S~V~S wrote:Unfurl, were you raised bilingual?
No, only spanish, I took english in school but it was very basic, but I liked music in english, so I think I learned more from listening to music, even if back then there was not internet to look up the lyrics
S~V~S wrote:If not how old were you when you began learning English?
Around 18 I had to learn english cause I lived in the usa for few years, and almost everyone around only spoke english, and I sort learned english from watching tv, so I sort had to know my way around
When I came back to my country, for a while when I was in college I had classmates to practice talking
But I was missing practicing the writting part, so when Lost was around the second season I joined STV, to practice it and thenI joined the World of Mafia, and I thought that was a good way to practice it too, cause involve reading/understanding and writting
It was and it still is, Im very insecure sometimes of making lots of grammar mistakes, and other times I just think oh well thats the way I roll, people eitheir like the way I talk or they hate itS~V~S wrote:I have a working knowledge of another language, but i could never imagine posting to a forum of native speakers. Was that intimidating for you?
From time to time I have tried to look up grammar classes online, but I get sidetracked or lazy
I still enjoy watching tv shows in english to at least keep my listening in ok level, but I have not talked in a long time, thats more intimidating, then writting it

Sadly no, I dont know how to drive, I get too sidetracked and I will be a danger to myself or other, plus I think the streets around here are too dangerous for it, or Im just to scared to try it
Right now it supossed to be winter/rain, but is not, is been very dry, hot, lots of sun, we only get some rain maybe once a week, A weather thing called "The niño" has something to do with been a rainless seasonRoxy wrote:How is your Fall weather right now?
My favorites probably are a Tool one, a Jack one (the nightmare before christmas) but if I think about it those are not the ones that I wear the mostRoxy wrote:Do you have any favorite shirts? If yes what are they?

I did made a facebook account a while ago, but I dont use it much, only if I get a private message I checked it out, I think Im too anti-social for facebok or maybe too private, probably bothRoxy wrote:Will you ever join Facebook?

I like pumpkin pie, but I have not eaten in a long time, is not very common around where I liveRoxy wrote:You are always so very sweet - what is your favorite dessert?
