FZ targeted Matt + bea redirected FZ = FZ targeted Sorsha?Metalmarsh89 wrote:
But why vote Sorsha to vote herself if FZ is suspicious of Matt coming into the day phase?
But still, how would then FZ be informed her new target ended up being Sorsha.
That line from FZ. just breaks my effing brain.

If Sorsha is forced to vote herself, how could FZ. have targeted you with extra weight vote?
If she targeted you with extra weight vote, how could she have forced Sorsha to vote herself?
How did Sorsha get silenced, either way? Did she get silenced?
If Sorsha is forced by FZ to vote herself, how can FZ have a civvie role? Doesn't a forcer usually imply baddie shenanigans?
How did Matt arrive at the opposite conclusion that the tally is actually 1:1, your vote not withstanding.
NOTHING.

Also, if you mean "extra" weight, then I guess FZ is not Gale after all, but Red (vote doubler) or whatever the first bird in that setup was.

I don't think that's true, because I just don't think FZ is Mac's teamie. I agree with the other parts you said, that it is a point in her favor, especially since I can verify.
Also, I actually think that bea may have targeted FZ last night, because my vote carries some weight again today.

Isn't that post in favor of FZ? "MM, the vote is currently, seemingly 3-2 for Mac. Please don't switch."Metalmarsh89 wrote:Ricochet, this would be why.
FZ. wrote:All those quotes are making feel like sharing something too. MM, last day, there was a reason I told you I trusted you to not disappoint us and vote for the right person. Let's just say your vote carried a lot of weight.
linki: I was considering that possibility. But then, would MM really have to fake being so confused between us for so long? I don't think so.
So she basically said "please don't save my teamie"?

Re: Day 12 ~ 2015 Game of Champions
Yeah, ok, but right now, wouldn't FZ be completely overpowered if she:
-- made Sorsha's vote count as 0 (or -1, WTF)
-- forced Sorsha to self-vote
-- silenced Sorsha?!
Unfortunately for her, the only Angry Birds reference I can pick up with certain features mentioned above would be Gale, the serial killer princess. Why would FZ. hint at being that? Maybe she's retconned into civ?
What's the full scenario on what's going on, power-wise?

Ok, now what's this bullsuit currently going on.
Matt, can you explain, in plain, non-mysterious English, why the current 3-1 tally is actually 1-1 and MM would have the deciding vote, should he choose to switch?
Judging by this, FZ. was aware that Sorsha would self-vote, meaning Sorsha's vote is forced?FZ wrote:Now Sorsha can come in and vote for herself.

Re: Day 12 ~ 2015 Game of Champions
They say the wolf running up the mountain is hungrier than the wolf standing on top. Well, I don't know if it's an actual saying or a proverb of some sort, I just read a tennis player use it in one of his motivational speeches. Not sure how it relates to a sportsman currently winning everything, over and over again, but that's a different story.
This story is about how I pretty much felt in my own endeavour, during this ascent, one that lasted days beyond keeping track. I wish I could say I was never motivated or determined to accomplish this in the first place, but it would be, at least in part, a lie. Even others, whilst trailing far behind me on the same path, have noticed it. Often, during the cold nights, I even had the impression of hearing anxious, urgent howls, coming from the top, the more I advanced into the heights.
Truthfully, I never started with such ambitions. In the beginning, I was too self-absorbed in performing as the jester of Snowdin Town, painting everyone's faces red in their sleep, ringing the church bells to disturb their midday chatter or evening prayers all the same, all in order to reveal myself to everyone as the stranger in dead clothes, the seer beyond the living, the witness beyond the dying, the vermillion clad unparalleled spaghettore. Only after being pitchforked by everyone, transforming into my real self and making a run for the Waterfall, to watch everything unfold from a safe distance, did the opportunity arise.
On the other side of the cascades, the path then revealed itself to me...GOAT Mountain, rarely traceable behind its ominous weather and thick veils of fog, destined only to enlighten the most gifted of the high posters. And also seduce them all with the one true objective. A summit into uncharted highs. The highest anyone has ever reached: col 1,450. Most have merely heard stories, but I happened to be on the same expedition when that was achieved. I myself could only accomplish two thirds of such a distance, before having to resign myself to the challenge coming to an end. We all returned and kept the legend alive in our tales, but the legend himself chose never to return and was never heard of again.
And so, with the best head start I could have ever hoped for and another fortnight of cycles to take advantage of, with no more perils to hinder my destiny and death itself seemingly interrupted from ever sharpening its scythe on my neck, not to mention in the best shape a disemboweled vermillion caped immortal skeletton could be, I found myself emboldened to attempt the ascent once more. Foolish would it have been, however, to believe the path itself would have now been cleared of obstacles of its own kind. And indeed did my spirit and form waiver at times: detours marked with "RL" signs that would only keep you from advancing or trick you into taking the wrong turns, ghosts or competitors from other valleys, challenging me to stay ahead (most notably a rogue climber named Baddie with such reputation, he was trademarked as... MacBaddie, plus one Darth Busty in his finest dark coloured bullsuit gear)... and the howls; the howls from above, alerting me that someone awaits up there, on the throne.
Yet I stayed determined, keeping doubts and challengers altogether at bay, finding the strength to keep on keeping on. And then I arrived. Col 1,450. The place of legends. And of one legend in particular. To my surprise, the wolf metaphor turned into the sight of a real stage, a small plateau atop the ridges. Awaiting me was no conquering wolf, though, but an old man, seemingly at piece with himself, seated at a rock table, drinking sake from a masu cup.
"Is it really you?", I asked right away, unable to hide the panting in my voice.
"Indeed it is", the man calmly replied.
"You seem different", I stated the obvious in moronic fashion.
"Indeed I am", he said. "Things are different around these places."
"And beyond this place?", I said, my eyes inadvertedly turning to the path continuing behind him.
"That I cannot say", he pondered.
"You mean to say you never stepped further?"
"There is nothing further, once your challenge concludes. As you will soon find out yourself", he countered.
"Still", I insisted, "that can only mean there's still time for me to venture further ahead."
"If that is what you desire...", he responded.
"Why wouldn't it be?", I asked, increasingly bemused, yet this time, he did not say anything. I couldn't really comprehend the situation, but most of all his demeanor. There was no resignation in the tone of his vote, but almost true detachment. I walked towards him at the rock table, to at least take off my backpack and supplies and catch my breath. He proceeded to take another sip from his cup.
"...Where on earth did you even find sake? Did you bring it with you back then?"
"There are many things that cannot be explained around here.", he proclaimed.
"So why shouldn't I go forwards?", I asked once more. "Why didn't you? Why didn't you return, otherwise?"
"I once climbed the same path you did, just now. And the feeling of accomplishing that was no doubt immense. But then it wears off and you realize, you have done nothing but look ahead, at the lonely steps you will take, one at a time, instead of looking back, at those you left behind. I doubt your perspective right now was any different", he retorted.
"But...! You didn't leave anyone behind. You helped all of us achieve something along the way", I reminded him. "Why shouldn't I keep helping them myself?"
"That is illusory, I'm afraid", he replied. "This is a place of loneliness, not of gathering. Your ascent was your own, whilst others perished. You supported them, but you also created a huge distance, whose effects cannot compensate for anything. They're soon bound to forget you, give up following your words or reading your actions, and so does your focus also shift. Forwards, not backwards. On your own, instead of in return for others." He paused for a second, eyes closed in deep thought, but then he opened them and for the first time looked me in the eyes. "You and I... the few of our kind to reach such summits... whom death cannot even grace. We're meant to realize when our own challenge should come to its natural end."
"So what am I supposed to really do? Just give up?" I cried out.
"Back from where you came, deep into the woods, there is still a war going on, fought by the last remaining souls. It is too late for you to head back and save the outcome, because of how much distance you took, in your own conquest.", he explained. But then, he also added: "What you can do is to observe. To witness the outcome. To acknowledge what you achieved and how its resolution lies in your hands."
I suddenly felt torn apart. His words shouldn't have really made any sense. One step. One human step and I could go beyond... beyond anyone. But in these vain efforts of mine, was it not true that...
"You must be right.", I said to him. "Despite my best intentions, my goals were never other than my own. At times, I even felt slightly ashamed of my methods... whereas your posts had depth and involvment, mine kickstarted in a big way, by simply bantering my way into trouble and making everyone tense..."
"Well, I wouldn't insist on giving such meaning to our individual endeavours, but..."
"I constantly thought I was there to help, but in truth their fight remained their own and all I did was to keep posting", I further meditated on the issue. "I could slowly feel them not being following in my footsteps anymore, not listening or processing the entirety of what I could offer, and myself losing touch with the entire scenery at times. Forgetting faces and intentions behind their masks. Failing to hear clearly anymore the language in which they speak, imply and signal to themselves. Failing to connect anymore."
The old man said nothing, leaving me in silence to judge my actions.
"So I should stop, then", I said. "I am not worthy of stepping further, for I will find nothing but myself on the same road to nowhere on which I started in the first place. There is no story they will tell of me. There is only the endeavour they each have to go through and the future ones they'll keep on going through."
"Have a seat besides me", the old man welcomed me.
And so I did. I sat next to him and he took another masu, to share with me some of his sake, as we then looked towards the valley, back in Snowdin, a place that looked devastated from the ongoing clashes, but in which you could still see a light flickering, with the determination of the few souls left standing. And despite its remoteness and high, rarefied air, I could still hear myself surrounded by the sounds and the touch of different sensations, for which to be grateful. This was no isolated, lifeless whereabout, after all. It was actually quite a beautiful place. Birds could still be heard singing, flowers surrounding the plateau were blooming... in a place like this, kids like myself...
...could just as well stop.

If Wilgy didn't know Golden was switching, then he voted to BREAK the tie.
Why, AS A BADDIE, would you intentionally BREAK a four way tie in which NONE of your teammates are in danger of getting lynched?
Answer me this. Please.
I refuse. If you don't give a shit about all the steps of that lynch, I don't have to, either.

You can't exclude Mac's vote from the picture! He's a Llama baddie! We're talking FZ being a fourth wagon that snowballed and which Mac contributed to. You can't discard Mac evidence only for Wilgy evidence.Matt wrote:I can't tell you why Mac pushed a tie by voting FZ. I have no idea.
I know Wilgy changed his vote last second, and I have to wonder why. What purpose does it serve to try and get MM lynched last second, if not to save a teammate?
Let's assume that FZ is not a teamie of Wilgy's. WHY does Wilgy change his vote last second?
As for your question: idk.
1. Tie shenanigans. They were both at it, frankly.
2. Pushing an actual player to death.
3. Wanting me to ISO him sooner and call Dr. Wolf on him.

Go check my ISO post called "DAY 3.5" and tell me how my walkthrough reads out to you. Including Mac's final vote being to push FZ into the tie. Is that really FZ teamie indicative?Matt wrote:I keep going back to the day Lorab was lynched.
Despite vote shenanigans, no matter how you cut it, Wilgy changed his vote last second. So did Golden, but Wilgy didn't know that.
3J, Lorab, MM, and FZ were part of the four way tie that day.
3J was civ. Lorab was Noses. Wilgy actually VOTED for MM.
So who does that leave us with?
I'm not saying I'm definitely going to switch back, but you can't ignore Wilgy's switch that day.

Well, I hope we've done the right thing. There doesn't seem to be a lifeline for Sorsha, either way. This silence is such a unique sight, it makes no sense as a night power. Her ISO, up to presumably bussing motel and inevitably bussing Mac too, tends to speak in terms of team-saving movement opportunities. If baddie, she probably also got the memo that her vote is worth poopers toDay and resorted to faking a silent stance and letting the other candidates rip each other apart as last measure.

DAY 7
Wilgy... banter about Mac; then strongcivreads him (and bea); plans to vote Draco or DH, based off LC's list; wary of MM; rebuttal against DH; nitpicks Dom's role; banter with MM voting him; vexed at being called a non-contributor; GTHs: motel bad, Mac civ, Matt-Sorsha-FZ all civ; wants to push a Boom lynch (talks with Mac, MM about it, later bea, and of course Sorsha)
[NIGHT 7] rebuttals, turns on Sorsha; calls Sorsha and Matt teamies; suddenly wonders what FZ is up to
motel... checks in, hardly manages to ketch-up, votes MM
Mac... votes MM... aw hell he was insanified... skip! roots for Boomslang lynch though or MM or, suddenly, FZ; GTHs: Wilgy not bad, Matt bad, Sorsha good, motel Willow Rosenberg; keeps telling the thread not to vote Wilgy
----
FZ... ugh, question cursed... wants to look at low posters (including Sorsha), wary of trusting MM; wants DH to talk more; questions Drac and Boomslang; wary of either Mac or LC; votes Wilgyson
Matt... begins MM crusade based on Dom's legacy; questions Mac voting Boomslang; lobby for MM lynch and Boom save
Sorsha... feels ok about Wilgy and juliets (but inserts second-guessing comment), shrugs at motel; plans to look at Dom's legacy, comes back with weaksauce comments; doesn't want to vote Wilgy or MM, votes Boom at Wilgy's request
[NIGHT 7] spooked by Wilgy's comment, considers him "turning on her"; banter denies allegations of mafia, claiming she'll have the last laugh come endgame
====
Wilgy's GTH is adorable. Buss on motel, good on Macky; also, pretty inspired to have placed all three candidates right now as civ, whether intentionally so or involuntarily. Mac's GTH is even more merciful with his teamies: Wilgy is good, motel is whatevs. This gives me the vibe of team's spirit in which bussing, creating mindtricks and such weren't the main MO.
Ok, so we all know this was Sorsha's worst Day, in terms of activity and her vote. What else can we draw out? The FZ-Mac antagonism is so recurrent, it makes me doubt it could have been cooked for so long, at such regular intervals. Wilgy was worth saving, so Sorsha could earn the point for doing such an endeavour. FZ. sinking him further or Matt being cold on the issue, for the sake of preserving his integrity, doesn't strike me as equally plausible, except for intense tinfoil/mindgames.
