Re: GAME OVER: BLUE vs. RED

LC was targeted night 3. We considered it for night 1 and he voted for llama in the first poll. Then he voted for llama on day 2 before changing his vote. We figured day 3 would be the best because even if he voted for llama again it would be so obvious and on the nose that we wouldn't suffer for it. Then he started defending us after we tried to kill him and it crossed my mind that he may have had a strange role where if we tried to kill him he would survive and then join our team without BTSC or our knowledge. Turns out he was just defending us for other reasons.

Epi wasn't targeted because we misunderstood the protector role and thought someone would be protected every night. We also wanted Epi around because he was lynching everyone but us. After Epi saved me and Quin died, llama and I agreed we would save Epi and LC for last.

In any case, you both really pulled it off. It was impressive.

Re: GAME OVER: BLUE vs. RED

I am honestly shocked that we won this game. JoH getting outed day 1 certainly didn't help, but it wasn't till a few days later when I was on the verge of getting lynched and Epi had started to express suspicion for llama that I was sure we were going to lose. I thought I would go and then llama would get lynched the next day. Then everyone voted for Quin and the rest, as they say, is history.

I had a shitload of fun, but I'm glad it's over lol

I fully support the redistribution of Hillary Points. I love Hillary Points and can't get enough of them. For a good portion of this game I've had the most Hillary Points behind a dead person (SVS). If Hillary liked SVS so much, then why was SVS booted from the administration?

If I was correct about the first two votes from yesterday being civ, then Wilgy, Epi, and I are civ. That only leaves llama and LC. That said, Epi and LC have largely been above suspicion in a game that's currently on night 6 with only one baddie lynched. I see it being either a llama/LC team or a Wilgy/Epi team. Despite my previous suspicion of Epi and my previous civ read on LC, I think a llama/LC team is more likely.

I just don't know. :sigh:

Re: Day 6- BLUE vs. RED

OK, so here's my thought process. It's down to two people who've been gunning for me for a while. One of them has been doing it without providing any form of justification by my recollection; and that's DFaraday. Then today he came in after I said that I thought the first two votes placed were civ votes and placed his vote on me to place me in this position. I think it was part of some odd plan to set me up if I lynched llama and the NK got blocked, and I'm not walking into that trap. I hope I'm doing the right thing.

Vote DFaraday.

This is a tough decision, and one I don't take lightly. I don't want to blow it for the civs. I'm especially troubled by faraday's vote, and I have a hard time believing that he didn't know what he was doing.

Re: Day 6- BLUE vs. RED

Also, I think that the people who've voted already are probably civ because I think mafia would sit back and wait for an opportunity, while civ would go with what they believe is right. I'm sure that's not correct 100 percent of the time, but I don't see any benefit to mafia voting right out of the gate at this stage in the game. Like I said, they may be able to force a tie if just one civ votes the wrong way.

Didn't hesitate to grab that straw, did you, Drowning Man?
If anything LC is being consistent, and it doesn't come off as consistency for consistency's sake to me.
Epignosis wrote:I am convinced thellama73 is bad. He campaigned hard for notsawyer, but now? Nothing. He's going after Long Con. He isn't genuine in his opinions.
I've openly suspected llama for a while now, but playing devil's advocate, more people than llama have campaigned either against people who were later revealed civ or against people who are still alive and they've changed our minds on. With respect to llama, if I was right about an attempted bus on me on day 1 to save Jack the only person left who could be blamed for it is llama.

I know we all need to vote eventually, but the votes put out currently are making me nervous. All it takes is a civ putting a vote in the wrong place and mafia can tie it up. Assuming two baddies are left (and assuming they haven't voted), then we're getting pretty close to lylo. So I'm gonna wait till the morning to make my decision after I've had my coffee and my head is clear. I've reevaluated my thoughts on Wilgy and at this stage I don't think I should vote for someone just because they've been under my radar. That brings me back to DFaraday and llama, who already have a vote a piece.

There is no "mistaken day thing". That didn't happen.
DF or Wilgy will likely get my vote. Despite my read on him, I'm not against voting for LC because of the wrong day thing. Re: Day 6- BLUE vs. RED

Forgive me for any typos, for I've just reunited with some Army buddies and I'm quite inebriated.

Current breakdown:

LC: I've had a civ read of him the entire game. Perhaps I'm mistaken and perhaps he's pulled a ruse on me, but he still strikes me as civ. The mistaken day thing is extremely disconcerting, and it'll factor heavily into my vote, but it won't DECIDE my vote.

Wilgy: Avoiding the Jack vote and generally being under my radar is disquieting. However, the "neat" comments don't strike me as something a baddier would do. If I were a baddie, I wouldn't comment "cool" when things happened. But that could be WIFOM. We've been pretty bad about catching the baddies this time, and Wilgy's been under my radar the whole time.

Epi: Defendended me two days ago after I attacked him and saved my life. I appreciate that, but it doesn't disqualify him from suspicion. He's brought up the Eloh thing quite a bit--almost too much. He helped us lynch the serial killer and a civ before saving me from a civ vs. civ lynch. I don't see a benefit from choosing one civ over another in a lynch lest it's a very clever ploy to make yourself seem civ.

llama: Still think he was piggybacking on Quin's idea that I made some sort of slip up on day 1, but he claims otherwise. He's given no other reason other than I was "equivocating." He's attacked me and questioned me repeatedly and unequally compared to other people. I think he's been trying to set me up for a lynch.

Dfaraday: Been one of the vote leaders for a while. He was the first person to flinch yesterday when LC evened out the votes iirc. He's been against me for a while; even when Epi changed his tune. I have a hard time seeing him bad due to his consistency, but I also have a hard time seeing him good seeing his lack of explanation for his votes. Lest I've missed it, I haven't seen much of an explanation of his suspicion of me other than "party line."

DF or Wilgy will likely get my vote. Despite my read on him, I'm not against voting for LC because of the wrong day thing. What discomforts me is not that part, but the part the next day where he evened up the votes between four people and said he was waiting to see who would flinch. Seems to me DF may be guilty because he was the first to flinch, LC may be guilty becuase he was trying to gain civ points by seeing who would, or they both are by setting up a way to subtly clear one or the other.

I'd sooner lynch DF.

This post came at 4:01 PM EST.

I think Long Con believed the lynch was ending in half an hour and he sailed in with a third vote on me. When he realized his error, he made up some convoluted nonsense about fishing for reactions.

So I name Dfaraday as my 3rd top suspect and he immediately votes for me--still without any sort of explanation other than saying that it's out of self-preservation despite the fact that he's not really on the chopping block in the same respect as I was yesterday.

I really don't want to vote out of self-preservation a second day in a row, but DF just put me ahead in votes and his "reasoning" seems scummy, so it may happen again. I KNOW I'm civ, but I don't know the same about any of you, so I'm gonna put myself first every time.

Re: Day 5- BLUE vs. RED

RIP Floyd. :(

Here are my thoughts now that I've caught back up:

llama - Still going along with Quin's idea that I'm bad because of one post I made on the first day. I find llama's piggybacking on this all the way into Day 5 to be pretty suspicious. Let's not forget too that llama was the penultimate person to vote to save me yesterday. Why save me and then immediately turn around and vote for me the next day? Definitely high on my suspects list.

Marmot - One of the original people to suggest not lynching Jack, who then piggybacked on my attack on Epi. As far as the whole "Epi is still alive so Marmot is bad" thing goes, I can see some validity in that argument in that Marmot tried to get Epi lynched when I was going after him but then backed off when it was clear it wouldn't work. Marmot comes off as opportunistic imo

DFaraday - He hasn't said much of substance other than that he's fine with Marmot or me getting lynched. No elaboration.

Epi - Helped save me yesterday despite my attacks. This could've been a baddie tactic to keep the vote between two civs and gain the trust of his most vocal opponent if it was successful. I'm still on the fence about him.

My vote will most likely be going to llama or Marmot today, but Dfaraday isn't far behind on my suspects list.

Same here. :(

Maybe I have enough Hillary points to buy my way out. They have to be good for something! Hillary points should count as free speech, and I'll take it all the way to the Supreme Court if I have to!

Linki: That's what I was saying when I said Mac, DF, or Floyd would have to change votes.

Re: Day 4- BLUE vs. RED

I didn't see that. What I gather is either LC and llama are both civ and LC found out about llama's alignment because of some game mechanic we're not aware of, or they both have btsc and LC was trying to take some of the heat off llama. Do you see any other explanations?

That's what I inferred from it too. However, even if you, llama, and Epi were to vote for Quin, I would still get lynched. Unless I punched things in wrong on the calculator, there are only a few ways I live at this point:

1. Mac changes his vote to Quin.
2. Either Dfaraday or Floyd change their vote to Quin.
3. Everyone voting for Quin (as well as you, llama, and Epi) piles on Floyd instead

I would rather lynch llama than quin, but like Epi said, there's just not enough time.

Re: Day 4- BLUE vs. RED

We would need llama, dfaraday, or floyd to change their vote.

I've changed mine to Quin as well.

Re: Day 4- BLUE vs. RED

Out of Quin and Wilgy I would be more comfortable voting for Quin. While I would prefer to keep my vote on my top suspect, I'm amenable to changing it to someone else I think could be bad out of self-preservation. I KNOW I'm civ, but I can't say the same about Quin or Wilgy.

Re: Day 4- BLUE vs. RED

Epi, why should people vote for Wigly?

Marmot and Wilgy, why should people vote for LC?

Mac, why should people vote for Floyd?

Quin, llama, Dfaraday, and Floyd; why should people vote for me?
