And ika and Silverwolf were in the same cell, since they died during the same cycle.

One thing I love about this site is the people care about each other. It is foreign to me because I come from a place where we are at each other's throats more often than not. It's an adjustment for me but a good one. I really, really like it!!

Soneji-I'd like to publicly thank you for your kind comments in scum chat. Before anyone complains, I only got access out of concern for ika and only temporarily. I understand why it wasn't released and I thank the hosts for their consideration of ika and your kind comments as well.

I'd like to thank 920 for your incredible determination during the 10 minute post challenge. Holy shit you went all night 2 nights in a row when the rest of us slackers were sleeping.

I'd say that Silverwolf was the MVP this game. She was right about both ika and Epi and it's a shame that nobody listened.
This just reminded me that back on Day 2, the main wagons were Epi, Fuzz and ika so we had our pick of three different mafia members. We were looking so great back then but we ruined ourselves.

That CFD was amazing but it kinda doomed me personally in this game. It caused me to shake up so many of my reads from earlier in the game, and it turned out all of my new ideas were wrong and my old ones were much more on the right track.
Soneji had me fooled the whole time though. If it weren't for those last day shenanigans I was never going to vote for him. Very well played Soneji and the rest of you cops.
This is so very true for pretty much everyone but Silverwolf. Silverwolf has incredible instincts. However, I have never seen so many civs be so absolutely wrong and yet 100% they were right as I did in this game. People who usually have outstanding instincts as well. It was almost painful to watch at times.
Also, I have to share my own Slooneji story. Sloonei, you were originally supposed to be the Chief and soneji was supposed to be my Don, but because I flubbed and got Sloonei and soneji mixed up, I had to flip flop your roles because one of the role card messages was read as soon as I sent it. I felt like an idiot.
I needed to do a better job of explaining my reads. I am an emotional/passionate player and that distracts me sometimes. I was supremely frustrated with feeling like I wasn't being listened to but I didn't have a lot to go on, just gut and the fact I don't like lurkers and the stool pidgeon stuff. It was hard to read, coming back, some of the stuff said about me by indiglo. It wasn't personal but still hard to read.
That said, no hard feeling anyone!!
Damn about the BTSC, I really wanted to see how ika operated here.
I was both lamenting the civs waving away your reads based on meta and passion while also being thankful that they did as you had our entire team nailed. I know all too well the feeling of being so right in your reads but getting ignored, the trick is to do it so often people have to take notice
We kept you around as long as we did mainly to keep Ika happy :P
This somewhat makes up for my disappointment in not getting to see the BTSC. I really, really wanted to read it.

Here were the results:
Cell 1 - S~V~S and Typhoony - 21
Cell 2 - G-Man and Metalmarsh - 7
Cell 3 - bea and DharmaHelper - 3
Cell 4 - juliets and timmer - 19
Cell 5 - a2thezebra and Scotty - 5
Cell 7 - Black Rock and Quin - 15
Cell 9 - ika and Silverwolf - 21
Cell 10 - indiglo and thellama - 0
Cell 6 was vacant and Cell 8 didn't apply because Sorsha's shanking that previous day meant Boomslang was by himself.

Fine, but I wasn't outing my main in any way. I would of killed me for a different post though so I'm leaving it alone and letting it go. I do not want to fight over it. I did want my side of things here and now I'm done with this issue.MovingPictures07 wrote:It wasn't a vague rule; I killed Long Con right in front of you for it, but that's neither here nor there. To explain our strict adherence to the no outing the fact you started in the main game, it could have made it nearly impossible for the indies to fulfill their win con. All it would take is someone outing the self and then all the civs file in and vote for the obvious formerly civ player. They had to be given an equal chance, which is why we set it up like that. The goal was for the prisoners to be released and prove their worth to the civilians during that day phase, without reveals they may have previously been in the game. I know that the two who were mod killed had not intended anything by the infraction, but we had to mod kill to preserve the balance of the mechanic. I'm very sorry to have upset you both with this.

Re: [END] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
BTW-I was the Daisy Stool Pidgeon but my role was switched to Hitman.
I did not think either ika or soneji acted in accordance with the Stool Pidgeon because I KNEW it was gleam due to my role. That's why I went hard against him and I expected that if my role was switched that the Stool Pidgeon would go to someone else who would know what I did and go after the traitor. Neither ika nor soneji fit the bill so that's why I suspected them.
ika outplayed his usual scum meta, his manipulative post showing he had a scum agenda is what got me plus the fact that he could NOT be the stool pidgeon, that's why I was so certain after jailbreak-because soneji was claiming stool pidgeon and he was not.
Also, when I posted after I was killed I did not see the post killing me, only the one saying a modkill needed to happen so I didn't know I was dead. I was not intentionally breaking rules there and I did not intentionally out my main.
Between that and the cops winning despite all dying, it's a tad frustrating to be honest.
That said, the game was very complex and I recogninze how hard the hosts worked to put it together for us so thank you both for that!!
This was interesting for my first game on this site and I hope to see you all in a future game. Also, can't wait to see the scum chat as well.

I had not idea if both dons survived, town couldn't win. I thought for sure if the cops were removed, they lost.Soneji wrote:Epi and I very much hinted towards the Prisoner not mattering. The game would be heavily unbalanced if the Cops had to rely on the town to take out the Dons to win, as the Dons were immune to the actions of the cops. Neither faction of town can meet their wincon if only the Dons remained from each family, so Cops win by default if only one of them is alive against both Dons.

The points of contention will likely come at sig and Quin.
Draconus remains underdiscussed so that's someone I'd be willing to talk about. I think a lot of people have left him alone because they weren't alarmed by his predecessor Mongoose, but that's a weak defense to stand on this late in the game and I'm not inspired.
If I have any tinfoil remaining, it'd be Epignosis.

Calling someone scum because you are still alive is WIFOM and extreme tinfoil. If you are gonna suspect me, you better have a better reason than that. Have you stopped to think about all the failed arrests this game? If we want to look at NK's, we can look at Matt's and see how hard was pushing ika.
I helped lynch Fuzz and was not on DDL so my votes are not terrible and my one on ika could very well be on scum still.
As scum, I kill off obvious town players first regardless of what they think of me. Unless a role has been outed or breadcrumbed and I find it at night.

Well, I'm not gonna keep going on and on about ika being the seemer although I'm pretty sure he is. We will find out soon enough and any further speculation is pointless.
Sloonei-I did give reasons for many of those reads throughout my ISO but I can do it again if needed.
Bottom line is many of them are laying low and trying to blend in without doing any actual scumhunting or game solving. I feel like scum is doing this, this game and that a lot of the active players are town. There could be an active scum or two but there is scum in the lurkers, I have no doubt about it. Nero and chaindeath were mostly because they game me the most pause when I did GTH reads. I realized I didn't have a good read on either of them and that made me suspicious. They need further ISO's from me. Next day, I'm most likely gonna support a Draconus or Boomslang lynch. I still think Draconus is scum.

OK, The main wagons here were on Radical Fuzz-scum. ika-likely scum. And Epi who only had 3 votes and could also be scum.
So no, this argument holds no water.

Re: [NIGHT 6] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
I"m actually quite surprised the way town is playing this game. I think a lot of you are really good players so don't take this as an attack on your play but the fact none of you are willing to consider my POV if it happens to differ from your own and are gonna shit on me over and over is gonna be the downfall of town this game.
And Epi deserves the fuck off. He's being a complete ass to me. If he's town, then that's pretty disgusting. If he's scum, well played and no problem.
You know, I have a different perspective from the rest of you because I come from a different site, but that means you guys, as long as you are town reading me, should listen to an outside view. Someone who has seen ika play. Someone who has seen things outside this site. Open your minds.
I have reason to think ika is the seemer.
My reads haven't changed. They are what I told Epi.
I am not going to bang my head against the wall as long as this is what is gonna happen.

When the game ends and ika is shown to be the seemer I want those of you laughing at me and being snide to me to apologize.

Re: [NIGHT 6] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
Is Epi actually interested in my opinion or just trying to rile me up?
Here ya go Epi:
You want the reasons for my reads? The person who wouldn't even do GTH reads?
OK, Give me your reads and your reasons and I'll happily elaborate on mine more.
I don't want anymore snide comments about me or ika. I don't want any more evasive answers.
I want simple reads with reasons. I've done this throughout the game but I don't believe you've done it all.
So you want more from me, then give yours and I'll happily give mine in great detail with bulletpoints, special font and colors even.

It was only a matter of time before someone brought up ika being the seemer. I wish I could agree, but I think you're wrong. He hinted him being the stool pigeon a while ago, so unless hes really playing us, I think he was civ.
Id find the post, but I'm on my phone.

Or, Occam's Razor... you were wrong. Doesn't make you scum, lord knows that. I've been wrong plenty. But coming up with outlandish stories to try to fit the facts as you want them to be seems far fetched. I will try to say no more on the subject, as I don't wish to upset. I just want my thoughts out there as clear as can be.
And now, let us make way in the thread, for wit is coming our way. JOY!
JFC, Whatever. Town can just lose then.
