I view Sloonei as a civilian. I am less sure of him than I am of falcon or Strawhenge, but I still think he is fine. I've had no gripes with the directions he has taken his hunt. We seem to be viewing the game in general through similar eyes. Despite being Work Boy he is still sustaining a high clip of activity, currently over 200 posts. I wouldn't call him a perfect expression of his town self, but right now I hardly care. There's no way in hell I am voting for Sloonei today. He's close enough.
I think his obstinate view of The Hierarchy in general looks authentic. I make that read very cautiously, in that he probably stays POE but with less conviction.
I think even asking that question is already digging too deep into human nature to be reliable for anything, if I am honest with you. I'm playing a game of mafia where I'm surrounded by players of a higher skill level than I. If enough players conclude something that I don't see eye-to-eye with and they're right, then no I'm not concerned.
It isn't lazy to chop "slankers" when a wealth of rationale has been provided to support the choice by various different people.

Regarding TSP, it is more that I am not buying the suspicion against him rather than that I a firmly town reading him. I would lean town because I feel like I can see some thread of thought coming through in his posts, even if it's not always easy to understand. He did just show us that he's a highly capable liar in Fallout, but I'm not inclined to bury him Day 1 here out of vague paranoia.

How do you feel about the current state of the game?
It's hard to see game solving happening in his decent load of posts. There are reads, or things resembling reads, hurled into the void here and there, but I couldn't begin to piece together progressions or thought processes or cohesive solving. To be clear, I don't think it's automatic either. It's just natural that less content would trend more toward less trust in general.

I'm not telling you to interpret Mac's alignment. I'm telling you to play the game with a civilian mindset. You can read Mac as town and receive an accusation from him without defaulting to "am I being trolled?" like someone who is egg-shelling a perceived reaction test in an effort to pass it.
Mac can literally be trolling. It's irrelevant. Like someone timid in the face of a harsh assessment. I think someone (maybe you?) suggested it looked mafia/mafia -- I don't think I agree with that. If AL_sama is mafia, I think that looks like them shrinking visibly from the pressure presented by someone outside their comfort zone. AL's reaction doesn't have to be a mafia one. It doesn't tell me much in general about them on its own power.
