Absolutely not. I was playing to win. I wouldn't throw for meta. Meta is simpler than that lol.

Why did I do what I did?
What did everyone learn from this game?
Whomever wishes, please let me know.

Re: [Game Over] Three-Day Day 1 Mafia
Yeah I like the format. Good game Dunya. Thank yee thank ye.dunya wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 6:21 pm i flipped a coin to see if every role should be in the game, and it came down to 1 cop, 1 mayor and 2 masons.
it really fucks people up when the game has 1 mason, or no cop and scum take a gambit and claim cop.
if more people are interested, i'll run another one of these some time in the future. (:

Re: Three-Day Day 1 Mafia [Day 1]
So... now multiple people have called my thinking stupid. I guess that means I'm out. When people don't take the time to invest in discussion and rather just say "that's dumb" then there's no point in me playing any further.
How about question my thinking with serious prompt and try for a solution? Why would I think such a way from both perspectives. Line them up and ask questions instead of insulting thoughts.
I have most reason to believe that INH is the baddie we are looking for. I'm gonna vote there and go to bed. Goodnight loves.

I wish that were the case. What I'm doing is just needed for town to win. There can't be 3 masons.Turnip Head wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 2:12 pm Wilgy's vanilla and trying to throw the game due to his inherent sense of madness

I think that likely team of scum at this point is either Marmot Kyle or INH Kyle. As the votes are standing right now it's likely to be INH Kyle.

Re: Three-Day Day 1 Mafia [Day 1]
Why because all he's discussed is role mechanics? That doesn't solve anything.insertnamehere wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 5:15 pm Kyle's making the most sense of the people in the thread, and at this point I'd be quite disappointed if he was lynched. He gets a puppy sticker.

Re: Three-Day Day 1 Mafia [Day 1]
I disagree. This prevents vanilla players from utilizing their ability of speech to the fullest. Why would you want to prevent a civilian from lying? That's the most useful tool to a vanilla.Kylemii wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 2:25 pm I'll clarify, there's 8 players. 2 mafia, and (up to) 5 players which can be cleared via role claims. I guess in this situation it's just 4 since apparently TH's cop read was on me and not a vanilla.
the absolute best move is for every civ to roleclaim, it eliminates half the puzzle and it forces the mafia out into the open or it forces them to fake claim, either way it simplifies things significantly, and gives us something to talk about.
Scumboi Kyle.

Re: Three-Day Day 1 Mafia [Day 1]
Yes. Challenging my intellect is actually more indicative of you being scum as well. Why challenge my intellect when there's plenty of other things you can challenge my claim with.Kylemii wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 2:18 pmit doesn't matter what it does for me personally, what matters is what it does for the game.DrWilgy wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 2:02 pmAs far as I read, masons can't reveal themselves to each other purposefully in BTSC. What does your claim do for you?Kylemii wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 10:19 amplease explain your thought process here?
not everyone has role claimed or even posted since my mason claim, so first of all you're jumping the gun on this
secondly, in order for me to be mafia turnip head would need to be lying, and the other mason would also need to be lying. that would be too many liars to be a mafia team in this setup.
Also no I dont want to. Your teammate is probably Marmot Senpai.
you're smarter than this, wilgy. do you legitimately think me being mafia makes sense?

Re: Three-Day Day 1 Mafia [Day 1]
It's likely Kyle is scum. No hard counters were put in place. No one even tried to deviate from the claims. Kyle's nonchalant attitude about it.
I'm glad we figured out the game already.
