Sounds cool, though.

If the Desperado would target an unkillable-at-that-point Killgrave, would the Desperado still die?

The problem I imagine with Killgrave's lynch/kill condition is that he'd be outed. On short term, it benefits the Mafia, but then, as soon as the civs would successfully lynch another mafia, they'd have a guaranteed second lynch field Day in a row, and the mafia's natural odds would diminish to just one baddie left.
