I thought I was doing really well. I was mostly truthful with Ear Tube info. I mean you guys did sound like baddies trying to string up Bullz and Dom. :haha:

SVS it was you discussing dogs then?

Also I was telling the truth about not having an item for most of the game. I didn't get an item until I killed LC (which I will NEVER hear the end of). I think it's the first time I killed him and he was not happy with me at all.

Epig had me convinced that we couldn't work together. He was our leader *points finger*.

I knew Zomba had the vault because I checked her. I also checked BR and discovered that she had the safe. Since splints never got it after she died-- I knew BR had to be bad. I tried to create a case out of this, and I'm sorry if I sucked at it BR. I also was told she had more than one item NOT in the safe.

Thx to hosts and players. I had a wonderful time.
I had the safe? Well that was one item I forgot about. I killed you because you were calling me a liar and your case was not a case. You upset me. :P I was going to die anyways, you might as well waited until after. I probably would have killed you anyways because it was between you and SVS and I didn't want to kill SVS. I was feeling too guilty at the time to kill her. I'm not a baddie at heart.
thellama73 wrote:Here are some of the things I expected to happen, that didn't happen. :D

1. I expected the player with the Reed Bardeen role to play a more audacious game and try to take a few votes. In hindsight, ten was probably too many, I should have made it lower, but I think in the hands of an Epignosis, a Turnip Head, or even a Vompatti, that role could have been dangerous.

2. I expected people to try to vote earlier to get items, and I expected people to try to deduce the Celestials by who was voting early. I guess the obviousness of the Celestials pre-empted that though. Casimir Jech was able to get a lot of benefits by trading items, but Rabbit spent most of the game without one. He never voted first to try to get one.
Sorry for not playing the role right. I did not want heat at all. I was fine being vanilla. 10 was a scary number without getting lynched.

No, I was the mouthpiece. Almost every post I made was discussed at length. I was an angry momma bear, but I was channeling my dead cubs.

We did not actively try to lynch any of you until you killed TH. Before that, we actively tried to NOT lynch Epi, for instance. Zomba, too.

Linki @Bass~ I thought Eloh or Dom sent that. I had fun with that since due to also being silenced, I could ONLY post that. I liked Llamas approach to multi targeting this game, and will adopt it myself in future games.

I wish I had of seen that earlier. It wasn't until late game I thought of it as a possibility. By then it was too late. We almost didn't kill TH that night. He said something I forget that was freaking me out.

I can't post the content but the gist.

First one was talking about how as long as SVS doesn't turn on the person "we have a chance." The second person mentioned a recruit being lynched.

The second one doesn't even make sense. They talk about dogs. "A porpose staring at an ape, nothing". It was some sort of article "staring into a dogs eyes produces serotonin"

I have no idea what to make of this and I refuse to jump to conclusions again.

If it is not BR then I think if I counted right there are enough people left to vote Vompatti and win even with the night kill. Am I seeing that correctly? I hope Canuck votes. Ok, I'm off to bed for now.

Well it's not BR. I knew this would happen because I have no one to vouch for me. If I had my old role then I would be safe, my new role has given me nothing I could use to gain trust. The BTSC I trusted was wrong, or I read it wrong. I haven't bothered with the other two clips I got the past two nights because of it.

I think someone is just trying to railroad me.

I'm voting for Vompatti. He has to be the last one. If you choose to vote me the game won't end, then you'll vote Vompatti. You'll just give him that one last kill first.

Yeah. I've gotten angry at people. Just sat here raging away. Definitely haven't ever tried to defend myself. Nobody has ignored me or not even bothered to give me a chance. There is no possible reason why I should be even slightly unhappy about this bandwagon.

I said where I wanted to look. I invited people to explain the Vomp case or discuss DFaraday. I haven't had a chance yet to properly look at anyone. I'm very busy. Now I don't see why I should even bother when I'd need to convince literally everyone who hasn't voted. I don't see that happening. JC has already said she'd probably follow SVS, and I think at least one other person is going to follow you.
But you didn't discuss any of those people. That only makes me more suspicious of you.

I had to double-check your posts to find out what you meant by this. Is that the circular argument thing? I didn't ignore it, I just wasn't sure if you expected a response and didn't know what to say. You're correct. It is a circular argument on both sides. My question in that case is who knows my intentions better - me, or Rabbit?

I'm sorry if my previous post annoyed you but it was made at 6am from my phone, having not long ago woken up and checking up on the game to find I'd gained yet another vote. It's not that I "don't like why" there is a case against me, it's that the case against me doesn't seem very good when you examine it properly and I feel my defenses are being largely ignored. I don't like that I got two votes as soon as the day began - granted Rabbit appears to be silenced but he's ignoring the fact that it may have been (and in fact was) a set up. SVS I feel just wanted to get revenge for TH and so voted for someone she thought had been after him without even checking that it was the case. If she had any actual suspicions of me she could have given me a chance to address them.

It is true though, that now I have 3 votes people will be coming in, seeing them, and joining the bandwagon without having to put in any input. Blendy civs and blendy baddies alike are going to pile onto me. As for BR, I don't know what to think about her. I don't know what she seems to have found out, and I don't know why she has. If she's telling the truth (and not a baddie trying to gain civ cred after my lynch by saying "I told you he wasn't bad!") then I'd like to hear more about it from her.
I disagree though... and I think your anger is telling.
Try defending yourself against people who blatantly don't give a shit that they're wrong about you, and then see how you feel.
That's not what's happening?

Vouching is the wrong word. I received an item from a recent lynch. It allows me to get some BTSC conversation. In this conversation it seems two baddies are talking about pushing the lynch towards Bullz. They seemed joyous about it. Unless I'm being tricked it makes me think Bullz is not a baddie.
Could it be the Celestials?
It didn't sound like Celestials, it sounded uncaring of what the outcome might be.

I don't think it is old conversation. I only got it last night. Is there something I don't know that could lead to false info?

It has also changed my mind a little about Dom. To clarify that, I have been previously unsure about Dom but now I feel a bit better about him.
Black Rock, does your info leave you with a solid idea who you might vote for today?

Unfortunately no. He leaves me with the feeling that the baddies want to lynch Bullz and Dom. That's why I'm thinking that is not a good idea. It seems I got a piece of a plan. The way it is worded it does not sound like civvie behaviour.
Do you think Rabbit is a baddie?
Rabbit doesn't have to be a baddie for the baddies to want me lynched. They'll certainly benefit from it, so I imagine they would quite like to see me die.
I was just asking becasue BR was making it sound like the early voters, Rabbit & me, were suspect and that there was some sort of baddie plot to get you. I just wanted to make sure she was not saying that she thought rabbit was bad or that he was plotting against you.

I don't think Rabbit has to be a baddie for the baddies to want you lynched. I just don't see the connection between *Rabbit* wanting you to be lynched and the baddies wanting you to be lynched. That's where I am having the problem.
Maybe I was just jumping in with wrong words. I had just received my PM and checked the thread to see two votes. It was all so fast and sudden, I hadn't even had a chance to speak first.
juliets wrote:I forgot about another way this info could be untrue. It could just be purposefully bad info that came to BR and she doesn't even know it's bad. She's just repeating to us what she's got. BR is there anything about the info that makes you believe it's true rather than being false?
The nature of this information seems like it is true and not false. I'm going to ask the host a question and get back to you on that one.

I'm reading civ on him, that's why I said I think he is wrong. Honestly I don't know if I can read Rabbit but his posts have read genuine to me.

Unless you are surprised because you thought for sure that player was bad. :)

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 8]

What's this talk about throwing away votes? This is not the time to throw away votes. With that said I am very undecided on who I am going to vote for. If I had to vote now it would probably be BWT. I don't know if I mentioned before but his posts are just not sitting right with me. I have about an hour before I have to leave for my job so I'm going to go and peel potatoes and think about my vote.

He seemed honest. I don't know why he would do that to call attention to himself. I don't know, it's weird. Maybe I should think about it more.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 8]

My thoughts on those alive so far.

Bass_the_Clever - civvie
birdwithteeth11 - Not sure - I don't trust him right now
Black Rock 2.0 - civvie
Bullzeye - not sure - could be Rabbit is on to something
Canucklehead - not sure - I don't like what I'm seeing
Dfaraday - feeling civvie on him
Dom - not sure - I don't feel civvie on this one
juliets - not sure - I don't get baddie vibes though
rabbit8 - feeling civvie
S~V~S - civvie type
Turnip Head - civvie type
Vompatti - likely civvie, who knows really

So that's my thoughts. Not much to them. No one has struck me as outright baddie. I'm doing an elimination thing at this point.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 8]

Just waiting on dinner and thought I'd check in. I do not like the sudden suck up to SVS from Canuck. I understand she is busy but I have honestly heard that before from baddies. It just seemed like she was attaching to SVS so SVS won't suspect her. I've seen better game play from Canuck.
