Last game I played with him, I thought his plan was bad and he was a civ. But this game, I believe he started the question after people (at least me) said that civ Wilgy is expected to come up with some crazy plan or scheme. I wonder if this was not done to do just that, while giving the baddies a chance to figure stuff out, as an added bonus.

I'd like to hear what Wilgy has to say to this

Wilgy: the guy seems to be playing similarly to how MM does. Which is really weird. He asked some useful questions in the game, and shows some mild interest in hunting baddies, but his methods are questionable. Also he voted Enrique but I haven't seen him talking about Enrique a lot in this day 2? Do you still read him as mafia? Anyway, he is playing the kind of game a baddie could hide behind, but that's a longshot. For now, slight civ read.

Metalmarsh: Between him and WIlgy, I think Wilgy is being the more productive one. MM has said barely nothing useful. But he looks suspicious every single game. That said, I've seen him make some productive posts before, and his last few seem to be an attempt at that. I need to see more. Neutral read for now.

If today's lynch is between Epignosis, Simon, and sig... I'm voting sig. I couldn't see Epignosis being bad in this game (like FZ mentioned, throwing his kid under the bus??? harsh), and I really don't think Simon's posts meant anything serious. The whole "I was trying to dog my own grave!" argument doesn't really... hold up at all. I'm worried people are voting for Simon before him.

That's certainly a possibility (and one that I too had considered) but realistically, it could be nothing less than group inertia based on there being no remotely clear choice...

The last time Sorsha voted for me Day 1, I was a civilian, and so was she. For the first time ever, I got lynched Day 1. If you read her reasoning then, you will see that it was lighthearted. Contrast that with here, in which Sorsha suggests that she has an idea of what I'm about (she doesn't ).

Epi, what makes you think Simon might be bad?

Before the game began, I explained to him that he is not allowed to talk to me about this game at all. He has his own device now for posting and voting, and even any technical help he requires must be obtained from his mother. The only thing I know that you don't is that yesterday he was giggling like a little school girl.

So nothing that you suggest.

However, consider: Even if Simon is mafia, is there any chance of him getting lynched Day 1? Of course there isn't. If I left my vote on Simon, then my vote would be like the cheese- standing alone. So what should I do? I have no choice but to take what the thread gives me. Notice how Sorsha above didn't even mention my vote for Simon, yet somehow I'm executing a master plan of setting up sig for Day 1. I don't understand how I can set sig up by voting Simon. She also provides sig a free out regardless of what sig says or does: "You know how bad sig can make himself look, so he's the easy vote."

I've only played one game here previously and I was a mess that game. I'm starting over this game and I want to put some stuff out there from the outset. Whilst I enjoy playing Mafia, I adhere to the highest standards of behaviour out of respect for each of you and consequently, I will NEVER swear, nor will I ever use the 'S' word in reference to any of you. I acknowledge that the term is commonplace but I personally find it disrespectful and have never nor will EVER resort to that language. I am telling you all this now so you won't be surprised down the track.

As for trying to lynch someone this Day phase, this is impossible. What criteria are we expected to use to determine our lynch choice? We have nothing on which to base a decision other than our respective gut feelings - which in some cases will be little better than crystal ball gazing...

I hate hate hate day 1's for this reason. It's either a random gutshot or someone wholly convinced that they're right. That being said, you have to vote. There is not a "No-Lynch" in this game.
