I'm glad for the win. When I found out what was going on with the winners I was worried that this was going to become one of those games where I came so close to a win but lost in the end. Those happen too often.

I really enjoyed this game. LMS is cool, yo. Thanks LC and BR! Sorry Daisy and Glorf. If the 5 of us could have won, I'd have been ecstatic.

Here's something that's been bothering me. The "unless that changes" clause. My strong suspicion is that two people can get to the end together and both win, as long as they're the same element.

The only remaining pair is Quin and Speed, and they've been pretty much in sync this entire game.

I think breaking up this potentially game-ending power couple should be our top priority.

What I offer: I will fuse with one of your group's members tonight. This doesn't seem like much except it will be a definite benefit for the person merge with, given their element. So far, there seems to be one person who is dead set against ever joining the Alliance. That'd be Epignosis. In fact, he's advocated targeting members of the Alliance itself.

Plus, I heard he shot a Doctor in Reno, just to watch him die.

I'm cool with this. He claimed to have lynch immunity and the specifics of that are still in the air. I don't want to get down to the wire with him having the ability to protect himself.

I agree with this. Voting No Lynch in a LMS game is like lynching a civ while playing as a civ - it doesn't help you at all. It's the opposite of what your role is trying to accomplish.

Allow me to enlighten you my dude:

The goal of the game isn't "murder everyone" It's "Don't get murdered"

Therefore, and without question, the soundest initial strategy is peace in our time. If no one is lynched, everyone has an opportunity to mesh with at least one element, and more importantly, get some information as to with whom they would or would not prefer to mesh elements, team up, etc.

Mindlessly lynching, on Day 1, places the individual at a disadvantage. For one, there is no guarantee that the person getting lynched won't be you. For another, you may find you lynched an element that would have been mission critical to your success.

This is a smart post.

My first thought when someone votes no lynch is "why would these players in a lms game, give up their ability to kill or maim others?"

The only gameplay minded conclusion that I can come up with is that they have another means of acheiving their win con, probably through offensive or aggressive night powers that they know of.
