Re: Zodiac Mafia [NIGHT 2]

I'm torn on Bull's as I said I disliked his votes, but it did draw attention to him and I don't see why if he was mafia he'd do that. Also minus his votes I don't see anything bad with him. He is posting good on topic stuff, and I'm not even gut reading him as bad.
I could be tunneling a bit on Quin. However, I don't see myself voting for him today anyways. Daisy and Epi both sound good to me. Why do you think Wilgy is a civ?

Re: Zodiac Mafia [NIGHT 2]

Okay so some quick thoughts before the night ends. Right know I'm reading Llama as a civ he shouldn't be lynched. After reading everything over Bull's does look better though I still dislike his votes. He isn't a good lynch candidate. I've got a slight ping on Sorsha for her vote, but besides that she is null. A few pings from Nero, but not enough to lynch on keep I'll keep my eye on him.
Wilgy is a slight civ lean, again I wouldn't lynch him today.
I've got a slight mafia ping on Quin. Today I'd like to lynch either Epi or SD as I believe one or more likely both of them are mafia members.

Re: Zodiac Mafia [NIGHT 2]

One of our most active players who was almost certainly a civ was lynched, because Epi voted for them. Epi would then be able to defend himself using the self preservation argument. However, he could have easily voted for SD and tied it that way but, he didn't. He also waited until the very last second to vote, which is suspicious seeing who he voted for.

I think SD and Epi are both mafia members, this explains why Epi didn't vote for her, but for G-Man instead.

Re: Zodiac Mafia [DAY 2]

I voted for SD, I gave my reasoning before it is partly a gut read and partly her own in thread content and her responses to Gman. I'm not really liking the Epi lynch, but I'm not horribly against it either. I found both Sorsha and Bull's reasons for voting pingy.

I'd prefer Daisy over Epi and Nero today. I really don't have a firm grasp on either of them, but I feel more sure that Daisy is bad. G-man made some good points on her and I really disliked her response to his ISO.

Re: Zodiac Mafia [DAY 2]

I don't think Llama's reasoning is right in regards to Nero. While I've never hosted I don't think the hosts would be in a bigger rush to replace a mafia member then a civ.

I've got a slight ping from nero, and I am feeling good about Epi's posts directed at him, but he won't be getting my vote today for a few reasons. I don't like what Llama said about him, as off right know Nero seems like an easy lynch button.

I don't like Daisy's response to G-man's ISO. It came off as very defensive and pingy.

Re: Zodiac Mafia [DAY 2]

@Llama what do you think about Wilgy voting for Epi with you?

Did a quick ISO on Quin.
Quin wrote:Generally I would go for a Day 1 no lynch, but judging by the polls that doesn't seem to be all that popular a choice here. I'll come back with a vote pretty soon, I guess.
Would rather go for a no lynch then a day 1 lynch this is cultural so this is neutral to me.
Quin wrote:I'll put my vote forward for sig, I guess.
Random vote for me, slightly pingy.
Quin wrote:
G-Man wrote:
Quin wrote:I'll put my vote forward for sig, I guess.
Is there any reasoning for your vote or are you picking randomly?
I don't recall seeing him post yet, if anything. I'd just rather spare the people who will more likely create an active game from being lynched.
So he explains his random vote by saying he hadn't seen any of my post yet. Looking back I find this hard to believe, while I only had five posts, I was the first player to make a post. So this is pingy.
Quin wrote:Nevermind. He has posted. I'll move it to someone who actually hasn't posted yet.
This post was the next one he did, walking back his vote.
Quin wrote:

How do you know it's guaranteed not to catch a baddie?
I was referring to the "no lynch" option, for which Quin expressed a preference. If we don't lynch people, it's impossible to catch bad guys.
Yeah, I pretty much always do a no lynch unless the situation demands it. But I never do it past Day 1. I like to backup my votes with role related evidence, so on Day 1 I generally default to a NL.

That's not to say I'm not taking suspicious behaviours into account. I'm definitely doing that.
More about no lynching, not an alignment indicator at all.
Quin wrote:Changing my vote to Bullzeye. A completely random lynch just doesn't make any sense to me, even when there's close to no information to go off of.
Votes for Bulls based around a random vote, this post seems genuine.

Quin wrote:I have mixed feelings on llama right now. I quoted it before but I lost it, but I honestly think SVS missing the vote was an honest mistake, since I thought the day phase was 48 hours as well. But I still acknowledge whoever it was that said he hasn't been saying much with any relevance.
Same thoughts on Llama as earlier, but also what I see as some soft defense of SVS. Minor ping from this post.

Also at some point he mentioned Wilgy's doctor claim, I'm not sure what to make of it but, it gave me a bad gut ping.

This isn't as much as I thought it would be, but right know I'm reading Quin as a scum lean. His interactions with SVS are pingy, and I dislike his random vote for me.

There is a Heist guideline that states that a Heist should have no more than three (3) power roles. I'm stating that I do not consider this mechanic to be a power role.

You gave some soft defense of SVS in this post, which also seems kind off like cover for an inactive teammate. This also gave SVS an opportunity to answer back and defend herself without outwardly defending herself.

Either way one baddie down, lets see if an ISO of SVS will help catch her mafia buddies, since after all if they are on her team they must be her friends. I wish I had friends, but nobody ever wants to get close to me.

Wilgy always claims doctor regardless of the game and alignment. The other would be Nero he has made a few posts and I think your voting for him already? I've got a slight ping but not vote worthy.

The idea of no lynches is bad imo, it tends to be pushed by mafia since it benefits them the most. So that earns Quin an :eye: but I do recognize this is a culture thing. Glorfindel does this every game regardless of alignment in most games I've played with him so it is a slight ping but not always a mafia thing.

linki: I'm still holding my grudge on you, if ytou cared enough you'd draw me into the discussion you see it takes a long time to get to know me just like the crab I have a strong shell and if you don't take the time to peel it back you'll never understand me and I won't really care.

Hosts do you get a prize for being the best roleplayer?
What, me personally? I never get a prize, no, because I suck at roleplaying.

I think you mean libertarians (we can make fun of them since they will never matter in the grand scheme of things.) :P
My aunt is a hippie I like her ergo we should lynch all anti hippie's :noble:

If there is a cop 9 v 3 if there isn't a cop 10 v 2 or it could be neither why do you think it is one of those two?
