Re: Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]

Maybe if we moved this game into the Museum section, Frisky Dingo will fill up faster because people will see an empty game section waiting for action.

Dom, please tell me- what did I do to amaze you? Or are referring to Golden and my BTSC efforts?

Also, I've been trying to figure out where I know you from before because you feel so familiar to me. Which of the following did we play together at: Lostpedia, The Piano, SpoilerTV?

I don't see your name in any of my past game spreadsheets but I'm finding that I wasn't very good at keeping record of all my past exploits.
You know me from both The Piano and Lostpedia, where I was better known as jska108. :D
:faint: XD

You just took me back to a happy time my friend!

But I really was silenced.
Huh. Well then I had three of the five Heathens pegged and just got really lucky with you because I never believed you were silenced.

I loved your Dear Living Players posts and I'm fortunate you gave this game your all. You really played an outstanding game. One of the most inspired civilian games I've seen in recent memory.

I'm so glad I can finally explain this to you.
My level of involvement in this game was a major factor into my decision to post in pictures in the Econ game. I would have been overextended to the max! :nicenod:
See, that's what I figured, but then even after your death in here, you weren't your Balaam overanalytical self in Econ, and it kept throwing me off. That's why I waited so long (until D4) to really go after you for it.
I didn't want to take my Balaam game over to Econ even though it would have been much easier for me to do so. I can see why my decision not to contributed to you thinking I was bad. I committed to that picture thing and I was sticking with it doggone it! Besides, I was honestly hoping to avoid being Mr. Overanalytical like I was back in the day on The Piano. I guess old habits die hard! Besides, I try to play differently every game. At least that's how I rolled back in my STV days.

I knew it!

Only you or Daisy could perform that well on Bible questions. :haha:
Now, Esther/Eloh thought it was G Man.
Ah, that's a good guess actually, I didn't really think of a G-Man possibility.
Oh wow. Elo thought I rocked the Bible game? No. I may have married a pastor's daughter, but I don't know my Bible well enough to win a trivia game. Besides, I was busy with RL plans when both games happened.

Golden wrote:G-Man!!! My buddy was G-Man!

How ridiculously appropriate is that, given economics.

G-Man, it was so great to get to play with you. And I can't believe you didn't rat me out in economics when I accidentally logged into our chat room as golden. I must have covered that one well.
Golden, the Coward ;) - it was fun having BTSC with you! We rocked it pretty well. I really think we balanced each other out pretty well in our chat. You're much more even keel than I am. I spent half the game mired in paranoia and you just seemed to brush it off. Thanks for listening to my many theories and rants. I'm glad you only took my advice on most of the ones that turned out to be right. :D

I didn't see any need to mention your accidental outing to the Econ hosts. You unsocked yourself for Biblical but you didn't post anything that gave away your identity in Econ. I didn't even think it could have meant you got your BTSC chats mixed up too. I guess I'm a little dense like that. :fist: Did you notice when I accidentally logged in as Marx before the Econ reset?

Thanks a LOT for the day off. :dark: Did Balaam also get off the poll because he was your BTSC teamie, then?

I didn't sign up for Bible trivias knowing I'd suck ass. Then I lurked as spectator during the second one, Epig revealed it wouldn't be actual Bible stuff, but Bible allusions in art stuff, so when Samson didn't show up, I jumped in and then also won.
I got to pick one to take off, naturally I picked him.
That was so clutch. I'm pretty sure you guys would have lynched me on Day 6 had I been on that poll. Good thing Golden and I were tight.

Golden wrote:Also can I say - G-Man deserved every bit of this win and I'm sorry he couldn't share in it.

He continued to provide me with advice and technicolour lists long after he died.

The effort he was putting in to this at the same time as economics was immense.

I'm okay with not getting a winner's badge for this game. Honestly, I am just so glad that you got the win after all the extra technicolor lists I made for you. I still feel like a winner because of it. :nicenod:

Re: Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]

nijuukyugou wrote:G-man, I appreciated your ass jokes. I laughed so much in this game :haha:
You're quite welcome. How ironic that the guy making LOT jokes and the guy making ASS jokes had BTSC?

I'm amazed that I lived for as long as I did. Golden (Lot) and I gained BTSC the first night and I was worried his sudden reversal on me would look obvious or shifty. Golden's vouching for me also probably should have been a giveaway to the baddies as to who we were.

At first my technicolor lists were fun. I suck at reading people so I really far too much on vote analysis. I think I started doing my Technicolor Vote lists after seeing MP's rainbow reads in Econ Mafia. I was curious if anyone thought I was MP because of that. But yeah, those technicolor lists stopped being fun around the time I died.

Epi told us that we could retain BTSC even though I was dead, so I kept composing the technicolor lists and PM'ed them to Golden's sock account. I was also keeping abreast of the game and theorizing with Golden in our chat room. We didn't always see eye to eye. At the end, I was paranoid that Bathsheba was Judas because that sock got active again right around the time Judas killed me.

Also, I totally had four of the five Heathens pegged at various points. I caught Ruth in what I thought was a lie when she claimed she had been silenced. Then my technicolor lists exposed Mordecai, Deborah, and Esther. I was going nuts in the chat with Golden, all but screaming at you guys to go after Deborah. Glad you guys did. I didn't provide Golden with much input at all for the final day because I wanted the civvies to win or lose without outside help.

So proud of you guys! Way to win it!

I actually intended to be like a lot of you guys and just slack off and post as little as necessary. But then I got BTSC with Golden and I felt obligated to commit as much effort as possible. I put in a full-game effort despite only being alive for 2/3 of the game. Ironic that Golden was working so hard with me in this game and so hard against me in Econ. Good thing he didn't know I was his BTSC partner. That could have gotten awkward.

I also had a lot of fun writing the "Dear Living Players" posts. I did something like that when I died during The Office Mafia on Lostpedia. It was an alternate storyline where all the dead players were still working I think. I laughed good and hard when some of you speculated that my "DLP" posts actually meant something. Since I was still working BTSC with Golden, I figured I ought to contribute some cheeky humor in the game thread too.

Serious question- did anyone suspect I was Balaam at any point? I don't know if any of the LP/TP'ers of old remembered me or my play style. Heck, I don't even know if it was my old style.
