I've also come to love restrictions on info dumping thanks to the Syndicate. It makes power roles so much more personal and strategic.

My favorite mechanic that I want to try out is the "player writes Night posts for the host" mechanic that was used in Bullets over Broadway. I tried using it in the RYM game I just modded (Community), but the player who had the role never used it. I also really like inventors, or any mechanic that allows for a Wild Card time of thing where any player can gain a slight advantage at any time. There can potentially be a lot of strategy involved in this and it's fun to see how players use their limited abilities.
