Re: Zodiac Mafia [NIGHT 2]

Sigh... I would've swapped back to Nero if it meant not lynching G-Man. Shoulda been paying attention.

I think that bothers me most about Nero is that for someone who has looked through the thread and re-read everything twice he doesn't poke in here very often. I'm starting to suspect he's only skimming and not really looking at the game in depth.

I guess not everyone can be as dashing as I am though.

Looking over this, I actually really don't like this post G-Man. 1st of all, you can go back and compare to Daisy's other games. 2nd, you just finished Arrested Development with her.

Reading this post and the portion that I've bolded either means you aren't willing to double check a Meta that you are willing to base a vote on, or you are prepping yourself for an easy "oops, I guess I just forgot" when/if she's lynched as a civvie. Both of which screams bad sauce.

I worry about being premature. :sigh:

Turning down questions? You've directed three at me. Let's count them.

1. Answered.

2. Answered.

3. Answered, even if you don't like my answer (because I felt like being pedantic).

I have a question I'd like to ask a girl, but she'd probably say no. :sigh:
Both of your answers to the first one were bueno, you did express you were holding your vote to undo a tie and you did express previous suspicion of G-Man.

Answer 2 is irrelevant in my thoughts on you, I can't be the judge of how things just happen to work out, but I can judge the results.

Answer 3 is what I'm reffering to being sass. You could've stated your opinions regarding players but you didn't. You also could have answered 3 before results were posted from the night.

I would, but I'm going to hold my vote for the last minute in case someone needs saving. :dark:

:sigh:
Here's also a sassy response to a question gauged to everyone that you forgot to mention.

Epi I like the fact that you have placed your vote pre-tiebreak this time around, but there was no reason for you to withhold your vote yesterday when you had originally posted that you suspected G-Man. Withholding votes like that on the basis of "Imma break the tie" takes possible information away from the thread, and I don't see any civilian inention behind that.

Behind your vote, I liked Sorsha's second least and Bullzeye's third from least.

Sorsha's tossed responsibility, but acknowledged that it was her vote to make.

Bullzeye random voted but at least acknowledged that it was random and didn't try to bullsuit anyone.

Your vote on the other hand, was super heavy, had little provable reason behind it, and when asked about your vote I got non-genuine answers.

It wasn't that I was taking it that seriously, it was simply that everyone was talking about wilgy claiming doctor and seemed to be generally feeling good about him, so I got nervous about my own generally bad vibes from him maybe being wrong and backed off.

I'm really surprised by the people saying I haven't been contributing my own thoughts or suspicions. I feel like there is group thinking going on that I don't like. I would encourage price to evaluate my posts for themselves because I absolutely have been bringing my own thoughts into it. Sig I get you find it suspect that I get defensive, but how would you react if someone came in and painted you as bad based on something untrue. Wouldn't you get a bit defensive too?
I don't think anybody else was talking about his role claim at all. Nobody responded to it from what I saw until you read my post and changed your vote. I suppose 'serious' may not have been the right word. Cautious, maybe?

You bring up a good point about group thinking, I might have another look and see what people have had to say about you.
Can someone please ratio my opinions to others that I've gone with? Also, Quin, Sig clearly explained earlier my existence as a Doctor, which I most definitely am!
Quin wrote:If anyone has an alternative vote that's not Epi or Nero, I'd like to hear it. I can't agree with lynching either of them. What would you classify as legitimate discussion? questions that I've asked and gotten little to no response back? other than sass? Perhaps me asking Epi who would've he voted for before the night ended, and him responding next day with nothing but bullsuit answers.

Re: Zodiac Mafia [DAY 2]

@Sig, do you mean how do I feel about Llama voting epi with me? I voted first :P

@G-Man mostly my green on her is because of the hippie quick bit. I read frustration from her and didn't think a baddie would put emotion in the game so early. Also, she wasn't watching her typo's hence the wank, and she gave me a good laugh. I suppose I wrote that off in my mind as her being civ.

@Epi I'm not voting you for saving Bullzeye, I'm voting you for a mountain of fluff, lack of opinions about players and a sketchy last min vote. For someone to make a vote like that along with what you have provided for the thread, it's extremely hard for me to classify that near "possible civ behavior" at this time.

Also, there has been chatter about player survivals. As is now evident, this sort of ability is in play in this game. This has been included as a mechanic in this game, and is not viewed as a power role.

In a world where you are good - a Epi, Bullzeye, Llama team just makes sense. Epi saved Bullzeye, Llama was hesitant to vote change, but considered it. Llama also put Epi high on his greenlist when like you pointed out, Epi has very little non fluff content.

1. I'm surprised by Bullz random vote especially with so much suspicion being tossed around.

2. I don't understand why llama got so much heat about his rainbow list. Who cares? He basically listed a Day1 GTH list of everyone to gauge his own gut feelings on everyone. I'm ok with that, so I don't see why this is a big deal. Plus, I haven't felt any baddie vibes from llama really, so yeah...

3. Sorsha's vote also does not strike me as that odd, maybe because I'm one who would do the same sort of thing. It makes perfect sense to me to vote the same way as the person you feel like you can trust. Just not seeing the big deal here either.

4. Wilgy, I wish I could read Wilgy, but I just have not played enough with him. One thing that I find kind of confusing is the game he presented. I don't see what the purpose would be except to possibly sow disinformation. I don't get it.

I played mafia with SD for a few years before my hiatus. Having been away, I've forgotten how some of the old gang play. That's what I was getting at with my initial post, good sir. In Arrested Development she at least posted on-topic, helping me trust her. So far it's been mostly fluff and it seems a little under-the-radar. Why are you so quick to defend her if I may ask?
I guess it's a personal peeve. I don't mind voting for low posters, but for it being on the behalf of them being a low poster. Alot of times I'll see players reach for a "legitimate" reason to nuke a low poster other than them being low posters. I feel that's also easily exploitable by baddies.

I'm still feeling a G-Man vote, but you resting your vote with me is concerning, unless you 100% agree with me. I thought I saw the reason you posted is that you read me as civ.

Not really, but I would rather lynch a baddie so let's discuss before you gotta jet!
What do you mean not really? This is a response. Unfortunately I've not been able to commit the attention I was hoping to give this game today. Tell me what your strategy is on this Day 1, if you don't mind.
I don't think I would generally respond to pressure votes.

You should play my game. Everyone who can should before the day ends. If the day ends, you posted and didn't play my game then... well :evileye:

Looking over this, I actually really don't like this post G-Man. 1st of all, you can go back and compare to Daisy's other games. 2nd, you just finished Arrested Development with her.

Reading this post and the portion that I've bolded either means you aren't willing to double check a Meta that you are willing to base a vote on, or you are prepping yourself for an easy "oops, I guess I just forgot" when/if she's lynched as a civvie. Both of which screams bad sauce.

My favorite professor's advice: past performances are not indicative of future results.

Then why even mention the part that I bolded if you aren't trying to use that "forgotten" memory as a reference?

Is she usually less active day 1? Also what is her civ vs mafia posting meta? Like does she post more or less?
During Arrested Development, she was cop and only had 6 posts in the first 48 hours.

Nero, I'm confused about your ping on Llama. What about a rainbow without elaboration would be baddie intention? If anything he's causing discussion, something a baddie would like to stifle.

How do you know it's guaranteed not to catch a baddie?
I was referring to the "no lynch" option, for which Quin expressed a preference. If we don't lynch people, it's impossible to catch bad guys.
Has this ever landed you on a baddie? didn't you do this to lovedelic last game?

Welcome Nero

Neither. I'm betting it's not as simple as either of those.
Interesting. I could see that. Do you have any particular thoughts?
Not really. I just don't like speculating on things we have no way of knowing. Like Sherlock Holmes said, if you form a theory before the facts are in, you get committed to it and start twisting the facts to fit your theory instead of the other way around. I think it's dangerous.
What do you reccomend we speculate or discuss then good Llama?

Neither of these seem likely to me because our hosts reference BTSC. I guess they could be pulling a red herring on us though.
I mean 12 v 0 would mean we're all civs and there's no point in having a game :P I was kidding.
What about a 9 v 2 v 1?
