Fairly happy with the results as well. Most of the big ones were pretty obvious and as I predicted, except for Best Actor. Glad Big Hero 6 won second place Animated Movie (cause first was Lego Movie!)

I have seen all of the Best Picture contenders now, except Selma and Whiplash. Birdman was the best in my opinion, but I think Boyhood will win. It's a good film, not great IMO, but the Academy likes to reward this type of film.

Angels & Demons - Not a big fan of Dan Brown but for some reason I love this film and Ewan McGregor in it.

I didn't buy into his role in There Will Be Blood, didn't feel genuine. But I get it's a matter of opinion.

Not really, I've just never found her compelling. I think there's a few overnominated actors out there whom I don't think are awful, Jack NIcholson for instance.

He was great in Gangs of New York.

Okay in everything else. It's the cold, harsh truth.

While I'm dissing beloved actors... Meryl Streep is fucking awful.

There Will Be Blood is overrated...

So is Daniel Day-Lewis.
