I'll be checking with the GM(hosts) prior to any time I sing up here anyway, and as long as nobody lies to me about their policy on dead player subs and brings one back in anyway after they told me they wouldnt, it should be a problem anyway. I think the only exception I will be making is in Roxy's upcoming game. Bass wants me to play it since I'm pulling him into Cobalt's Teen Wolf game.

Anyway, I did find it hilarious how long my name was a relevant topic after I left. Epignosis being revived did extremely piss me off yes, but that wasnt why I subbed out. I legitimately had no home internet. You can ask Bass The Clever. I hadnt signed into XBL for like an entire month and that is very far out of the ordinary. But Epi being brought back into the game immediately after being night killed is exactly why I will never play another game where dead players can be subbed in. Sure if you twist and bend the fuck out of that night phase, we essentially night killed Moving Pictures. But that wasnt who I wanted dead. If I wanted MP, dead, I wouldve killed MP. But I wanted Epi gone, and by subbing him back in right after death you essentially overrode my night kill and I am not having that shit as long as I have a choice. If that ever happens to me again I will explicitly ruin a game to make a lesson out of it. Count on that.

At the very least, players who are night killed by vigi, third party, and mafia should be exempt from subbing back into the game. Only lynched civs should be allowed to sub back in, but even then I would prefer that it not be allowed in the first place.

I asked to be subbed out because this internet problem has turned into a major obstacle as opposed to the few day nuisance I originally thought it to be. Hopefully Dom has somebody waiting on the sidelines.

Got a really weak signal on my phone from a neighbors house. Turns out Time Warner is bullshit. I called to activate my modem and they told me they need to send a site surveyor because they are not currently servicing my house or something. They do offer internet here but I can't use it yet. Fucking bullshit. If I lose this signal ill go up to the library and out a vote on myself. I'm really far behind but once I get this all resolved ill be up to speed. Ive been able to look at the thread at work but in not afforded the time to actually read anything in depth

Update: it took me 15 tries to post this

On lunch break right now. Got an email from my new ISP and I have to call then with my MAC address when I get home to activate my router. So if all goes as planned, I should have internet before the poll ends.

If all doesn't go as planned, I have to go buy a new fucking router which I really don't want to, ans it will take an hour or two longer, but should still get done in time.

Also it is true that it takes a thief to catch a thief, but a good detective knows their signs without having to steal a thing. I got pretty good at catching Mafia before I finally got a bad role in bible Mafia. The extra perspective helps a bit.

I seen that Bass asked me if I think SVS is acting any different. As far as I can see, I don't think so. But she was the second Mafia to die in bible Mafia so my memory on her playstyle is a little fuzzy. Plus I've only played one game here, so I don't know the differences between Mafia SVS and civ SVS, so my take on her in regards to that is unreliable. I've only seen her one light previously.

Because if so, that's a snip from a really old chat room I used to go to about a video game. Somebody wanted me to copy/paste it on another forum and I just never got rid of it. I would post it, but I participated in it like a jackass in the most sarcastic way imaginable, and I would look really fucking weird because nobody here would get the context.

Now, now. Do you expect me to tell you all of my hunting secrets and methods of madness in regards to mafia? That wouldnt be very smart of me. Plus there are some JTM people in this game, and the way I hunt activity still works quite nicely over there.

Just know that some of you are dodging me, and some are not. It's really not that hard to piece together if you really put your mind to it. I just dont want to lay it all out on the table.

For the record, making me reiterate the same statement multiple times will piss me off quickly. This will be the last time I explain this, Sig. I am not being inactive on Day 1. I am not ignoring the game Day 1. I am not taking this game as a joke on Day 1. Day 1 is always my weakest day. I almost never see anything that draws my undivided attention as a mafia tell, or see anything that would make me color another player as bad. Now, I may have opinions, but I normally wait until I have some things to back up my opinions with on a later day. I dont just throw shit out of the sake of throwing shit out. I wait and I gather. I wait until my theory makes sense, and then I share it. I'm not a fan of putting out information that has a possibility of being 100% incorrect.

When I have something to say, I will say it. Make no mistake of that. It also doesnt help that my very first mafia game I was night killed on the first night. I learned a hard lesson there and I have my own way of trying to avoid it in games going forward.

This post keeps worrying me every time my eyes pass over it. I know every player has theirnown style, and i've certainly seen this particular style used effectively by townies (i do it sometimes myself), I never like a player giving themselves an excuse not to be active at any stage in the thread. GamerGuy has a few posts like this already. I am not saying that this strategy is dishonest or that his internet problems are not real, but I Refuse to give him a pass just because of these posts.

Allow me to clarify. I am not declaring that I will be inactive. Just stating that I normally don't have very strong opinions early on. I'm pretty indecisive, and without anything I could call proper evidence I normally don't chase down any suspicions. When I make a case, I want make it good, and I want to make it once. If I see anything worth pointing out, then I do. But otherwise I wait for the indisputable vote data and night kills to land at my door, and see what I can do with that.
I also deal in profile activity from time to time but most of you seem to be already circumventing my hunting methods for that angle.

It also doesn't help that in 90% of the games I play I can't help but see most day 1 talk as baseless banter. Game doesn't really start until day 2 for me.

I'm contacting a new internet provider tomorrow, but until I get a proper new connection where the provider doesn't go down for maintenance frequently for no fucking reason, I will pop in fleetingly via free wifi at a college I don't attend. It should o ly be like 4 days tops I hope. So if I'm not around as much as I usually would be during that period of time, you know why. Ill probably be able to stay relatively caught up using internet at work though. I just won't have my charts for reference and what not.

If you do the rainbow lists again, could you at least give the courtesy of spoilering them? Not because I dont want the information to be seen. It's because the longer the list gets, the more annoying it becomes to get around the pages. Having to scroll for like two whole minutes in bible mafia because a rainbow was posted was extremely fucking annoying.

I don't really partake in Day 0/Pregame stuff, but a word of advice to you Cobalt. Pay very close attention to the rules of this game. I probably couldve gotten myself Dq'ed in Bible Mafia numerous times if I played like I was usually allowed to. Standards are different around here.

Things like info dumping and role claiming and shit like that.
