Hey Bullz, with Typh playing the SVS can't be bad if Mafia tried to kill him N1, I still think it would be a good idea to throw suspicion off Typh being our target n1 by you claiming blocker. You are Kate, after all, which isn't much of a stretch for her character. I honestly think it will be to our advantage. You could have a running list of people you blocked in the nights since. And when Matt dies today, you can say "well I blocked Matt n1, couldn't target twice in a row, so I blocked [whomever], and now on N3 you can block either me or the most suspicious.

Sorry Matt, I know that must feel rough to you, but from my perspective anything other than the ruling I made would have some kind of implication as to whether or not Floyd checked you. Either way, it wouldn't be fair to someone.

You should know that I would have come to the same ruling whether or not Floyd has actually checked you - I thought this through very carefully. People might or might not presume floyd has checked you, which they also might or might not presume based on his conduct before he died. But I cannot do anything that might confirm or deny that.

No. Kill is done by your top ranked member.
No, the person doing the protecting (should such a person exist) will not be alerted.

Don't forget to make sure it's really clear that you all agree on the target. At the moment it is looking like Long Con, but make sure you confirm

are people informed if they were unsuccessfully killed?

I suppose that would depend on what their role is and why they survived.

If, for example, Typh survived because his role is 'you survive your first kill', then he would be informed that his ability had been used up.
If, for example, Typh survived because he was protected by someone else, then he would not be informed.
If, for example, Typh survived because you were blocked, then he would not be informed.
If, for example, Typh survived because he protected himself, then he would also not be informed. He would probably presume he saved himself, but he could not know for sure. given it is possible that the real reason there was no kill is something else.

I am certainly not confirming a blocker.

Just confirming that you can't eliminate the possibility of a blocker

It can't be a block, because we never "sent" a PM. No one to block!

Blocking applies to abilities, not PMs. The kill comes from your highest ranked living team member, which at the moment is Scotty.

Provided there is clearly agreement in this thread, I'm happy to take your kill choice from the thread without a PM. So just make sure you all check in and agree. Otherwise, I won't know who to kill.

I think I would feel like this is normal Matt. I'm not sure that I would vote for you. And you never know how day 2 can change things.
