including me will offer a ONE WORD read on that player WITH NO "NEUTRAL" ALLOWED.
The only legal words are "GOOD" or "BAD". Nothing else is acceptable.
It is going to make extra pages though, but easy for me to get through so I approve.

If we have enough people present (ideally at least six, but more than that would be preferable), we should do gun to head reads right now. I will explain when I have affirmed there will be participation. If you're here right now and can take part in a REAL-TIME exercise right here in the thread that will likely last 10-15 minutes, please indicate that by saying AYE or something.

Wow guys, I thought replacing in on day 2 wouldn't hurt so much. I obviously have not been a part of this game and have no idea what is going on. I am probably not going to read every post. I will read the past few pages. Maybe start at where I was announced. If anyone feels kind and friendly and wants to clue me into anything important I should know I would very much appreciate it.
