Well, if you insist. I think it is stupid to expect a player to do something so narrow and minute twice and then base a read on it.

I would also say the same about JaggedJimmyJay, but he's Schrödinger's player right now. I'll join you on the Sloonei vote, he has three posts and they're all about an issue that's above his pay grade as a player. Why does this post exist? That is such a trivial thing to get caught up on. His 12 posts absolutely are forgettable. It doesn't take a great deal of imagination to see why FG would have made this post? I don't know what's worse, your silly gotcha or Dragomir telling you it was splendis.

I think Dragomir because I think it's just a bunch of bs half trying to butter up to Epi half taking the opportunity to build some negative energy towards FG.

Use your words Dragomir
1. What is the problem with me compliment his post? I thought it was splendid so I said it. Do you want to tell me that it was wrong to do that?

2. I made a post before Epi talking about that specific part of FG's post saying that it was no excuse to not read TSP's posts. So obviously, I was wondering the same thing. Why does that post exist? It shouldn't. It doesn't matter how forgettable his posts are or whether or not he's on the same wagon as you. They're 12 posts. Easy to read. If you're unclear on the man then there's no reason for why you shouldn't read his posts, especially when they're EASY TO READ.

MacDougall wrote: Wed Apr 01, 2020 1:01 am Sloonei can you list all the people who have been notably assertive about town reading you vs. those who have been suspecting you?
LC and leetic voted for me very early on but I would not say that either of them have sustained any suspicion against me. ts account is the only one who I think has been actively suspicious of me as the day has progressed. Turnip Head briefly mentioned me once or twice but I was unclear where that ended up or how serious the suspicion was.

Just about everyone else has expressed some degree of a town read on me. I don't specifically remember speedchuck or tony having anything to say about little old me.

Drago and funnygurl would be the two most "notably assertive" town reads. Both of them stood up to defend me at various points early on. I've voiced my concerns about funnygurl's handling of me already: she defended me against specific accusations but never provided any independent thoughts on me.
I think that there has definitely been a general pro Sloonei vibe so I'm inclined to see people suspecting you as town. The mafia would be avoiding fabricating cases on you in this thread state and if you are one, well naturally they're probably not grilling you hard. I'd say that if you are Mafia, Funnygirl might be. But if you are town I'd be inclined to near townlock TS Account based on what you are saying.
Alternatively, he doesn’t want to back down. I’ve taken some crazy swings at cases against widely read townies before as scum. Easy points and no one seriously thinks you’re trying to lynch the person who’s never getting lynched.

why
1 - The amount of chatter about him being suspicious is unwarranted and is consistently based on untruths.
2 - The amount of anti LC chatter makes me think that there are at least wolf or wolves pushing that narrative, and in this current threadstate there is no cause for distancing or bussing.

I think that an LC lynch day one is very likely to flip a townie.
My guy, there have been like 2 ppl that talked bad on LC. Funnygurl and I. I won't count Speed cuz he made iirc one post talking about LC. I don't know how much anti-LC you see that I haven't. Maybe I'm just so vocal about him that it seems like a lot.
For someone who gets hysterical about others not reading the game you'd think you would be paying closer attention. LC has been an overwhelmingly dominant focal point and persistently so.
I strongly disagree.

Re: Assassin's Creed Mafia (D1)

I also hate his wagon. Dragomir and Speedchuck are suspect. Turnip Head and Funnygirl has been driving suspicion towards LC subtly but not voting there, and Turnip in particular is suspect as hell. He's playing it like someone trying to manifest the LC lynch without being part of it. I don't like the progenitors outside of TS Account, and reading TS Account regurgitating crap spewed by those people has forced my hand.

That said I also hate the leetic and the ted wagons too. We need new wagons imo. If Dragomir wagon won't take I'm inclined to switch to Turnip Head.

Speedchuck, Turnip head, Dragomir, Funnygirl, Epignosis have all been more suspect and questionable than Long Con imo.

Now, that doesn't mean I believed that Sloo and Mac were scum(LC yes). I just wanted them getting dirty in case if they were scum, they don't stay comfortable.

Does that not make sense? How do you look at a supposed "scumtell" and ignore everything that comes alongside with it in order to assert a scum read on a player? That's not fair nor reasonable.
You seem a little upset. Do you perhaps feel you have been caught for the wrong reasons?

I need an explanation for why I look an upset scum instead of an upset townie.
An upset town tends to not need to make a case that the logic and reason being used is incorrect, just that it is being incorrectly applied in the circumstances. Upset scum will make silly statements like "this is the dumbest scumtell I've ever seen" because you have a much more significant self preservation requirement in this game than a random villager would.
Ok, this makes sense. But honestly, I don't really give a shit about how an upset town doesn't need to do that or what an upset scum says. I will speak my mind. Not gonna let general mafia rules stop me.
Nobody asked you to. The nature of the game lends itself to analysing what people do through a lens of what is ordinarily expected of them mon frere.

Attempting to dismantle an established scumtell does not seem a towny-driven method to escape the noose, in my opinion. I find it interesting that both times I have brought up established scumtells, you have resorted to attacking the legitimacy of the scumtell itself, anyway.
Aight so what else you got going on? Any other suspects? Who else do you town read?

Would you like me to pull out the big imaginary book of mafia again?
Go ahead.
Well, there is a chapter or two dedicated to a rather nebulous concept that I have seen various facets of all referenced as "rule of three" or "rule of thirds". For a multitude of complementary reasons, a wolf will list three players (because groups of three are inherently more satisfying), one of which will be a scumbud, two of which will be townies. This scumtell mostly goes over my head on paper, but it is one of those things that you intuitively understand better than one could explain it to you, like WIFOM. It also refers to the tendency to put two thirds of one's scumbuds into their town reads, and one third into their null/scum reads. Googling this concept does not fetch me any suitable results, either. So, in this instance, you calling out three players specifically is slightly more likely to come from scum, and it is likely that exactly one of the three is a scumbud of yours given you are scum.
This the dumbest scumtell I've ever seen. When you ignore everything else, it sounds all dandy and all but you do you realize how illogical it is. Sloonei and Ted.

LC and TSP.
