I do think everyone is overestimating our expectations of them.

We don't HAVE to win guys. You're allowed to go and just have fun taking part in something special, without feeling the pressure.

It happens to all of us, don't sweat it.

I think it'd be best to avoid sending someone we've sent already anyway just so someone else can take a shot at it, unless we don't have any first-timers who want to do it this time.
You don't understand. I don't care about losing.

I marked the guy for using a suspicious adjective ("legitimate" when modifying the word "thoughts," to which I questioned if he had illegitimate thoughts) and I thought how dumb I must look around all these strangers because people on The Syndicate have ridiculed my masterful approach, and the one time it would have validated everything I stood for, I crapped out.

And he was bad.

I will never forget.

When we send you again, you will kick ass. I have no doubt.

But this is great advice. Here was my attitude in the heats - it wasn't going to be enough to play well. I had to play well and have everyone else know I'd played well to make the finals. So it was worth risking being terribly wrong to take strong stands and follow them through.

I'm technically eligible, but definitely still sitting out this year.

But I am ready and willing to hand the mantle of "Best result for the Syndicate" over to someone else. It's not hard, just win and get ranked in the top 5 in the final
