Thanks for viewing, Rico! Your presence was hugely welcomed!
And thanks juliets for keeping me company. I'm glad you never had to use your MoD stick on people!

Hah thanks man. I don't think this by any means replaces standard mafia games. It's just like going to Denny's and NOT ordering an entire breakfast for once.DharmaHelper wrote:Seriously, hats off to Scotty for putting this together. A long time ago, a player named Map put together a LMS game based on Battle Royale and Long Con said it would make standard mafia games go the way of the dinosaur. I think this game is proof of that.
Yeah maybe notDharmaHelper wrote:I dunno if Ponderosa should be telling each other who they voted for.
I'll list all those out after the game.DharmaHelper wrote:I wouldn't mind a chart of "Found Idols/Used Idols Per Person".Scotty wrote:I agree. She was left in the game.
It is what it is.
Quin actually didn't use his role to the full advantage either. There were times in the early rubbings that he instead worked to better the tribe. I remember in like day 6-7 he told his BTSC partners not only his Rolex but where the possible idols were- so DF went looking in one location and Golden went looking in another, while Quin stoked the fire. That shows loyalty in his partners and faith that they wouldn't blindside him.

In Survivor, after each jury member asks a question, they all secretly vote and it's done. Though you'll hear in Ponderosa videos of the people that will not vote in the endDharmaHelper wrote:I dunno about survivor, but in Big Brother the jury gets 1 night to talk out among themselves who might deserve the votes
No, Quin had trouble with the digging portion of yesterday's challenge so I made fun of him in my post. Someone in Ponderosa took that to mean he ate the chicken.juliets wrote:I think each of them has reasons why they would make a good winner. I hope it is a close vote.DharmaHelper wrote:If Opt loses to Quin or Sorsha it will have been a robbery.
And wow Lorab ate the chicken? I thought Scotty said Quin ate it, I must have misunderstood. Lorab ate it for a good reason though if what she says is true.
Here's where this game and the real game slightly differ:Ricochet wrote:Do real life jury members discuss their vote option openly? I think this shouldn't be allowed in Ponderosa. It could be so easy to rally up or influence another's vote.
It would appear that maybe she started with the intention of putting it on Quin to see if Opt would want to vote her.juliets wrote:Glad to see Quin is fighting back against Lorab. So odd that she thinks people don't see that Eloh did the poisoning. Also odd that she's attacking if she and Sorsha want Quin to do something, namely vote Opt.
Opt is in a bad spot for that because if she were to jump ship now and vote Quin, she will have alienated a ton of people on the juryScotty wrote:Quin stated in BTSC several times that he'd rather have competitors who showed up to play sitting in the end. I think he wants Opt there next to himDharmaHelper wrote:Opt deserves to win, but the other 3 probably think that's the best reason not to take her.

But Sorsha is in, not EloDharmaHelper wrote:I think SVS is right in that LoRab is angling to get people against Quin...
Though the better play would be "Hey Eloh, hey Opt, Mamana for life lets all 3 vote for Quin"
It's fairly obvious that Elo poisoned them, so I'm not even sure what the hang up is.DharmaHelper wrote:I have to agree with the Ponderosians that LoRabs hangup on this poison shctick might sink her game
These mazes...are taking a while. And frustrating a lot of people, including myselfDharmaHelper wrote:It looks like the puzzles could decide it, not too much of a lead on anybody coming out of the first half.
Plus Mp was MIA.DharmaHelper wrote:I would have liked to have played with MP and Epi and LC. Shame they all ended up on the opposite sides of the island as me.
Yesjuliets wrote:Scotty, the Ponderosa thread will still be open for the jury to talk about the answers they are getting from the players, right?
Lol sure. You can be Sia, who unceremoniously walked up on stage for no reason during Kao Rong's season reunionDharmaHelper wrote:Are we going to be in the studio audience for the finale?
Opt said she'd take him. Who knows who else...Sorsha maybe?Ricochet wrote:Oh man why did they not blindside LoRab? Bigly waste of an opportunity.
Who is Quin even aligned with anymore?
Haven't seen a lot. The participants are basically dead.juliets wrote:Anything exciting going on in bts Scotty? The thread is dead.
No one knew that Quin had an idol.DharmaHelper wrote:Wonder how the vote will shake out.
When an idol is used from that tribe it came from, it is reburied. This idol from the Merged tribe keeps getting reburied when it is used.DharmaHelper wrote:If I did have any criticisms of the game it would be that. I have to think it's no small coincidence that the guy whose power shows him where the hidden immunity idols are is the guy with the most hidden immunity idols all game.
(Also, shouldn't we be tapped out on immunity idols? IIRC Real Survivor doesn't have like, five idols.)
If probably play.DharmaHelper wrote:How well received would a Walking Dead LMS game be... hmmmm...
The slight difference in this game is that some players are malaligned with their abilities and are not necessarily looking to play fair. So for someone like, say, the Nurse, their best interest would be to eliminate others that pose a threat to the unity of the tribe in the early goings.DharmaHelper wrote:What I meant was I don't have to worry about being suspected as a mafia, because everyone else is equally as innocent or guilty as I am as far as the game is concerned. But yeah, you do make good points.
Sorsha already used it last phase. She used it on Elo and it brought her thirst and energy down 4.juliets wrote:Oh wait I think scotty told us what it was, wasn't itjuliets wrote:I don't think she's used it and I don't think I know what it is.Ricochet wrote:Did Sorsha use her special item? I'm trying this auto-BTSC today, and already didn't think it through. This will change again tomorrow because I think almost every person will have BTSC.juliets wrote:He doesn't sound that bitter to me but maybe I'm reading him wrong - more surprised that Opt would do that. Scotty, are you going to let them have bts until the end? Should be an interesting outcome. I have no idea who the jury is probably going to vote for now.
Also, I think Quin has a good chance now.
Opt started the ball rolling with Quin. He was pretty paranoid to begin with, and was all for doing what Golden said, but put all his eggs in the basket. She let Sorsha know as well, and she was cool about it.DharmaHelper wrote:Spill Scotty, who flipped?
This is Opts game to lose now, I'd think. What fools they'd be to take Quin now after his dumb ass burnt THREE idols
Yeah sorry about that. The show just got out where I am now on the west coast so it gives me only so much time to finish the host postDharmaHelper wrote:Yikes I thought 2AM EST.

We'll see how all this works out tonight, but maybe it won't be as straightforward as first thought...
Don't know if they planned that far ahead in BTSC yesterday. Without proper BTSC channels tonight, I don't think it will work. Blindsides need to involve coordination.DharmaHelper wrote:Cutting Eloh would be a mistake. if they can get the move on Quin they should take it.
Anything can happen in a few days.DharmaHelper wrote:With Day 13 being the cutoff the window to make a move against Golden might be too small to matter.
