I guess I’ll switch to speedchuck for preservation. I’m vanilla, if that information comes in handy after I’m gone. I think my question for Neverwhere had merit, make sure she answers it.

The people voting me:
Mac does this all the time. He literally wakes up every morning, looks in the mirror, and says “Sloonei is mafia” five times before breakfast. I haven’t read him this game, so I can’t say much beyond that.
Indiglo kinda seemed to want me to be bad or to look bad in our brief exchange earlier. I wasn’t thrilled by it, but that’s all I really have of her at all in this game. I know there’s more.
Dizzy seems alright.
I have no idea what Owner’s deal is. I questioned the legitimacy of her vote earlier but she hasn’t been here to answer. I’d encourage people to hold her feet to the fire tomorrow, I guess. Because I’m vindictive.

As to the names I listed, like I said, I went through Soneji's post history, and compared it with my personal reads list. I examined who Soneji had avoided in thread, and then took out the names of people I had a strong enough town read on, leaving me with a list of people I found most suspicious post Soneji lynch.

I was most torn on Epi because I had a slight town read on him, but not strong enough to leave him off my official at the time list of possible Soneji teammates.

I'm still not seeing how you arrived at your conclusion. Are "the players that soneji avoided" suspicious, or are they town reads? Are these players suspicious because they avoided him as well? Why would avoidance be the telltale sign or partnership?

I clearly said that I was suspicious of those people being possible teammates with Soneji.

I don't care if you agree with what I said or my thinking at the time, but I was very clear that I thought there could be possible Soneji teammates (possible mafia members) in that group.

If soneji and speedchuck are partners, speedchuck would probably have a heightened awareness of his presence. However, it's also possible that soneji had been absent from BTSC and so speedchuck took that to be absence from the game in general, not realizing that he had posted in the thread. I could go either way here and there isn't really evidence for one over the other. I think the most telling thing is that speedchuck was indicating a particular focus on soneji as a presence in this game, if not specifically aware of his participation.

You're explaining that now. You alluded to it.

I think you're interpreting this as me condemning voting no-shows? I wasn't doing that. Voting no-shows is totally cool with me. Voting no-show for Soneji in those other games is totally cool too. But, like you said, he wasn't a no-show in this game. So I didn't vote for him because I was excited to play with him.

Does that clear things up at all? It's hard to say, because your post almost reads like a non-sequiter. Me voting a no-show has nothing to do with Soneji because he had posts.

This does not clear things up. When you mentioned no-show soneji, you seemed to be under the impression that he was a no-show here. But he wasn't. You didn't realize this until later. You didn't vote for him despite having only one thing to say about his participation in the game, which was "That's pretty bad actually."

I'm missing 90% of the context of this game and I am fully aware that there's much more to this dialogue than what I'm looking at here, but these are wonky looking posts from Mr Chuck.

This is a continuation of my interactive reads exercise, but it also functions as a nice follow-up to my questions for indiglo:

Rej mentions Soneji 0 times. But as I noted at the beginning of my reads, 2 out of soneji's 5 points were directed at Rej in particular. indiglo also does not mention Rej in her list. There's probably a reason for that which I simply haven't seen, but it's something I'm noticing now in my limited perspective. I want to make note of it.

Neverwhere had nothing to say about soneji (neither did LC or Mac during Day 1, so I skipped them as well), but of her 3 posts this one catches my eye. In the still-ongoing Arrowverse game, we caught a bad guy (Cooler) on Day 1 because he had made very few posts for most of the day, but then picked out one seemingly insignificant moment in the game to question and throw suspicion on. Neverwhere isn't shading Epi here, but it looks odd to me that Neverwhere has said nothing else on topic but chose to highlight this isolated moment to be her kind-of-but-not-really point of entry to the game. Why?

Tons of other mentions that are all part of an ongoing discussion about the wagons. Dizzy is consistently anti-Soneji in a way that looks natural and has a sense of progression to it. Dizzy looks very good. Would not lynch.

Clearly nobody was going to vote with me, and there was a three way tie that I did not care for. I was sus of you, sure, but it's day 1, there's only so strong a sus can be.

They were tied when I started that post, 2 v 2 v 2. With literally a minute before EOD it's not like there was time to check what had actually happened in the linki. Actually I changed my vote before posting to make sure I made it before the poll closed and it jumped from 2 to 4 votes, but again didn't have time to check who had voted or anything.

Kyle is a player who generally takes time to ease into a game and is (generally) not somebody I'm ever interested in d1. I feel relatively good about my ability to read him as the game progresses. Daisy was absentee and had some questionable voting patterns associated with her. Soneji was the only one of the three with actual reasons to be sus.

It'd be pretty fitting thematically if they're predators, as predators are framed as turning savage naturally in the film.

One of my glimpses at the thread showed me Rej claiming miller. The context of this exchange suggests that Dyslexicon made the same claim. Some quick digging tells me that's the case. Great work, Detective Sloon. Soneji vouching for both of them simultaneously can be seen as a soft defense of one of them. It is difficult to determine which one would be more likely from this moment alone.

Predators are the ones being framed and are only on the side of the protagonist's yes.

As for the second part, if there was some split town mechanic this would usually be known to all townies and there is nothing like that in my role PM. Normally such things are a versus mechanic.

I'm pretty sure he is just making a joke based on the alternate name of scum/mafia being wolves.

I'm again split on this. Is this Soneji stepping in to protect his teammate Rej from going down an unwanted rabbit hole? Or is he intervening here because he sees an opportunity to spin something against civilian Rej? Or is he defending another player in this exchange? Or is this all nothing? I don't know. This mega-post is really the only thing Soneji offered in terms of interactions. My general assessment is that he was possibly sticking up for one of the miller claims, and 2/5 of his remarks here were addressed to Rej, the first of the miller claims. But I'm not sure either of them look bad. I have to wonder whether either of the exchanges would be necessary at all if they shared BTSC.
