Honestly, I knew he'd be nightkilled, but I figured ending his banter would have been better for the game, so I chose not to protect him.

I admit I got scared when I received the message.Epignosis wrote:I think (I don't keep up with this stuff):

5. JJJ
6. rabbit8
7. SokothQultuq
8. G-Man
9. Polo
10. Black Rock
11. ObscureAllure
I don't think I got targeted with anything this entire game.
I had 3J's role figured out due to the more realistic shift in tone in the admiral's posts during the second half of the game.
It would seem I was right about S~V~S not throwing nutella under the bus and nutella being alone. I was pretty proud of myself with narrowing down Glorfindel's role, and even though he was good at the time, the fact that he could have ended up on the side of evil is enough for me. I also felt pretty smart driving the Dex lynch based on the 2:2 ratio. The spacedaisy lynch was a combination of tone and Dex's treatment of her. And of course, with G-Man, I felt like I was on to something when he mentioned "another thread."
I'd say I had a solid performance there for a change.

I think Polo was the MVP, and I am not sure about roleplay, tbh.

Polo and SVS were targetting inh and JJJ back and forth on alternative nights for a while... except they were out of synch with each other so Polo never actually stopped a kill. Both of those two had nk protects which were both consumed.
INH was constantly getting his PMs in after the fleet was jumped, but always on humans (so the negative results he got were accurate despite them being based on nothing). Then he targetted SVS on the one night Jay decided not to jump...
LoRab cottoned on to the idea her win condition might be tied to her night power so she stopped using it.
Thanks for hosting this game, Golden! You did a great job and I had a lot of fun.

Both smell civ or indie to me.G-Man wrote:Aaron Doral is either DrumBeats or SokothQultuq if Wilgy is indeed Leoben as many of us think. We know Wilgy is a Toaster since his lynch was bypassed after he claimed on Day 5 so he has to be one of the two. All thread discussion of him points to Leoben, so Drum or Sokoth are Doral on my spreadsheet.
I have OA down as Caprica Six. Given her hard defense of Silverwolf, I had them pegged as BTSC partners since Day 5. Given Silverwolf's all-but-certain civvie status, I never felt all the way suspicious of OA because of what looked like a very obvious link between the two.
What are your thoughts on DrumBeats and Sokoth?

There are 5 of the original Cylon models still alive.G-Man wrote:All of the following players look civvie to me based on the combination of their voting records and their thread content:JaggedJimmyJay wrote:G-Man, I want to know what conclusions you draw from those technicolors.
-Epignosis (votes and content suggest civvie)
-JaggedJimmyJay (solid thread content makes up for a few votes that could be tin-foiled as baddie)
-juliets (you can tin-foil her post-rezz votes but her posts come across as genuine)
-Matt (votes don't look great but his erratic behavior seems too visible for a baddie)
-Nerolunar (putting S~V~S in the brig settled it for me and outweighs any issues that might be raised about his vote for Epi Day 9)
-Polo (despite some blendy early votes his record improves, the tone of righteous indignation in his posts comes across as too sincere to fake for as long as he's been had the volume up to 11)
-rabbit8 (Neither his nor Zebra's vote records is spotless but they both have that DGAF attitude that requires better looking votes from a baddie)
The rest have missed either too many overall votes or too many recent votes for me to effectively use my technicolors in conjunction with my notes:
-Black Rock (missed 5 votes, missed 3 of last 4 votes)
-DrumBeats (missed 3 votes)
-DrWilgy (missed 6 votes, missed 3 of last 4 votes)
-Ricochet (missed 3 votes, missed 2 of last 4 votes)
-SokothQultuq (missed 6 votes, missed 3 of last 4 votes)
Two of these players I am still very suspicious of (DrumBeats and Sokoth) and one of them slightly suspicious of (Wilgy). I will break all five of them down later this evening to explain how I clear the other two.
The other two players left are ObscureAllure and sig. Given the weirdness of Day 6's non-lynch, I still believe sig to be one of the human civ's on the list of potential presidents. I only barely suspect OA.
Excluding Epi, who do you believe are Cylons?
I think OA made it pretty clear that she's Caprica Six and I believe Wilgy is Leoben Conoy. Who is Aaron Doral? Is it you?

Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Night 11
Under the assumption that Cavil's post was supposed to be on BTSC, it may have been a reference to this:JaggedJimmyJay wrote:My interpretation is that Cavil did that on purpose and it should be taken with a grain of salt. Or the entire shaker. But just for fun, let's see who Polo hasn't mentioned:juliets wrote:Well that was an interesting post by Cavil that obviously should have gone in her bts chat. It looks like she's talking to one other person so maybe there is only one more for us to find and lynch. The thing I'm questioning is why it matters if Polo has mentioned this other person or not? Does it have something to do with that person doing the kill tonight? It looks to me that Polo may have been marked for the kill and may be the revenge vote Cavil is talking about. I'm just guessing here, who has another interpretation or potential answers to the questions I have about this.
Number of mentions or direct contact by Polo of remaining players:
Black Rock - 5 (4 in reads lists/gth)
Drum Beats - 8 (4)
DrWilgy - 44 (4)
Epignosis - 46 (4)
G-Man - 17 (4)
juliets - 9 (2) - 6 post-resurrection
Matt - 16 (4)
Nerolunar - 16 (1) - 8 post-resurrection
ObscureAllure - 34 (4)
a2thezebra / rabbit8 - 31 (4)
Ricochet - 35 (4)
sig - 34 (4)
SokothQultuq - 15 (4)
The grand winner of this sweepstakes is... nobody. Black Rock is the closest it gets and she hasn't been around the game to warrant being talked about. After that I guess you could say DrumBeats. I think this is worthless.

c) Matt posts all his 977 theories, otherwise we have to lynch him
d) we experience a favorable night phase, perhaps one with no nightkill, as to consider the risk of wasting another lynch on Cavil and losing civilian lives in the process to be slightly reduced

Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Day 11
I'm perfectly okay with my vote on Daisy and I think we're on the right track.
However, we don't really have any confirmation on whether Cavil is unlynchable or not.
If we were to lynch Cavil tonight, two outcomes would be possible:
a) Cavil gets lynched and all that's left is going after his widows;
b) Cavil doesn't get lynched and we lose a vital day - for each unsuccessful lynch results in either a dead Civ or a Colon alive for another day/night cycle.
I sincerely hope John Cavil's power is not very strong, because if he is in fact already lynchable, then leaving him alive until we kill his friends may not be optimal.
Speaking of which, when the hell will we know whether his entire crew is dead or not?
The only way we could be 100% certain of such a thing would be to kill ALL of the Colons (FF + models 2 to 8), unless, of course, we lynch him after all of the Cylons we perceive as bad are dead - but Epi, OA and Wilgy remain alive and we don't know for sure if they're Civ or Colon.
But I digress

Nerolunar: definitely town
Spacedaisy: definitely Mafia
I think the Admiral is doing a great job.
@sig: we need to kill Spacedaisy and G-Man. G-Man first.

Yep, people sent to the brig don't get to vote on the following day.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:I don't think it benefits town to silence anyone; that does nothing but inhibit the production of readable content. If the brig cancels a vote too, I would give Matt a break here and use it against a consensus top suspect whose vote might actually turn a lynch over.
Or just don't use it if you don't have to.

Either Spacedaisy or G-Man! There's Wilgy and OA, too, but I'd rather go after the first two.Nerolunar wrote:Okay, so who do I send to the brig today?
Any ideas?

I need to vote because I'm going to bed. I'm still leaning bad on you Epig but the point you are raising against Dex looks reasonable. Makes me wonder if Glorfindel really was bad/seemer. Out of the other F5 I like Juliets way more than Daisy.
Vote Dex
I'm thinking Nero may have BTSC with Juliets. My money is on Spacedaisy being mafia with Dex.
Totally cool with lynching her tomorrow.

You voted for me today and you say we're hurting the wrong people.ObscureAllure wrote:Go for it. Lynch me. You guys have been so blindly led by the Mafia (who aren't even effin CYLONS! for the most part!) to kill all the cylons. You want to kill all the good cylons while the bad humans win the game? Go for it.
PS: my vote for polo wasn't weird, it was annoyance for something he did to me. DERPPPPPPPPP

G-Man, which Cylon are you? Are you the non-ress Final Five or are you Aaron Doral?
I want to believe Caprica and Leoben are not Mafia but, honestly? ObscureAllure's playing has been detrimental to town in this game in the past few days. I'm ok with her suspecting me for being that sure S~V~S was mafia but I made my case and I trusted my gut. I'm satisfied with the result and I would have been punished if I had infodumped (or even falsely infodumped).
I don't think Obscure Six has BTSC with anyone. My money is on her being Indie.

Honestly, I have no idea. Boomer turned out to be Town, which is kinda against lore.juliets wrote:@Polo - do you believe Caprica Six is civ or an indy or bad? Could you explain why for any of those answers? I was impressed that you were able to name SVS as Cavil and so I tend to believe you on this but I'm not sure what to do with the info not being sure what alignment Caprica Six is.Polo wrote:Post #5
I think ObscureAllure is Caprica Six for reasons I've mentioned before; and I am as sure of this as I was of S~V~S being Colon.
I am sad that you decided to vote ME, OA, because I am civ and this is not a vote that will do any good to the civ team.
Why not go after Wilgy like you said previously, who is a confirmed Colon and one that you know is NOT Caprica Six?
@Obscure Allure - I have you down as bad because during the argument about whether you were going to state your alignment you kept saying you would be punished if you said "I am a cylon". Nobody else got punished for saying that so your reason seems suspicious to me. I assume you are a cylon and since you didn't claim you are a bad one but note my suspicion is based again on the reason you gave for not claiming. HOWEVER, Polo's post is interesting and depending on what he or others say in response to my questions i may move you off my baddie list. If you reply to this just don't expect an answer right away as I am trying to conserve my posts. I will be interested to hear why others see you as bad.
