Indeed. It is definitely a record on The Syndicate. I would venture to say it's a record total... but I'm not sure.

I am pretty sure the original Recruitment Mafia by LC and BR had 9,000 and some change posts on The Piano, and I am also pretty sure that it's the longest mafia game since I've started playing (mid-2010), if not before then.

I thought we broke 10 or it was close. I don't think it's record was ever broken on TP though. We had 40+ players to start. The good ol' days when that was possible. Maybe we can get up near 40 for Recruitment 4.

Nope, my vote didn't matter. At least I voted. IT would have been my third missed vote. I couldn't risk it. I still let everyone who has been keeping up make the decisions. How was missing the vote better?

Like what? I am home for a couple of hours and then heading back to the hospital. I'm trying to do some catch up in amongst laundry and everything else. I am way behind right now but if my son gets released today then I will be able to catch up more after 8pm est.

I have been in the hospital with my 5 year old for over 24 hours and will be in again tonight. The hospital Wifi sucks donkey balls so it's hard to keep up. Hopefully they'll let him go home tomorrow. He's been off oxygen since this afternoon. I said I'd check out Mata and things but I haven't had a chance to.

Cause for days I have been reading Epig say vote FZ, vote FZ. I don't think she's bad and I think it's obvious she isn't. So I think he is and wants her lynched for a reason. I believe he does know something more and I believe it's in HIS best interest to lynch FZ. I do not think it's the rest of ours best interest at this point. Therefore he must be bad.

Hi FZ, I'm here. I've been following along. I was sick on Monday and busy yesterday and got distracted by the other game.

I don't think FZ is bad. I've been sitting on the fence trying to decide if I believe FZ or Epig. I believe FZ now. I don't think Epig is a detective and I don't believe he's even trying to pretend to be good. Is he a Kira? Maybe? I am going to vote Epig today. He's the one I feel the most strongly of right now.

I have been back and forth with Boo all game. Right now I don't trust him.

I'm taking my 5 year old out for a special dinner now, I'll be back later and I'll put some real time into this game tonight. I'm voting now though.

What do you mean by the decisions part? And I am attracted to factual data. I understand the facts also say there is a slim chance that FZ. is an unlynchable civ which is what she claims to be. On the other side of the coin there is her getting mad with the fu but as been pointed out she was getting mad for no reason if she is unlynchable. I don't consider Epi's analysis to be "factual data". It certainly provides strong support toward suspecting FZ, but I didn't feel it would be something you would solely base a vote on. I don't think such a thing as factual data exists in mafia anyway outside of blatant role outing/info dumping and I don't think you do either. I consider you to be a player that would consider such evidence as Epi's numbers, sure, but that you would put it in context of your own read of the player. It surprised me that you seem willing to follow Epi's logic, which still leaves holes for being wrong, without considering your individual read of the player. Especially when the player in question has been as talkative as FZ has been. I feel like you would want to support Epi's numbers with how you've felt about things FZ has said herself, and how those things make you feel. I'm not talking just about the "FU" post here, but rather the sum of your read of her. She's left plenty of material to be dissected.

But while we're talking about it, the "FU" still makes sense to me if she's got a civvie role that can't be lynched. She would still feel frustrated that she was being wrongly accused, even if she would ultimately survive. I don't think a civ-FZ likes wasting lynches on civs, especially if the civ in question is herself.

Ok I did understand that but she used the word outed at one point and I did not see where she outed herself. She more or less said some vague things, claimed civvieness, but outed to me means something entirely different.

I'm going to vote MM. I wasn't sure if I was totally sold on the idea but after a brief review of his posts I am much more comfortable with it. I think this lynch will help me decide on a few other players.

First of all, I didn't even know about that role. The only reason I went to check is because Boo talked about it, and then DH, and then all the rest. How stupid do you think the baddies are? If I found out about that role from your talk, so would they. If they are not following the thread, then they wouldn't follow my post either.

Second, I disagree that real baddies don't follow the thread or read the roles. When I'm a baddie, I try a lot harder to follow so I have things to use on others, and also, so I know who to kill and who might have a power that might put me at risk. I have no idea how you people play this game

Correct. Meaning that on the off chance that the baddies weren't clued in on that particular factoid quite yet, now that it was stated out in the open, they would be.

That still has no bearing on What I underlined and addressed, which was that "in general" baddies tend to keep up with the thread, as you said. I agree with that, but in this specific instance, with the Zomberella kill, I don't think they were paying attention. If they were, they would have killed Russ or Black Rock, in my view.

I agree this is a possibility. I've just come to expect more from you. I think I've been very impressed by your gut feeling in the last games we've played, and you say what's on your mind. Maybe I am wrong, and your post here does make me second guess myself (here's another reason to call me bad, llama), and maybe you have your reasons to keeping a low profile. But since I do expect more from you, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Yes, yes I do. I have seen it before. Monopoly he said something stupid, tried to cover it up. We lynched him, he was bad.

I don't trust Bea at this point. Boo has fallen into my neutral area and I haven't paid much attention to Zeek at all this game. Maybe it's time to read up on him.

This post has been sitting in limbo for over an hour while LC caught up in the Rabbit game, so I will likely have a lot of linkitis and need to catch up.

Except Kira did not take this advice, for one of several possible reasons

1) Kira is not paying attention to the thread

2) Kira is Black Rock and does not want to NK herself

3) Kira knows who Black Rock is for some reason and does not want to NK her.
