When you say that I'm not having an open mind because I'm not considering objectively false interpretations, and you see TH's point when there is none, you make it pretty easy for me to misunderstand you. That is assuming that you are in fact not siding with him. I mean do you not have any opinion whatsoever on what I just pointed out in the post you're responding to here? Is the only thing you have to say really just trying to make sure that I don't think you're on his side? How would he successfully pass as a confirmed civ role? All it takes for it to fail was Matt to say 'I'm not Batman'. Of all the potential civilian roles to cruise through the game with, he would pick the one that could be obviously disproved?

You're not making any sense. Not only does his plan not fail if Matt says that he isn't Batman, Matt saying that he isn't Batman is his only chance of getting away with it. If Matt just happens to actually be Batman, then, and only then, his plan falls through completely.

Compare that to everything that Turnip Head did to hint at being Alfred. His back-and-forth with both me and Enrique before the latter changed his mind about Matt. It's not even in the same stadium, but of fucking course Turnip Head is going to try to frame it as being close enough to imply that my point against him is hypocritical because there's no way his "why do we fall" posts were anything more than jokes, and his hinting at being Alfred totally doesn't fucking extend them. linki @ Golden - I'm always suspicious of people demanding motive in order for a suspicion to be considered valid. For one, a lot of baddie reveals lack a motive because they weren't intended. Hell, no baddie tell is intended from a baddie. Two, just because the motive is unknown doesn't mean that the evidence from the thread is voided as being indicative of baddie behavior. I will never understand how not knowing an exact motive is required to be pinged by another player. Three, often baddies knowingly do things with no clear motive so that they can ask what the motive was to deflect suspicion. In this case Turnip Head is letting everyone else do that for him while he pats them on the back by joining them in the mockery. Sometimes the apparent lack of motive is the motive. See how it's working? You've even got some players such as S~V~S suspecting Turnip Head less than they were before simply because this "oh yeah well what's my motive ehhh" is actually working.

Of course Turnip Head refuses to defend himself instead choosing to dismiss any suspicion against him with snark and condescension from both Enrique and myself, but when two people drastically misinterpret a single one of my posts he decides to quote me. Fuck this. Curse you Rule #3.

Okay. So it was to save Matt. I don't know why he was doing anything Mac but he is very clearly not Alfred. He's had a huge influence on the game already, he probably expected me or Matt to get killed before I realized there was no way we were on the same page.

I love how if you can't pin the exact motives of a baddie maneuver, that must mean that you're just imagining that there was any maneuver at all.

It's not "fuck with us" it's "see guys I'm a confirmed civ, look at all my role hints." He has suspicion on him now because it didn't work.

No, I called all of it and I read Matt as civ both when I called it and now. The suggestion is that Turnip Head breadcrumbed the thread to make people think that he was a certain civ role (Alfred) and nothing more.

How so? Do you really think that TH wasn't implying anything, and that "why do we fall" really was a strictly humorous motif?
Remember Enrique's game where Scotty made a joke on Day 1 and got lynched for it? Well he survived the lynch, but was NK'd anyway, but the idea is there. Long Con and I read too far into a post from Scotty that was intended to be a joke. We lynched him for it. We were wrong.

If TH claims it is a joke, why can't he be telling the truth? Also he's not the only person using this line. I've seen you, sig, DrWilgy, and even myself use this line multiple times.

If he's not the only person using this line - and I'm aware of this - why would I be calling him out specifically for using it, both before and after Enrique's radical change of mind regarding Matt? I was calling him out for this way, way before he started claiming he was a joke after he got some heat on him.
