I’m going to be second guessing myself on everyone in this game. Those I read as town are mostly only so because of one or two small details. Because that’s the best I have to go on.

So Made: he has had 2 almost-lynches. Comes out with this naive story about not knowing what a stump is or what his role does.

The bottom line is that tree stump doesn't sound likely to be a scum role (what use would a scum who can talk after death be? Nobody's going to listen to them) and I think Made is genuinely a tree stump for two reasons:

1) He mixed up tree stump and immortality, I think if he was given tree stump as a fakeclaim he'd claim it correctly the first time rather than claiming "I'm immortal".

2) He has some pretty extensive softing of his role, including going to the extent of finding a Marvel character that had a similar ability to post as a reaction gif. This was done all the way from Day 1. I don't think that he'd go to such extent to establish a fake softclaim as scum.

I tend to agree with this assessment and it’s this detail that makes me want to townread Made regardless of what he says or does.

Epi is only town because of the implication that the day vig is a town role. One would think that *more* likely if only because of the assumption of a mafia poisoner AND a day vig, without us seeing inclination of another town killing ability. Could be that our town vig has died already, who the duck knows.
The other thing is Epi’s casing of MR early on D2, and he continued that thread into day 3. If that’s a teammate distance, it’s a risky one. Unless he’s just doing it for towncred. He hasn’t made any other compelling cases, so this is his legacy. Not out of his scum range for sure, but it is a slight hang up for me overtly calling him scum.

Tutuu has been a strong presence, pushing many different names at different times. Her confidence in the lynch being a slam dunk between Koba and Syn isn’t a great look unless Bo is bad. Though the vote didn’t end there, so meh.
The only thing holding me back from outright scumreading her is that MR visited her N1. Unless there are two factions, the first thing a partner does is target his partner? I don’t know what role that would be, but probability says that type of role isn’t in play. But it’s not ironclad

What’s bothering me about this game is the unverifiable claims, and my being in the dark in everything. I’m- for all intents and purposes- vanilla this game, and when someone offers new info, I feel like the early native Americans being promised blankets and land by early English settlers, and instead I receive disease and lose my home.

Im still gonna do what I can to solve, but damn do I feel like a 3 legged dog

I find it pretty hard to believe we haven't found scum in a multi-ball until yesterday. Even if scum didn't know it, Scum would of flipped 112 far earlier if that were the case imo

Epi’s not cleared. Just his dayvig. It’s all whether or not you think that is town aligned.

He made a good case against MR though, so I can’t exactly say he hasn’t done anything town in this game, but it’s minimal in a spot where MR could have very well already gone down anyway

i think what i called abrasiveness in him is usually a wolf trait but i don't think it's wolfy here. not sure i can really elaborate on that, but just that he's been very consistently posting with attitude in every post i've read makes me like him more somehow. like it doesn't feel like an act.

as far as solvey stuff from rondo, i don't really have anything in mind, but i've melded with some posts and insights iirc and he seems to be actually contributing better than others?

like i'm not saying he can't be wolf but i don't understand fully why he's your first choice

Of course.

The thing about 112 is that when she's on her game she is a unique player archetype I struggle to definitively read, despite having played with her for so many years. I could definitely read her pre-2019 or so, but since her Champs experience I've often struggled - unless she's phoning it in, of course, which happened occasionally in CDC games.

My default setting is to scumread her. Partially this is me just being very reluctant to let myself be fooled by her, partially it's the erratic behaviour she can exhibit as town/mimic as scum. I need to look for reasons to call her town, not the other way around. So far this game we've not interacted in the thread at the same time much; both of us have had long spurts of not being present. So it's been difficult to get any sort of accurate read and I've largely avoided doing so and focused instead on what's in front of me when I'm here.

I will go out on a limb and again GTH call her town. On a big picture level, her limpness in the game would point to her being scum who just doesn't have the time/inclination to put in work. As town she should find it easier to throw out some snap reads without a care in the world. But that's too easily explained away by 'irl stuff' (which I might be overly sympathetic to right now tbh) and when reading her individual posts I can't see anything in particular I want to point out and call scummy. I don't sense what I think is her usual scum agenda of making herself come across as erratic and pure. If she's on a team with others I don't see what she's doing to help them.

It's still very possible she's scum and just sort of coasting by because she's never faced any particularly hot heat, but I think she is probably town who doesn't have the time or energy to put in.

Nanook is probably town. There was no discomfort in dropping the gimmick and his case on Epi felt too nuanced to come from town. Not that Nanook isn't a good scum who can fake townie things, but that just felt like it was coming from a perspective that's harder to fake.

Epi is probably town anyway though. Dayvig thing.

I've never seen tutuu wolf and I'm wary of her because of that. She was super whiteknighty in D1 and that pinged me, but her explanations for why she townreads everyone's scumreads make sense and are takes I tend to share. Her gang of six is pretty different to eveyrone else's and scum tend to include a usual suspect or two so they have room to help push a consensus wagon if they want to. So that feels town to me. But then Mac post his 'tutuu is scary' post and now I don't know.

Any other thoughts I had whilst reading have escaped me.

But I think I would like to talk about epi. As far as I remember he was only concerned with koba at the beginning of this phase and slanked throughout the game. I don't have much epi meta, what do you think about him?
Probably town for raisins, though we'll see if that holds water as the game progresses.

But also I don't sense any...discomfort from him when he pops in and out of the thread. His presence is minimal (that's standard for him these days as far as I remember; he has family and work limiting his time I think) but he doesn't seem to be forcing anything. He's poked and prodded a bit in typical Epi style. I don't think he's found a bite he's willing to hang on to yet but it feels like he's searching for one. So by general comfort level vis a vis his presence level I think he's probably town.

Caveat 1: we're never in the thread a the same time and I'm only really skimming his posts upon catch up.

Caveat 2: I think I've incorrectly read Epi's alignment every time I've played with him. Last time was...Bike Mafia I think? I made a big deal about feeling good about finally reading him correctly as town and he flipped scum iirc.

So basically don't ask me, and maybe Nanook is right after all. But yeah, I'd say town here.

Especially since he's hinted at 2 roles and either the mafia is hella incompetent or blind in role hunting since if I picked up on it so should they.

Alternatively, his day kill vig shot is the 3p ability and he just hasn’t met his conditions yet.

It seems like the only reason anyone is even viewing Epi as town is mech balance assumptions that mafia wouldn’t have that day vig.

I did not disagree with mac, I toyed with mac in an effort to be read as town without giving away I had powers early. I went against Alison because they directly contradicted Mac and played exactly into the fact mac called that alison would scum read me when he town read me. I have taken a step back since Alison scum read me since I figured I would die and there are enough people here to win for me. (aka too many people in the game for me to really go into ISO's)

If poison is scum, I’m less inclined to believe Bo is scum, based on end of day 3. Unless MR is a better role. Poison was nonchalant about the MR/Bo wagon, though she favored bo dying more.

All I can come up with is
1) this nuke ability supercedes everyone affected
2) I was jailkept or something
3) poison is just straight up lying
explain your first point

If x number of people are affected by a role blocking nuke, that supersedes all abilities those players are trying to do, even reflects and other blocks

Obviously not everyone was affected, so maybe it just has a limited range

It’s too late for me to think about this mech stuff
