That's my uninformed after not being active in this game analysis.

I'm interested in seeing where this goes...

Jeph, you were a gentleman and a scholar for taking my suspicion of you so calmly all game.

All of the above aside, I felt strong in my gut about Jeph from day 1. I still feel strong.

My point was that her vote came before a save would have even needed to be fathomed. There was still no clear indication that you would be option #2. Isaac and Jonah pushed it closer after that. Which is, in part, why I looked to Rachel out of the 3 final votes for Uzzy.

So again, I was iterating how Ruth in essence (and I now believe inadvertently) forced the need for the baddie team to decide between Jeph and Uzzy, after (what I believed at the time) Rachel and Jeph hoped for another name to take on more votes.

My logic may be horrible and idiotic, but it's certainly not a ruse.

Hey guys. I certainly don't deserve to win the game; I won't pretend like I do. My participation has been bare minimum and I don't know how well I would be performing even if I had increased time to study the thread.

However, I'm glad to still be alive and hope to redeem myself before all is said and done.

Now 3 more there would be swell, k?

Going back to square 1. I'll take a chance and believe I'm right about Jeph being bad. Everyone's playing pretty soft going into these lynches and I feel that contributes to the disappointing results.

I urge others to follow through logically on their reads of him too.

Between Rachel and Mary, I haven't been able to come to a conclusion on which I feel less comfortable with. I'm still keeping tabs on Jeph too. He's been a frequent participant, but I looked at his defense of Rachel and thought "Hmm, is he defending a high poster in an effort to paint a picture that all high posters must be defended? Maybe to include himself in that group?"

Rachel was the one who voted for me on day 1, right?

And now that Paul's out, everyone else in this game kinda blends together in my head, and nobody else stands out.

I see thoughts that Cain's been silenced, and I would imagine that's a possibility. Whether it was done to him in earnest or to create a ruse is the important distinction.

Jeph still doesn't sit right with me. I don't see him taking any stance of a sort today either, just more vague semi-defensive statements to keep appearances up whichever way Cain flips. He seems to be subtly expressing desire for a Mary Magdalene lynch, but isn't invested enough in it.

Also, I wish my user pic was a little more dignified. Just flopping out all over the place there, aren't I?

"A lot of people" paints the picture of an imaginary bandwagon where there was none (I believe only one other person quoted my post and acknowledged it positively. There was just as much backlash about it from Rachel, and that actually resulted in a vote for me) and also attempts to diminish the seriousness of the OP when he does not directly address it

His reaction is somewhere between outright dismissive and the over the top one that I saw Cain have a few posts ago

I take it the votes aren't changeable then?

We're all way too divided, I'm not sure how I feel about that... :/

I have doubts about Paul's sincerity Re: noobiness too. But I do have reservations about the potential of lynching a new player asap, be they good or bad. If he's bad and we can catch a teammate first, that's just as solid, in my opinion.

If Paul is truly new to the ways of our flock as he claims, then I would feel bad to lynch him early in the game.

I mean, I'd feel pretty bad lynching anyone. I'm a pretty peaceful Christian.

An analysis of two posts with barely something in them? Either you feel it or you don't. There's no way someone can logically and methodically accuse another person of being bad based on that and come out looking good.

And others, like he's picking up the terms used by Paul, possibly through osmosis that goes beyond the thread?

While the vote feels like a tactic to me too, it can easily be a valid tactic. Samuels' post seemed scummy to me too, especially the ridiculous question in the end, but the first part felt like him trying to convey: "I'm cool, I have nothing to hide". One way to try to push Samuel is by voting him and doing it fast. Nothing like pushing someone to the corner to get him talking. Worst case, Samuel comes in, eases his mind and he wasted a vote which has a high probability of being wasted anyway.

And his one post that's not defensive or supportive of Paul

You have voted early and maybe hastily wasted a vote.
You have not really given solid reasons for your vote. By your standards of d1 and how this game should be played, should we now vote for you? If not, why?
