That was by far the most frustrating win I’ve ever had as mafia. I think I speak for the rest of my team in that we felt absolutely defeated early on and were ready to throw in the towel. I did not think that was winnable after some unfortunate early mech. I’m not sure we had a good shot of getting out of f5 without forcing Wilgy to vote with us

I’m just exhausted. Thanks for the game, splints, and thanks to my partners for keeping at it. I need to decompress after that one

I'm usually pretty careful and focused on survival. Honestly, the EoD I'd never do as a wolf is pushing people to vote LoRab over Michelle. I can wolfside or bus but I really don't strongly defend my sinking teammates as a wolf. I had a very difficult game as town when I went from townread to permanently PoEd the entire game because I defended a wolf who flipped day 1 and that was strongly in my memory during the wolf rands I've had since returning.

This is good insight. Though when someone says what they’d do/not do as a wolf, I immediately put up my guard, because I don’t think most people are so binary that they only operate one way.

Sorry Scotty but I won't allow revisionist history. Read EoD 1 back again Michelle was safe with 5 minutes left until I appeared and told J3 to trust me and vote Michelle

I read it, but I also see a pattern in defensive posting and lack of wim where Michelle was exactly a dead woman walking. If not that yeet, then surely the one after. Getting a jump on it was a sure fire way to get town cred while you still could.

My reservation is perhaps an optimal strategy would be to save Michelle and then come out swinging the day after, but that’s also risky, and would be less towny imo

i have been going for SVS since day 1 and that read was correct; michelle read as wolf was correct too; my read on ts account was wrong.

everytime I pushed for SVS, everyone ignored me. So since I wanted SVS gone, and there were votes on them already, I was cautious that if i voted, then others would unvote SVS, so instead I voted for the person I am voting for currently, Thunal. which is my biggest ping atm

The idea that you wouldn’t push someone because there were already votes there tells me you didn’t have conviction to begin with
