Be filthy rich and spend all money on me but still respect me and treat me as an equal. :p

Haha. God, I dont know. Respect, being able to stand the person in an enclosed space for years at end, really respecting who I am where I come from and my culture and background (people say they do, but they're actually ashamed of me in some ways --- speaking from past experiences). Optimism, humor, and forward thinking with goals to obtain.
Ashamed of you how?

What kind of goals?
My middle eastern background. The Lebanese culture. Partners can't seem to brag about that part of me. My last ex was so ashamed he didn't tell his parents till I did lol.

Goals of any kind. Goals = motivation = moving forward and not backward. Setting goals creates drive and passion to do things so I think it's super healthy in a relationship to have them and that they complement each other's goals and aims.

When it's actually interesting and not just a bunch of pretentious bs, of course.

Which segues neatly into my next question, how much of an "art snob" would you say you are? Consistent across mediums, or does it vary from one to another?
Oh for sure! I've watched hours of interviews with Dali which actually made me appreciate his creative process and art even more to make him a fav!

Pretentious and philosophical--- there's a very fine line between the two I agree lol. And most artists like to get philosophical :p

I'm not an art snob at all. I'm the furthest thing from that because I feel like a virgin critic. I do get angry when people bash art, cos I feel it wasn't meant to be appreciated by everyone but that doesn't make it "bad".

Damn well should be.
Suppose no houses exist and nobody is willing to build houses.

Is housing a right?
I guess not, in that case it's a need that you have to build to survive. With how wealth is distributed in the world and the fact we work for money, sometimes people work more hours and earn way less than others, world's not perfect and evenly distributed.

To that extent, I feel strongly about helping those less fortunate and some things I feel are basic human rights: food, no one ever goes hungry. Shelter, no one should ever have to live on the streets or not have shelter and warmth. Access to clean water.

It's 2022 and billionaires are burning money to fly to other planets for more monetary gain. It's cool cos space is cool, but it is also ridiculously gross imo.

Not quite, I've never really made a top 10 list. I love going to art museums of various decades and just admiring the work of artists who aren't prominent at all. I have loads of photos of work that has moved me to my core by unknown names.

If I wanna go with something really famous that I love it would be balloon girl by bansky.

I love graffiti a lot, and being in Paris, it's something I always stop to admire on my walks!!!

Aviaries no. I think it's inhumane.

Zoos is a complex answer because I'm a hypocrite who's been to zoos but I find the idea of capturing animals in an enclosed space for our viewing pleasure to also be an uncomfortable one. I haven't been to a zoo in like 10 years? I think they're a great way for children to learn about animals though, and the really nice zoos that spoil their animals are less bothersome to me in general.

Birds being enclosed in little cages tho is evil.

I have!!! Maybe not specifically 3am but it was super late and my friend who lives down the street was over for movie night and suggested the conjuring iirc. Anyway movie ends, I regret all choices I made in life, he leaves. I go to bed and my bedroom was on the first floor of my house, so I had a nice terrace to it. Anyway he climbed onto it and started knocking on my Windows outside like 30 mins after he supposedly left.

I started texting and calling him like crazy to come over cos someone was at my window and he would text back to stop imagining things until he gave himself away and started laughing.

We are not friends anymore.

For unrelated reasons, but still. :p
I have a fun idea now.
Perhaps further explanation is that there was a bipolar creepy guy who was making unwelcome advances at me also living on my street so I had worries he would try to come to my house one night lol.

Re: Interrogation Room - dunya

fake is good cos it's reusable until you die and beyond. my mom will literally inherit her tree onto one of us, it's heavy duty shit.

dunno. if he hadn't touched his plate yet...maybe. i'm easily disgusted and don't like sharing messy meals/cups/forks/spoons etc. :p

FAKE every time.

i bought into the real tree hype before and it all it brought me was PAIN after a couple of days.

Syn wrote: Mon Feb 21, 2022 4:45 pm What is your favourite holiday? Do you like celebrating holidays?
christmas/new year is my favorite. long holidays, great food, everyone in my family is free and we can enjoy each other's company.

i also like eid and all the cookies. it's really nice.

i dont think i care about any other holiday.
Are you a "multicoloured lights" Christmas person or a "white lights" Christmas person?
both / either

maybe if i cared about aesthetics as much as my sis, it would be all white.

i'm more whatever i find at the store that doesn't cost hundreds of euros cos i'm not crazy ;p

Syn wrote: Mon Feb 21, 2022 4:45 pm Are there any charitable or developmental ideas/concepts that you find particularly interesting and that you read up on or donate to?
orphanages, i donate via SOS Children' s Villages that also helps feed children around the world cos no child sleeps hungry is an initiative i feel really strongly about. education is also important, but i can't imagine children going days with no food and it angers me a lot when i think about it.
I used to volunteer for Maya's Hope. :)

oh hey, i used to volunteer at a special needs orphanage in my early 20s too!! we have that in common. i just went and gave them attention and did activities with them (we danced, drew, played musical instruments, etc.). i didn't do any of the hard messy work. but they were so lovely.
