We were counting on her to vote early since Quin did so to her the previous day. And she delivered. We were around waiting for her to do so and end the day.

My team wanted to kill Quin the night before but I had this nagging feeling that we needed to lynch him instead. So that was a very pleasant feeling to get that one right.
Yeah, I was signalling Quin with that. And generally, I really DO do what Sorsha quoted, wait till the end. But I wanted Quin to know.

~ Because these repeated night phases terrify me. If I am one of those poor people who is slaughtered, I'm screwed.
Well that's fun. I've seen first-hand in the game I hosted how helpful you can be to the town as an independent, so I'm comfortable leaving you alone for now. Hopefully more roles will become available and we can piece together what you are in the coming nights. After we lynch a few mafia, I'm going to entertain lynching you.

@ linki Matt - Lol @ Baseless. You have both provided plenty of reason for me to believe you're a baddie duo. I don't think voting Christmas is relevant at all to you and Scotty being buddies, but I'm still pretty sure you are.
Whyfore again? Just the bullet points please. I'm sorry - I'm a crap player who has limited time and honestly won't go back and reread. I know it's a thing I can't remember the deets. If it peaks my interest I will dig in more.

linki- stuff blowing up and I still am prolly 3 pages behind. I'm terminally in crackberry mode. lol.
Gonna try to speed this before update in case I'm dead.

- Day 0/1 Matt focusses on FS over Scotty despite suspecting both for same thing.

- Day 1 Matt considers voting for Goldy due to a suspicion on Scotty, rather than just voting Scotty.

- Day 2 Scotty questions if Matt has been silenced way early in the day (though he wasn't in the end so this one wasn't that big)

Post more in a sec if I'm alive, I think it's about update time and wanted to get this started.
- Day 2 I was trying to make a Scotty push, and Matt tossed out a throwaway vote on fingersplints. The night after, he began to suggest a Scotty lynch the following day. Looks like distancing imo, because why would Matt not be willing to vote Scotty with me Day 2 if the suspicion was legitimate?

- A minor one, but both players jumped to SVS's defense incredibly fast.

Some of this case is more of individual reads on them as well that make me think each is mafia by themselves too.

- Matt tried to dispel my whole argument about his willingness to vote Goldy over being suspicious of Scotty as a lie due to me using the word "likely" instead of the actual word "maybe". Discrediting the argument based on one word rather than answering it.

- Scotty has placed nothing but inactive player votes, despite his early-game comment of wanting to learn more based on how our lynches flip. First vote was for Goldy, who had zero posts, and his second vote was for leetic, who had in the single digits. He then after leetic died, assumed leetic was mafia, and was confident enough to build a case on me based upon an assumption of an inactive player's allegiance post death, so basically a roll of a dice.
This is all very good. Scotty focusing on inactive players is completely in character for him, but I also thought the assumption that leetic was bad was a huge stretch and definitely not something you can base a whole different case on.

My experience with Matt is he's zany but he's also usually bad. Now watch him stubbornly defend his votes and never come back to Scotty again.
Is it a huge stretch though? I think it is far less of a stretch than you think, what with him acting completely guilty by ignoring questions asked of him and abstaining from saving himself...but then I guess we are both entitled to our opinions. :llama:

The only concrete info we have in deaths right now is Quin, the bringer of Forever Night (tm), Erin, and Wilgy, our Creedy tracker. I'm trying to read between the lines here, but we had like 9 votes that were forced by Merideth on Day 2, nothing but SVS to go on for day 3, and day 1 im still not seeing patterns with.

Tomorrow, should I still be alive, I don't want to just focus on SVS, but hone in on those low posters, including you Enrique.
Epignosis wrote:I once was bad and voted and ended the Day early. I got away with it until the recruiting faction outnumbered my faction and lynched me. :fist:

I'm still of the opinion that S~V~S didn't pull that stunt despite some evidence to the contrary. If she did, I would be surprised.
OK, but my own point of contention is what could have made her do that. We just don't know and until the rest of the roles are revealed, the entire field is wet and matted.

Re: [DAY ONE] The Office Mafia

I don't think I ever addressed leetic as a suspect, myself. In which case, I'll do so now very quickly.

I find his accusation of elohcin on her post fluffiness to be highly ironic, but not enough for me to push a lynch on him. Someone brought up the possibility of the two of them being on a team and it being a form of distancing, and I think this could be true. I find it difficult to imagine him picking elohcin out of everyone to post-analyse.

I'm concerned with the discrepancy between his town behaviour in AoT and his behaviour now, but it's so different that I can't put it down as baddie behaviour, especially because this is only the 2nd time I've played with him.

I agree that his vote for Wilgy isn't all that suspicious given that he was the first to put it down.

Quin feels like he's on the forefront of scumhunting but what I feel he's doing is intentional chaotic brewing of the mechanics and roles stew. That post, #savemepandanderin (as if hashtags weren't bad enough) serves just to confuse people. Since it's been given the go ahead by Dom, it means his role is not at all connected with Pam and Erin, but in the off chance that it'll plant the seeds of doubt on anyone's mind that he is indeed related to them, he took that chance. Also, it is pure nonsense in the context of the game to post and I can only see someone as scum would make the effort to do.

JJJ on the other hand, GTH is quite uncharacteristic of you. You also forgave Quin. Also, bad vibes. I don't feel Superman JJJ right now, but Lex Luthor JJJ. Jesse Eisenberg Lex Luthor.
False. It's been given the go ahead by Dom because it doesn't break the info dumping rule. In saying what I said, have I claimed to be a doctor, a cop, or any other role? Do you have any concrete information other than the vague statement that town is going to suffer? It's connected to Pam because it's a statement that she can check, but checking so won't reveal any game-breaking information either. I'll add that I also didn't intend for Pam to out herself and say 'Hey, Quin wasn't lying!' - I figured if I can convince one person of my alignment, that's one vote I won't be receiving, which could make all the difference later on. As for Erin, she could have saved me from the lynch if she so chose - but that's all pretty much just self-preservation.

Going off my interpretation of her role, she can control two non-voters votes, but they have to go to the same person. It's entirely possible I'm misinterpreting it and she can use everybody's votes, though.

Which of the three getting votes do you think Meredith would be most likely to put extra votes on?

I've been getting the worst vibes from INH since the beginning of the game and agree with whoever said it looks like he's trying to discredit everyone else, and while he's obviously frustrated in his response, I can't tell if it's from getting nailed or simply misunderstood. Whichever it is, that whole discussion seemed ridiculously over the top.

I'm not gonna quit this game like I did Battle of the Hosts. I'm just in need of a small mental healh break. I'll be home in a few days, which will hopefully help me freshen up a little. Right now I'm just lost.
If you've been getting the worst vibes from INH, why did you just vote JJJ?

BWT doesn't look all that great given his vote for me, though. I feel as though my vote might go there tomorrow.
Sorry. I was exhausted last night when I was trying to explain my voting for you. Let me clarify:

1) Yes, your statement rubbed me the wrong way in terms of what you said about baddie hunting. But, combined with the fact that I felt you had done pretty much no quality baddie-hunting yourself up to that point, made that statement jump out at me even more.

2) I didn't have much else to go on at that point. Wilgy's positions seemed completely ungrounded in anything factual and was 100% suspicions. I did not think that there was anything at the time in between Matt and INH and felt it was civ on civ. Your statement was the first thing that jumped out at me on Day 1 and was the strongest ping I got.

That being said, it is still a ping that I will keep in the back of my mind as the game progresses. But that along isn't a strong enough reason to vote for you on Day 2 vs. on Day 1 unless you give me other reasons to do so going forward.

It's easy to say that you thought I was already suspicious for not doing baddie hunting after its already been established I don't have a defence to the accusation. The only time you actually referred to me before your vote was when you disputed Wilgy's assumption that INH and I are on a team. On top of that, you've contradicted yourself. If the first thing that caught your eye in this game was the post you voted me for, you clearly didn't have my lack of baddie hunting in your arsenal already.

Here's my response to one of BWT's posts. Hopefully it can convince a few more people to swing that way. :nicenod:
