Turnip Head wrote:Yeah Bubbles' response felt kinda canned. But I don't know her well enough to say if she'd normally react like that.
Yeah, I guess my point is that her reaction is too normal...like, she's trying very hard to be "normal adorable TinyBubbles", when the reaction to the kind of shit I was saying should (I think) have pushed her to react in a more MP-like way (love you, MP!)....ya know? Like, the whole problem I'm having is that her responses seem to be playing hard on the "But TinyBubbles always gets accused for these types of posts and has never been bad" story that other players have been pushing, which just provides easy cover for Tiny to post in the same robotic cutsey way and avoid suspicion.... .so I made an attempt to make the type of accusation that she probably wouldn't have faced before (because people aren't usually so bitchy/passive aggressive in their accusations towards her :p ) in an attempt to draw a different kind of response out of her.....and despite the fact that the tone and substance of my most recent post were purposefully and substantially more pointed and personal, her response read to me as EXACTLY the same amount of emotionally charged as her previous posts.
So either TinyBubbles is an android/person who is very, very adept at keeping emotions out of mafia (which is obviously not entirely out of the question, but IS contrary to her own previous statements), OR TinyBubbles is working really hard to play according to her usual meta, and that sort of concerted effort to appear "normal" and not rock the boat is something I associate very much with baddies. Does that make any kind of sense?? :omg:
It's a "case" with holes all over it, but it's one that I'm willing to pursue. :noble:
ok... i read over the last post you made and this one, i am kind of shocked, if you want to accuse me of being mafia thats one thing, but why say im an android or robot person. what the fuck. i am not an android, i have nothing against anyone here, and if i seem insincere or calculated or whatever bullshit terms you want to describe its YOUR OWN INTERPRETATION because the truth is i havent lied once, not in any game yet. i dont like argumetns, and im meeting a lot of you for the first time through these games so i dont want to just start arguing for the sake of winning a game. if you dont want to be friends thats cool, i respect your decision, im not here to be liked, but if you say things that are personally offensive like im an android it makes me wonder what i am doing here, whats the point of playing, i dont have that much free time and dont want to waste it on trying to convince you or anyone or who i am as a person.

Lulz. There's loads of questions/comments/suspicions about you littered throughout the past few days. Go read. Find them. Answer them. Respond to them. Stop trying to make everyone bring the game to you.

BUT! Because I am a very kind and accommodating person, here is a question for you:
Why is your innocent act so unconvincing?

maybe because im not acting ? the game is based on suspicions so i get why you would think im faking, but im not. every single game ive played ive been a good guy, and yet every time im suspected heavily and usually lynched. im starting to think i stand out for all the wrong reasons and am making myself an easy target of myself, that maybe i SHOULD start acting for the sake of being part of it :/
Are we expected to believe that, even though you are "somewhat caught up" you are nonetheless baffled by the possibility of a lynch result being manipulated? Even with the plethora of vote manip powers and secrets floating around this game?

it has never happened before, i wanted to be sure it wasnt a mistake.
How do you feel about Roxy's attempt to absolve you/cover for you by suggesting that the hosts wouldn't trust you with a Big Role?
i feel sad about it, but its their game.

and fair point about not getting others to bring the game to me. i know you will think im acting again, but i said that because i thought the thread moves fast and people would have different questions by the time i posted.

I think some baddies had other ideas tonight. unfurl literally had 0 votes in the poll, so someone must have really wanted to save you.

Speaking of, how nice to you to drop in moments after you aren't lynched after having been gone for 3/4 of Day 4!

:suspish:

Im sorry, i was working overtime had no computer access! i wanted to come back before poll closed ,but didnt get time ><

and whoever saved me, you have my thanks, nutella was right the mods didnt make a mistake. i kind of dont expect to live another night though, 10 votes man... sheeeesh. and RIP unfurl, you didn't deserve to die

my biggest suspect right now is Devin, based on his voting patterns and also the vagueness of his posts, which MP made a good case on. good vibes on MP btw, nothing out of the ordinary in his posts, sounds like he's normal MP baddie hunting. feeling good about JJJ, Ricochet, Roxy, timmer, neutral about metalmarsh,. metalmarsh is hard to read though, i dont think i recall him being bad in a previous game, so cant compare. somewhat annoyed/suspicious about disgruntledporcupine, feel like his vote on me was bandwagony, his lack of posts/explanations isnt very encouraging either (i know, im one to talk). golden suspected rey was bad and for that reason, i also think so since i believe golden's usually right about his reads. as for boom, i was bandwagoning on him with the first vote , second vote was based on some points made by JJJ, his arguments against golden sounded weak and disingenuous. i havent played with him before though so its hard to tell

quick question: is there a pic of the last poll?

and GUYS im not being nonchalant or whatever you think, canucklehead you're wrong im not trying to fly under the radar of the whole golden thing, on the contrary im trying to post more cause i dont want my participation score to drop more. i am admittedly behind on the suspicious posts so thats why i havent been answering them as youd expect, really its just the tone of the posts that is putting me off i hate getting into arguments, it just fucking feels horrible and i get enough of that in real life. i'm not trying to create drama , want to keep it to the point, but its already 4am and im lagging behind, hopefully tomorrow i'll have something more constructive to say. please bare with me i am trying to be a part of it.

rip golden, and happy birthday black rock!
also canucklehead what concerns? if you mean my comment about being emotionally invested, it's based not only on this game but every game since the first, i felt like golden was always targeted for being talkative and often ended up in(what seemed to be) arguments, i was uncomfortable. i dont know what else to tell you, the amount of posts a person makes doesnt relate directly to how affected they are by the game, everyone has different limits and different expectations.

i don't think golden is a baddie, i think he wants to cut his losses before he goes on holiday soon, and not have this lingering over his head. granted the self vote looks suspicious but i dont believe golden would use it as a tactic, he's always defended himself through his words before.

what's the case against boom? is there a way to read all his posts together?

damn it, i just can't vote golden again. i don't care if he's a baddie or not, it feels like rejecting a friend. he's totally right about him and other talkative players like MP and epi getting heat just for talking, rather than for the content of their posts. it isn't right, and the game would be dead in the water without their input, i don't think anyone should be punished for posting a lot, even though it obviously makes them a bigger target.

hope you have a good trip golden! i wont vote you out though!!!
and i know my own arguments are flipping back and forth but thats what happens when you get emotionally invested in a game like this ><

I don't think this reflects poorly on Golden, but I understand why S~V~S is pursuing this angle.
That's fair enough; I understand why she feels the way she does as well. I just am trying to help her see it from another perspective, since Golden's posts have just been oozing sincerity to me, and I feel he is being over scrutinized over other players.

golden always seems to attract a lot of enmity in every game, i feel like it's because he's just a good player that can "play" at mafia/civ equally well, better than most. it's ironically kind of a disadvantage, he has to work at convincing people of his civ ness more than most, i remember reading some time ago he should be lynched early just to be safe, which isn't fair.
