No, absolutely not. That's part of the reason why I trust you. You have got stuck into the game, and sometimes you say things that could be miscontrued. I just feel like you're overstating your part in that lynch. I think when the game's over and the truth comes out, it'll probably be so that your case on Sabie was wrong and that it was coincidental that she was bad. I don't want you having too much confidence in your theories, because your theories are often, sorry to say, garbage. Essentially, I think he's been virtually perfect, which troubles me. He's too clean, y'know? Probably not, I don't think I can articulate this well at the moment. I'll need to frame this better. But I think the same of a few players. I'm interested in the ones that seem to be playing a very careful, straight-and-narrow sort of game. You players think you can see the end, that you can just hold on and make it - I'm onto you!Dom wrote:Can you summarize your thoughts on DF for me, then? Why are you insisting that I'm The Master? I know you didn't role check me... did you get bad info? Other than me surviving 2 NKs, and not voting MM, do you have any actual thread evidence?
Or is it all hyperbole?
No, I didn't check you. I can't do that and I'm not on a team with anyone who can. Precisely as I said. And since sabie got lynched (showing that the role checker was alive the whole time), this nonsense about me making a lie detector statement to fool the lie detector demonstrates without question that I was not lying. But never mind.
Do you know who did role check you? Ah.

I was trying to save Chris, although I didn't think he was in particular danger like he was in the lynch before. I didn't see why changing from Epignosis to Sabie would help Chris. I changed my vote because I was afraid I was voting for a civ - bottom line. Sabie was genuinely acting suspicious, so it made sense to switch.Turnip Head wrote:To me it felt like you switched your vote because Chris asked you to in order to help save him. I always believed it to be flimsy. I can see Canuck being bad, being invested in another game, wanting not to let anybody down, doing the right thing and backing out before it was too late. What do I think of Epignosis now? I lean towards misguided civilian.
MP7, my top suspects are DF, Gotrees, Hedgeowl, and to a lesser extent, Bass, ninjukyugou and Elohcin. I don't have a front-runner; I don't know whom to vote for.

I don't know where I stand on the insanifier convo. Night is tchnically over, but Chris makes a good point that strictly speaking this long dawn delay is an unintended glitch. At any rate I reckon LC can stand this balloonery a little longer.
Chris, just want to clear up the fact that my vote for Sabie had nothing to do with your cases. I switched from Epig to Sabie because my vote for Epig was based on flimsy circumstantial evidence, whereas Sabie seemed quite conspicuous.
As for Epignosis, idk what to say. If you don't want to play the game, quit the game, y'know? Real life comes before mafia, that goes without saying, but we all have lives. I feel like this is more of a popularity contest than a game for some folks here.
I agree that the hosts have done a great job. These delays happen in every game, no biggie.

Why would you be dead? Your cases aren't convincing anyone, why bother NKing you? And you could be dead under other circumstances. He's saying that Sabie switched her vote from Enri to Made because she knew Made wouldn't be lynched. Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 8
I reckon the recruiter and his/her team probably win with whomever wins first (civs, cyber, dalek, master). I say this because they don't have an NK. In the event of the eradication of all mafia and The Master, the recruiter could just recruit all civs and we'd all win.
That or, The Master is the recruiter. But that doesn't make sense considering his ability to have BTSC with that other indy role, the one MetalMarsh had. And if The Master can recruit, he would be a very powerful role.

Maybe, TH, maybe. Canuck likes to participate and definitely wouldn't want to let down any teammates, so it stands to reason that she would probably sub out early, especially if she was involved with another game. It's definitely plausible that she was bad.Turnip Head wrote:I disagree Keys. Being mafia is an even bigger commitment than being civvie because you have to keep up with your team's BTSC.
Epi2.0 replaced Canucklehead, who was also playing the Monty Python game at the time she was replaced.
Chris, that could well be the case. I got the sense from Roxy that she just wanted him lynched for the heck of it, but yeah there might have been some btsc strategy to it.

Whom did Epig sub in for? In my experience, mafioso don't often quit games, simply because, as we talked about before, there is way less concentration required being in a mafia team. Because of that reason alone, I lean away from Epig being bad.
Sabie as far as I can tell has been pretty quiet. She was quick to jump on the vote for yourself, that's pretty much all I can remember about her. Maybe look at her voting record.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 8
We don't really know what the recruiter's deal is, whether they're bad guys or whether us civs can win with them. Because of that element, I think it better to aim for the Cybermen and The Master. The Master, if he's not the recruiter, is on his own now, unless those other secret roles ??? were similarly linked to him. Let's assume they don't. So then The Master is on his own, as opposed to there being a team out there. A team imo is more dangerous. So it stands to reason that we should aim for the Cybermen.

Is Snow Dog always such a passive-aggressive bitch?Snow Dog wrote:I mean obnoxious really when I think about it. And no, Keeeeys....it wasn't obvious.
Seriously, kid, idk what your problem is, but if you keep biting, I'll bite back. No confrontation.

What's not right?Snow Dog wrote:How long? Was your first suspicion fake or genuine? And why did you wait to be asked about this? Why not say in your first post after MP's death that it had been a ruse?keys56000000000 wrote:I was sure for quite a while, just faked suspecting him in the hope of convincing the bad guys that he might be lynchable, so they wouldn't straight-up NK him. Something is not right here.
Yeah, it was genuine at first. I felt like I sensed him really relishing his role, and assumed that the only roles to relish were the bad ones. As time went on, it became more and more obvious that I was horribly wrong. But the guy had a massive target on his back, and I reckoned the only way to relieve that was to up his lynch momentum. Why didn't I explicitly disclose it the moment he died? Well, I assumed there was no need; that people would infer it from my request to have the guy rezzed, that he was the best civ that lived, etc. You didn't get that from my post? It wasn't immediately obvious to you that I'd been faking it? Otherwise, like you observed, why was I suddenly so sure that MP was civ?

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 8
Chris, recruiting people? *guffaw*
The only good point I read up there is that Elo isn't a proven civvie, as someone (BR?) states. There's at least one mafia role that can survive NKs.
Doesn't matter, because no one is a proven civvie. In fact, the most civvish-seeming among us are the best targets for recruitment. I'm talking Elo, LC, Dana, etc. Anyone you really thought was a civilian, probably isn't anymore.

I'm asking, they can't all be civ, can they?Dom wrote:Question: Why do you suddenly care about people surviving NKs?keys56000000000 wrote:Harsh night post.
MP7, I apologise for ever suspecting you. I had to do what I had to do. But you, you were the greatest civ to ever live. *cries* If anyone can rez anyone, we want to be rezzing MP. Get on that, rez guy, if you exist.
Someone else survived an NK. We have a list of these people now. They can't all be civ, can they?
I'm very worried about this recruiter fellow. People we thought were civ yesterday might be mafioso today. That's how it is. You can't trust anyone. Who's recruited?

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Night 7
I did, then you talked me out of it. Last time I listen to you!~ But I'm taking credit for swinging the lynch away from Chris, who might otherwise have dug that hole to Australia, whereupon, he would have been eaten by dingos.S~V~S wrote:Um, you didn't vote for her, Lol.keys56000000000 wrote:Oh fuck yes! Chris, g'day mate! I'm still looking at MP. I don't think there is the will to lynch him, considering how much he posts, but I definitely think that's he whole game; he's hiding in the spotlight.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Night 7
I just want the Cybermen, and The Master, and whoever it is that's recruiting people, to know that I do not fear them. The Doctor has let me into his life and I love him. He will show me the way. Even if I die, the civilians in this town will triumph. I have faith. I believe.
