Re: Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game (END)
Thanks for playing, gang. I'm glad the game ended up competitive. I figured it was a bit more mafia-skewed than my games typically are, and go figure the civilians win. It took a comeback though, and a little last-minute Slooneian courage.
Hold your heads high, mutants. You battled all game.

Re: Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game (NIGHT 4)
ITEMS
1 - 10mm PistolOnce during a day phase you may shoot a player. The shot has a minimum 65% chance of hitting the target, and always a 5% chance of backfiring on oneself. This will not kill the target; it will add one vote.
2 - Shotgun
Once during a day phase you may shoot a player. The shot has a minimum 65% chance of hitting the target, and always a 5% chance of backfiring on oneself. This will not kill the target; it will add a number of votes depending upon distance to the target (2 - 0.5 * #of names between self and target in the poll)
3 - Minigun
Once during a day phase you may shoot a player. The shot has a minimum 50% chance of hitting the target, and always a 5% chance of backfiring on oneself. This will not kill the target; it will add one vote and an additional vote to each player within one poll position of the target.
4 - Rocket Launcher
Once during a day phase you may shoot a player. The shot has a minimum 50% chance of hitting the target, and always a 5% chance of backfiring on oneself. This will not kill the target; it will add one vote and an additional vote to each player within two poll positions of the target.
5 - Sledgehammer
Once during a day phase you may attack a player. The attack has minimum 60% chance of hitting the target and will never backfire. This will not kill the target; it will add one half vote.
6 - Crowbar
Once during a night phase you may attempt to break open a locked door. There is a 25% chance of success. Target a player, and if that player has BTSC, it will be silenced for that phase. They've been alerted by the noise you've made, but still have to cease their chatter until you leave.
7 - Leather Armor
Once during a night phase, you may elect to don your leather armor. If you are targeted for a kill, there is a 25% chance that it will fail.
8 - Stimpack
Once during a day phase, you may apply the stimpack to any player including yourself. This will remove one vote from the target.
9 - Box of Noodles
Once during any phase, you may eat your delicious box of pre-war noodles. Yum! You have no idea what that did.
SECRET - All probabilistic actions have 5% greater chance to suceed for the remainder of the game. If irradiated by The Master, negative effects are doubled. Only the latter effect stacks.
10 - Buffout
Once during any night phase, you may take a buffout. During that night you may not be role blocked.
11 - Mentats
Once during any night phase, you may take mentats. During that night phase, if you are targeted with any actions, you will be told what those actions were (but not who used them).
12 - Psycho
Once during any night phase, you may take a psycho. During that night phase, you may not be roleblocked. During the following day phase, your count of votes received is reduced by one. There is a 35% chance you will go into a seizure and be unable to post during the same following day phase.
13 - Beer
Once during any phase, you can crack open a cold one with the boys. Your confidence will soar, and your gambling performance will improve that phase.
14 - Booze
Once during any phase, you can elect to get wasted. The despair of the wasteland will be gone from you for a brief, fleeting phase during which you may buddy around with someone of your choice against his or her will (25% chance of disrupting his or her night action or vote).
15 - Nuka-Cola
Once during any day phase, you may drink a warm, fizzy Nuka Cola. Freshly caffeinated, you'll be immune to all extraneous voting effects associated with items (and only with items) that day.
16 - Iguana-on-a-Stick
Once during any day phase, you may snack on one of Bob's amazing grilled "iguanas". Yum! You have no idea what that did.
SECRET - During the following night, you'll be immune to roleblocks. During the night after that, you'll be automatically roleblocked.
17 - RadAway
Once during any phase, you may inject yourself with a RadAway. You will be immediately cured of radiation sickness.
18 - Doctor's Bag
Once during any night phase, you may select any player to mend. He or she will have a 65% chance of being protected from all non-fatal hostile night actions.
19 - Geiger Counter
Once during any phase, you may scan a player with your Geiger counter. You will be informed if that player has been irradiated at any point.
20 - Flare
Once during any night phase, you may light a flare. If a protective role is still alive, he or she will be alerted to your flare. Whether they heed it is their choice.
21 - Motion Sensor
Once during any night phase, you may use your motion sensor. If someone targets you with an action, you will be told who it was but not what they did.
22 - Rope
Once during any night phase, you may use your rope. You can use this to infiltrate either the Darkwater's Store or the Casino to steal something from within. You're not sure how likely it is to work, but you know that if you screw up the proprietor will know about it.
23 - Radio
Once during any night phase, you may use your radio to deliver a broadcast. If anyone else has a radio, they'll receive your broadcast via private message.
24 - Plastic Explosives
Once during any phase, you may set your explosives at the personal storage of any player. There's a 75% chance any items they have will be destroyed. There's a 25% chance you'll make a mistake and blow up your own shit instead (including up to 40% of your own bottlecaps)
25 - Lockpicks
Once during any night phase, you may attempt to infiltrate the personal storage of any player. You will have a 35% chance of stealing any items or bottlecaps in their possession (items first priority, caps may not exceed 40% of target's present caps total).

Re: Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game (NIGHT 4)
ROLES WITH SECRETS
TONYSTARKPRIMEYou are The Master.
How you came to be what you are is unclear to nearly everyone else, but it matters little. You wield immense influence over the wastes, including over thousands of people who do not know you exist. You are as brilliant as you are terrifying, and if you get your way the world will soon be a very different place... and so much more pure.
If you deliver the night kill, you will not be affected by role blocks or protections. You may not kill during consecutive night phases.
Separately, during each night phase you may expose a player to intense radiation. He or she will become sick, and all of their efforts will be hampered accordingly (but not prevented outright; voting, night actions, item usage, purchases, and gambling) for the following two phases. He or she will be made aware of radiation sickness, but prohibited from revealing it.
*secrets...* (to be revealed only when appropriate) -- EVEN TSP DID NOT KNOW THESE SECRETS. THEY NEVER CAME UP.
If The Master is the last member of the Super Mutant Faction alive, his win condition might change depending upon the circumstances. If the Vault Dweller is still alive and has leveled up speech at least twice, then he/she will join The Master in an anonymous BTSC. They will then negotiate terms such that The Master may be granted Redemption if he wants it: surrender, elimination of all super mutant production operations, and 0.5 wins on the leaderboard. Alternatively, he can ignore the pleas of the Vault Dweller and continue to pursue total victory.
If The Master is the last Super Mutant alive, the Vault Dweller is dead, and Jacoren is alive when the game ends in a Super Mutant victory, Vault 13 will be completely conquered and dipped. Fallout 2 Mafia will never happen.
You begin the game with 98 bottlecaps and a Box of Noodles. Once during any phase, you may eat your delicious box of pre-war noodles. Yum! You have no idea what that did.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
JACKOFHEARTS2005
You are Gizmo.
You run the casino at Junktown, and you'd very much like to run the rest of Junktown too. You've been feuding with Killian for years, and you're more than ready to finally be rid of that tight-ass prick.
You are in charge of the casino. During each day phase, players may contact you anonymously through the host to participate in your casino games. If you die, the casino will no longer be in operation.
If Killian dies and you are still alive, you will take control over the Darkwaters store.
To win the game, Gizmo must control the Darkwaters store, have earned a net profit at the casino when the game ends, The Master must be dead, and any player who earned a profit of 50% their original bottlecaps value or greater at the casino must be dead. This value is subject to change at endgame if the host determines it is unfair (but such a change will never make winning harder).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SLOONEI
You are Killian Darkwater.
You run a supply store, and serve as the defacto mayor of Junktown. You keep the peace despite every effort from the unfavorables in the area to undermine you, and passers-through respect your authority.
You run the Darkwaters store. During each day phase, players may contact you anonymously through the host to barter for items you have in stock. You will not be obligated to accept or reject any offers; the choice will be yours. The store's supply will be listed on the game's front page, and details for its operation will be included there. You may not use any of the items in your store. If you die, control over the store will pass to Gizmo. If neither you are alive, the store will no longer be in operation.
Is the only player who knows what all the items do (unless Gizmo takes the store). He can purchase his own stock at costs dictated by the host and then use items he has bought. His bottlecap fund is separate from the store fund.

He'd never been more confused in all of the short life he could remember to that point. He ran in circles across the desert screaming incoherently, smashing and crushing anyone unlucky enough to find their way into his zone of chaos. There was one such victim who didn't fully understand the irony of what had just happened to him.

The beast calmed down for a short moment to stare at the newly concave facial structure of the man he'd just annihilated.
"FRRAAAAANNNNDDDD?"
"CAAAAVE FRAAAAAAAAND???"
Uncontrolled rage welled within him. He stomped on the already-dead man's head to splatter it flatly against the dirt. Then he ran in the first direction to which he could orient himself. And he ran. And he ran. And he died.

The Children of the Cathedral
Video contains game spoilers
With the Brotherhood largely neutralized, the fate of the wasteland was left to the fledgling societies dotting the landscape of what was once southern California. Only a select few heroes and heroines had any hope of finding and infiltrating the home base of the super mutant force, let alone discovering the being behind it all. A new hope dawned over the landscape though when the massive cathedral south of The Hub exploded -- something big had happened.

Re: Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game (NIGHT 3)
Don't touch my power armor, initiate.
With the loss of General Maxson, the Brotherhood of Steel doubled-down on their efforts to root out the super mutant operation. One of them in particular was extremely hostile in his pursuit of vengeance. His men always hated him; he was such a damned prick. When push came to shove though, and his unit needed him most, he stood in the face of hopeless odds against a mutant squad. He died saving his men from certain doom, and he made sure to take as many of those green bastards with him as possible.

An operative eliminated
With his brilliant lieutenant eliminated, The Master was forced to double down his efforts from his own base of operations. He ordered a sweeping investigation of his facilities below and above ground to ensure all personnel are entirely dedicated to his message of Unity. One of them wasn't. Thankfully for him, the chaos of seeking him out ended up exposing her anyway.

An attempt to regroup
Game spoilers within video
With the super mutant threat known to both the administration within Vault 13 and to the high-profile personalities of the wastes, a combined effort could be galvanized to confront them. Nobody was entirely certain where to begin though: not only was it not known who was responsible for the proliferation of these creatures, but neither could anyone be certain where they were being generated. There was hope though. A squad of Brotherhood of Steel scouts had just returned from the northwest with reports of a massive pre-war military facility crawling with super mutants. Was this the place? They had no choice but to investigate.

Re: Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game (NIGHT 1)
A message from Tandi
Night 1 Message:
This is Tandi 1000. Ha ha. I made that joke up all by myself. Look, I know people think I'm naive and useless, but I have things to say, and you should really listen to me! Here's a list of suitors who visited Shady Sands.
ColinisCool: I am not impressed by Colin. He bounced his vote around quite a bit during Day 1, following Epignosis at first, and then landing on birdwithteeth. Not impressed, no.
Creature: The arrogance is astounding. He needs to show what he demands of others. I'm not impressed so far. Lynch him if he doesn't perform.
Dragomir: He was allegedly taken by the Blades. We may not hear from him again.
Epignosis: He looks fine. I don't understand Long Con's vote on him. He'll have to answer for that.
Glorfindel: I met him once in Junktown. He bought me iguana-on-a-stick and showed me around. I like this fellow.
Jackofhearts2005: Who?
Long Con: His vote on Epignosis was not in keeping with what he said in the thread. I would like to see more attention on Long Con.
MacDougall: He's rocking and rolling. Keep an eye on him. For now, leave him alone.
Oreki: He was allegedly on a mercenary mission and got stranded. We may not hear from him again.
sabie12: No comment.
Sloonei: If Sloonei is bad, then what is doing? Let him keep doing his thing. If he's bad, he'll be obvious enough. If he's good, he's a great boon.
sprityo: Lynch him if you have nothing better to do.
TonyStarkPrime: Tony Stark is Prime. He's fine for now.
Regarding how things went down Day 1, I want MacDougall to calm down. He's been bad at judging sabie, and I want him to think on that before he kills her again. He may be right. But think on it. Don't yell at people. He's solid, and if he's right, great. If he's wrong, then he's a meanie.
Do not lynch: Epignosis, Glorfindel, MacDougall, Sloonei, or TonyStarkPrime. These are people I feel good about. Okay?

If there had previously been any doubt about the mutant threat, it was quickly dissolved when the mutilated corpse of Shady Sands' most endearing citizen was found by her father Aradesh this morning.

It is Day 2. You have 48 hours to lynch someone. I will be unavailable much of tomorrow evening and have to extend this phase. If you wish to visit the store or casino, PM me at will and please be patient. Thank you.

Let’s refrain from calling each other dumb or anything similar. Mafia is a game of conflict, so go crazy — but remember rule #1. It is not permitted to quote or discuss this post publicly. Thanks gang.

Re: Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game (DAY 1)
A New Threat
Ignore the doofus talking in the video and watch 5:40 through 7:25 (game spoilers)
Things are worse out there than any of us ever imagined. We have a functional water chip now, and it's a great relief to be through that crisis. However, it seems something far more concerning has come to the attention of the overseer. It was so severe that he was forced to send our champion back out into that hell to deal with it alone. He is tight-lipped as ever about what's going on, but I was able to sneak a word with our hero before their departure. Apparently there are swarms of... things roaming the wasteland. They are human-like, but colored green with massive boils and ruined teeth. They are huge, standing as high as ten feet tall, and they are intelligent enough to use weapons. It's like something from a nightmare. I'd imagine the overseer is afraid these creatures are going to find the vault, and if that happens we can only assume the worst.
It sounds like it's become common knowledge on the outside too. They told me about a terrible melee that erupted between four people, all suspected of being connected to these weird mutations. One of them was left dead, and by the sounds of it he was innocent. It's a rancid world.

Re: Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game (PHASE 0)
The water chip is on the way
We're very fortunate that Jacoren made the decision he did. Rumors are buzzing around the vault that a replacement water chip has been located, and our hero will return very soon to secure our salvation. This could have gone so much worse. I wonder what they found out there? They're going to have an incredible story to tell. I am so eager to know what we've been missing down here for the last three generations. I wish my grandfather were still here to see this moment. He would have died happy knowing something about the world outside that he'd only barely gotten to know before finding himself here.
It is Day 1. You have 24 hours to lynch somebody. You must vote in the poll. Votes in the thread are encouraged.

The Casino
If you want to play the slots, I will be using this website: Slots
~ All slots available are "Rise of Merlin". 1 coin = 1 bottlecap. You may review the site if you want to see how the slots work regarding the use of credits and playing lines. I am the only one who can officially run you through a game though, so you'll have to PM me with your desired bet information.
If you want to play Blackjack, I will be using this website: Blackjack
~ Again, you can tool around with the site if you want to see how it works. I will be controlling everything though. If you choose to play Blackjack, please try to at least be around for a short period so that we can get through it. Multiple PMs will be required.
If you want to bet on a mole rat fight, I will tell you who is scheduled to fight that day and how the Casino sets the odds for each combatant (which will dictate payout). Just choose a fighter and place a bet.

Re: Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game (PRE-GAME)
The overseer has made his choice. The one chosen will have to depart the vault as soon as possible to find a solution. Keep them in your prayers every day; we cannot survive if they fail. I hope they're watching every training video in storage to prepare for this.
Phase 0 begins now, and it will last approximately 23 hours and 16 minutes until 5:00 PM EST tomorrow. I may extend this if I don't feel enough players have checked in. I need to know you're here and aware of the game.

Re: Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game (PRE-GAME)
Total Nuclear Devastation
It's remarkable sometimes how well human civilization has come to know itself. We all suspected that eventually we'd bite off more than we could chew from this world, and we would become our own destruction. We weren't entirely sure how or when it would happen, but there was always at least a faint understanding that it was inevitable. How can creatures with such volatile nature and history as ours survive once the resources ran thin? In October of 2077, we had our answer: they cannot survive. The world was essentially wiped clean of whatever civilization stood before it, cinders and ash replacing sprawling metropolises, and irradiated air and water ensuring it could scarcely return any time soon. I'm not sure we deserved better.
A few of us who saw it coming took measures to prepare ourselves for the eventual disaster. We constructed massive underground vaults, designed to house select families who could one day emerge into the remaining wasteland to begin our way of life anew. Vault 13 was one such refuge, buried deep in the Sierra Nevada mountains of south-central California. We have persisted here for 84 years, generation after generation, waiting for our time to rejoin the world. As it happened though, no plan is perfect: our water chip responsible for all water sustenance throughout the complex has failed. We are forced to send someone out into the unknown hells above to retrieve a replacement. Jacoren, our overseer, has devised a means of selecting the right person for the job. To be honest with you, I hope it isn't me. I am not cut out for the world outside. God only knows what has happened out there over the last century.

Re: Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game (PRE-GAME)
RULES
~ Role claiming and info-dumping will be illegal in this game. It is necessary for the functionality of a role-laden open setup. I'm not incorporating a soup kill.
~ Role HINTING is also prohibited. In my eyes this is hardly different from role claiming. If you are uncertain whether you're able to say something, ask me privately first.
~ It will be illegal to claim an alignment in this game -- any alignment regardless of whether it's true or false. An exception is that all players regardless of alignment may claim to be civilians/wastelanders (or townies, villagers, or whatever). Players may not claim to be mafia/supermutant-aligned or independent.
~ Let's just go ahead and reveal nothing at all pertaining to anything you do or anything you are not explicitly privileged to within this game thread. That applies to all night actions, all items, all bottlecaps, all purchases, all gambles, etc. You may not reveal what items do either.
~ All members of the winning faction will be declared winners, dead or alive.
Additional Rules and Notes:
1. The most important rule is to always remember that we are playing a game together on an Internet forum. Be kind and considerate as you are also being competitive, and be mindful of how your words might be received by others beyond the scope of a Mafia game.
2. Do not engage in behind the scenes chat (BTSC) with other player(s) unless your role gives you the explicit right to do so.
3. You may not edit or delete any posts in the game thread.
4. You may target yourself with night actions unless otherwise stated.
5. You may target the same player on consecutive nights unless otherwise stated.
6. juliets is your Facilitator for this game. She's the best. If you're getting irritated, frustrated, or pissed off, then I encourage you to send her a private message. She'll talk through it with you. She'll keep an eye on the game as play proceeds as well.
7. If you're dead, then please do not post anything remotely on-topic in the game thread. If you want to make an off-hand and off-topic comment, use this dead-read color. Please do not abuse this privilege by posting frequently. You're dead.
8. The same goes for non-players, who should use this non-player-blue color. Keep it off-topic.
9. Votes can be changed at will.
10. Day phases will last approximately 24 hours and night phases will last approximately 24 hours. I will adhere to this as strictly as possible, but if life forces me to make adjustments then I will do so.
11. All roles will be revealed to the degree I deem appropriate when players are either lynched or killed.
12. I will use this font. You can use it too if you want. Just don't impersonate the host.

WASTELANDERS
win by eliminating the Super Mutants
The Vault Dweller
You drew the short straw, and have been sent out of the only home you’ve ever known into the wasteland to find a replacement water chip. You have no idea what you’ll find out there, but if you don’t hurry – your family and friends will not survive.
Before the end of Phase 0, you must choose one tag skill among the following three: combat, stealth, and speech. During each ensuing night phase, you will be granted a one-time use ability related to your tag skill. Each progressive night represents a “level up” in which you'll be able to improve a skill again (any of the three).
The Vault Dweller begins the game with zero bottlecaps.
Jacoren
As overseer, the well-being of Vault 13 is your responsibility, and you’ll do whatever you have to do to protect the community – even if it means making difficult decisions.
During each night phase, you may select a player. That player’s role will not function that night.
Jacoren begins the game with zero bottlecaps.
Tandi
You're a naïve kid, having spent your entire life to this point confined to the borders of the tiny Shady Sands settlement. You want nothing more than to get out of the village and explore the wasteland, but your father forbids it. All you can do is talk with the travelers who visit the town and learn about the outside world from their stories.
During each night phase, you may submit a message to the host. It will be posted publicly at the start of each following day phase. You may not reveal your identity in this message.
Killian Darkwater
*secrets...*
Ian
As a former guard for the Crimson Caravan, you have a lot of experience traveling the wastes. You can be an invaluable asset and friend, but holy hell are you a terrible shot sometimes.
Each vote you place will be worth two, but the second vote may not necessarily end up where you intended. The first vote will always work correctly. The second vote will have a 35% chance of landing on the player for whom your intended vote voted for. For example: you vote for Player A, and Player A votes for Player B. Your first vote will surely land on Player A. Your second vote has a 65% chance of landing on Player A and a 35% chance of landing on Player B. The usage of this second vote is not optional, but it will not be in effect during any final elimination phase (wherein the results of a lynch may dictate which faction is declared the winner of the game).
Harold
You've been around since the time of the war, seen so much suffering and death, seen yourself become a horrifying ghoulish shade, and yet you have never lost your charm. You're a storyteller, and you have information which makes you a valuable member of the Hub old town community.
Three during the game during any separate night phases, you may select a player. You will be told who that player targeted that night if anyone.
Twice during the game during any separate night phases, you may select a player. You will be told who targeted that player that night if anyone. You may not use both of these abilities during any single night phase.
Tycho
You're a battle-hardened survivalist associated with the Desert Rangers, a faction from the southeast Mojave wastes. You do the best you can to keep the peace in a place where trust and good will are sorely in deficit, and it's all you can do to keep yourself alive -- let alone the helpless bastards you want to protect.
Thanks to the gas mask you carry on your person at all times, you are immune to the effects of radiation.
Three times during the game during any separate night phases, you may select a player. That player will be immune to all night actions and also unable to use any night actions.
Nicole
As the founder and leader of the Followers of the Apocalypse, you are a humanitarian first, defender second, and preacher never. The chief charge of your faction is to aid those in need across the Californian wastes without judgment or condition, and to preserve old knowledge which may prevent any recurrence of the great war which destroyed civilization.
During each night phase, you may select a player. That player will be protected from one vote during the following day phase (their total votes received will be reduced by one).
Laura
You're a Follower disguised among the Children of the Cathedral as a spy. Your task is to acquire knowledge of what happens behind the closed doors of the Cathedral facility and within that mysterious organization.
During each night phase, you may submit a message to the host which will be transmitted to Nicole. You may not reveal your identity in this message, as if it is intercepted your cover will be blown.
Twice during the game during any separate night phases, you may select a player. You will be told whether or not that player is aligned with the Supermutants.
Rhombus
You lead the Brotherhood of Steel paladins with honor and dignity... often way too much of both. Most of your troops think you're an asshole, and they're probably right. You have an unhealthy attachment to your power armor too. Despite your less pleasant traits, you're a hell of a fighter. That's obvious to anyone unfortunate enough to find your bad side.
If you are night killed, your killer will be unable to utilize his or her role during the following two night phases.
If you are lynched, half of the people who voted for you (rounded up, chosen at random) will be unable to use their roles during the following night phase.
General Maxson
You're the man in charge at the Brotherhood of Steel compound. You command immense respect from the scribes and paladins underneath you, and though your word isn't "law", it might as well be. You have seen a lot in your long life, and you will do whatever you feel you must to preserve humanity's legacy.
During each night phase, you may select any two players not including yourself. Those two players will form a temporary team, able to engage in BTSC during the following day phase. They will use their player identities and not their role identities for this purpose, and all game rules pertaining to information revealing will still apply within that BTSC.
SUPERMUTANTS
share BTSC and kill nightly
win by neutralizing the Wastelanders
The Master
*secrets...*
Lou Tenant
You are the right hand to The Master and one of the most intelligent supermutants ever to evolve. You are responsible for all supermutant forces and technology at the conversion facility. You are fully subscribed to The Master's philosophy of evolutionary superiority, and take special pleasure in every weak human you see dipped into your vats of forced evolutionary virus (FEV).
Once during the game during Phase 0 (no later, if you do not submit the action on time it will be wasted), you may select a player to apprehend and dip. That player will undergo the process of mutation in three stages:
Stage 1: During the day phase following being dipped (Day 1), the player will experience a huge increase in physical size and strength. He or she will be immune to two votes in the poll that day.
Stage 2: During the night phase following being dipped (Night 1), the player will lose command of their emotional and rational faculties, becoming wild and enraged. His or her night action will target randomly, unbeknownst to him or her.
Stage 3: At the start of the day phase following Stage 2 (Day 2), the player will have fully transformed into a supermutant. He or she will be ready to serve The Master as a member of your faction included in your BTSC. That player's original abilities will not be retained.
Note: If Harold is dipped, it will have no effect on him. You will be able to use the ability again on Night 1 and all stages will advance one cycle, but the eventual supermutant's vote will count as zero in all polls.
Separately, during each night phase you may select a player. That player's role will not function that night.
INDEPENDENTS
Gizmo
You run the casino at Junktown, and you'd very much like to run the rest of Junktown too. You've been feuding with Killian for years, and you're more than ready to finally be rid of that tight-ass prick.
You are in charge of the casino. During each day phase, players may contact you anonymously through the host to participate in your casino games. If you die, the casino will no longer be in operation.
If Killian dies and you are still alive, you will take control over the Darkwaters store.
*secrets...*
=================================================================================================================================================================
Bottlecaps
All players will begin the game with bottlecaps. The amount will vary per player within a restricted randomized formula.
Darkwaters Store
Each player in the game will begin with a single piece of equipment, determined at random. The item will have some specific function which will be described to you when you receive it. You may either keep the item for yourself, or use it for bartering at the Darkwaters Store. Players may make offers to the proprietor of the store (either Killian or Gizmo) anonymously via the host at any point during the game which may then be accepted or rejected. Both equipment and bottlecaps may be utilized for bartering. The proprietor may restock the store while it is in operation by spending bottlecaps. A public ledger will log all Darkwater Store transactions (equipment and caps exchanged, but not identities of customers).
Casino
Gizmo runs the casino. All players may take their chances at the games on offer here. They include: slots, blackjack, and mole rat fights. All bets are final. The casino has a finite amount of bottlecaps, and Gizmo doesn't take kindly to miscreants making off with too much cash. Be warned.

CHARACTERSWASTELANDERS
win by eliminating the Super Mutants

The Master

=================================================================================================================================================================
Be warned.
