That was the night Marmot used his power so all night actions had to be randomized. Also, while I'm thinking about it I'm not sure if it was this night or another without looking but the 3rd time SVS got haikued was due to a randomization.

Sounds like we had this thing wrapped up pretty handily with Quin 2.0’s role and Sloonei’s Uber powerful first role, let alone my doctor role, which went straight into effect D3 (thanks speed)

Just to think how this game would have been different had LC not been talking with Golden and Juliets about names on Facebook before the game.

I wish I had seen the writing on the wall with the Speedchuck alignment reveal. SVS was being pretty blatant about the possibility of a civ revealer but my stubbornness wouldn’t believe it. Hindsight is always 20 something

Not quite, actually. I didn’t disagree or comment on that because you were saving my skin. I didn’t have a great read on you up until the day of your lynch after a made a lengthy case against you. You and Daisy seemed like such a pair that I had to make a choice that you were either in BTSC cahoots as bad or she gained BTSC with you early on as part of a civ role. For a time I actually thought SHE had the more powerful role of the two of you.

In either case, after I saw how adamant you were in with each other, I figured that would be a shitty play if you both were bad, so I wanted to steer clear about halfway through that day. Didn’t really matter though, cause people weren’t exactly all seeing eye to eye with me around that time, so any defense of you was wasted coming from me IMO

My biggest, and really only fear about being lynched was that I might come back bad after all the work I’d put in as town. It made me realize that scenario probably wasn’t actually in the cards for this game. That’d just be cruel.

i Will say however that Days 2-7 were absolutely nightmare fuel for me. Every lynch I would yell I WANT TO GET OFF MR BONES’S WILD RIDE and nothing would happen and then I’d just harrumph around the town square. I don’t want to ever be on a tribe with 8 other non-town aligned fartmobiles again. I mean, Sloonei and SD were town enough I guess, but I’ve never had so much self doubt. And then when SVS called me out by saying I was disingenuous in my phrases, I felt shocked and I guess extremely burned out. But I kept coming back for more like a recessive spouse in an abusive relationship. I would have been really mad if we didn’t win after putting us through the hellhole that was Bidoof

Oh and of course thank you Golden and juliets for tag teaming and making this game run as smooth as a baby’s asshole. 4 stars! Very inmersive and interesting!

Kyle, I gotta admit: I didn’t suspect you at all until the sprityo kill happened and we were forced down that path. I thought you were legimately behind and struggling to catch up so I felt like shit whenever you’d flash your puppy dog eyes and sigh in the corner when I would call you out. I still wasn’t totally sure it was you until you flipped, even though I doubled down and said I’d be the fallman the next day. You had me going up until the end, so kudos.

INH felt SO bad to me, and it was pissing me off that he had a handful of people vouching for him phase after phase, so that lynch especially felt good when people started going there. And LoRab, even though she felt largely victimized in that situation, (Please play more, we love you), was a prideful lynch because she was at the top of my list since day 2.

I was 95% sure by about day 10 that Sloonei had BTSC at some point with Daisy- it’s the only thing that would have explained his subservience and ambiguity surrounding her. I had no idea if she were good or not, and it was blind faith in Sloonei’s vouching. Even if he was indie lol

As the game wore on, I felt like it was an inevitability that civs would win based on the PoE. And LOL that the whole basis for my argument against Boom was that they missed a kill and the flavor text was a lie. Got em anyway.

We can infer that Dom is the refrigerator at this point. That deductive info has been in thread since Speedchuck was eating Chef Boyardees in diapers. It was only a matter of time before we deduced his role.

He hasn’t used it willy nilly. In many cases, his targets have been big talkers but also have been people that were on the hot seat. Being haiku’d might seem like a curse but in the broad scheme of things, it can be a huge blessing.
I remember it being used on Kyle as recently as 3 days ago when he was one of the prime suspects- we lynched Sloonei instead. In the end, was that who Dom thought was good and wanted to spare him, or was it an advantageous attempt to save his teammate?

Dom’s a smart player, and would know not to put all his eggs in one basket, so he would spread the love a bit to people that are looked at as more broadly viewed as civ as well as covering when he needed to.

I will probably delve into this further pending Kyle’s flip, because depending on if Kyle is the lynch switcher will determine why Dom chose to ignore Kyle for haiku duty yesterday.

kyle, when my neck was on the line, I became as invested as I could in finding baddies. Your strategy here seems to be unsubstantiated claims and shrugs. I think you’re bad, and you’re only putting in the bare minimum here to save yourself.

You seemed nonplussed after the lynch switch yesterday, almost like you knew it would happen, and instead of that lighting a fire under your butt, you’re trying to guilt trip the town into, like, looking elsewhere, man.

I don't really think SVS was even.

I don't know a lot about nijuu, and almost nothing about Jack. I remember DH being LC-friendly.
SVS most definitely revealed Speedchuck on D7. For someone that was widely suspected as being Even, that would be a shitty move on an Even-aligned SVS if Speedchuck were anything but civ. Maaaaybe if she were super sure speed was Strex, but even then..naw. She was not even.

And nijuu? If you recall, nijuu’s civ role was revealed on D12. It’s not a far cry to suppose that Sloonei 1.0 copied SVS’ power and at some point used it on nijuu D12. Which would even further explain why he was so adamant that he didn’t get lynched D15...so maybe he could continually use a literal cop power every other day.

DH is a quandary, but a couple people vouched for him. That he had 2 seemingly vanilla roles also make me think he wasn’t mafia, since this game already seems pro-civ for mafia to have vanilla roles. Unless his roles weren’t vanilla at all, but I dunno. I’m more unsure about DH’s relationships with nutella and LC since I mostly skimmed the majority of your thread. Maybe you could answer that one better than I could.

I don't really think SVS was even.

I don't know a lot about nijuu, and almost nothing about Jack. I remember DH being LC-friendly.

SVS most definitely revealed Speedchuck on D7. For someone that was widely suspected as being Even, that would be a shitty move on an Even-aligned SVS if Speedchuck were anything but civ. Maaaaybe if she were super sure speed was Strex, but even then..naw. She was not even.

And nijuu? If you recall, nijuu’s civ role was revealed on D12. It’s not a far cry to suppose that Sloonei 1.0 copied SVS’ power and at some point used it on nijuu D12. Which would even further explain why he was so adamant that he didn’t get lynched D15...so maybe he could continually use a literal cop power every other day.

If Kyle isn’t bad- which at this point I think he is- then we’ve got some problems, because I don’t feel like going after any of the remaining Pika2’s. I kinda want to just gun for Boomslang, which is annoying since he still has 2 lives. I still feel he is Even regardless of his affiliation with Kyle.

it'd be good to fill this time and space with speculation on who the last baddies are but all of the speculation that's currently being done is being done under the assumption that I'll flip as an Even Steven and is therefore about to be useless.

So I'd suggest/request to anyone who's just bored that they get a head start on speculation regarding other baddie-leftover grouping possibilities?
