I am thinking Scotty is using a randomizer of some kind, or a dicing program, to determine how much of what happens. Like how many of my shots went it, or how much food was gathered, how much success in tasks, etc.

I would think that people who need to eat should get food, since the water thing did not say we only had enough water for ourselves.

Since food is not as much of an issue for me, I might wait a day and perhaps explore. Since napping during challenges seems to have a detrimental effect (unless that bit about Faraday being behind due to his napping was just flavor?). Or maybe get back to that shelter or fire. Maybe Sorsha and Epi who ate should work on the shelter?

I have played a Survivor themed game before, and while the set up was both similar and different in ways from this, my guess is that human nature is the same. The tribe that is in the majority when the tribes merge is going to almost certainly vote the minority tribe members off in preference to their own given an equal participation scenario. So we don't want to go into that situation from a position of weakness.

It is at times like this that I miss the RM chatbox. In the Survivor game there, Juliets and I kept calling people into the thread in the chatbox, lol.

So once you guys get it straight, I assume sig, Quin & MP will be assigned to throw more balls and climb the pole if they don't make their own choices?

And I have character traits too, but at this stage my main concern is winning winning winning these challenges. I don't think any of that would help. My hunger is 15, and that is the only "bonus" I have.

The fewer times we have to lynch in our tribe, the better my odds as an individual are. So I think we need to be forthright about our strengths, both as actual people (like for instance, based on what Google told me about my role, I bet that person can solve riddles really well, but I can't, so *pointless*) and through what strengths we have assigned as bonuses, if any. So if we have a food crisis, I will likely last longer if that is something that comes into play at a later time.

No by nimble I meant that I was small. My person is not a large person.

Well, at this point, I don't think it is a problem, we're a team until the point when...we aren't anymore, lol. And at that point I am not sure if it is not out of our hands. I think it would be wise, though, to, should we get temp night BTS with anyone on the other tribe, we not fill them in on our strengths, weaknesses, etc. For the forseeable future, it is us against them. I assume we will merge tribes at some point? Then things will re align. But if we want to win these challenges, we need to understand our own strengths and work with them.

That said, I don't have any strength or other kinds of bonuses. I do apparently have a higher hunger level, but no specific "strengths" outside of thirst, hunger, strength.

We really need to beat DH or we will never ever hear the end of it.

Looking at the players list, I am going to guess that there is someone more nimble than I on it. So I am going to go for task #2.

Choosing to be Person 1 on Task #2, I am going to shoot 28 light balls.

So if there is a flaw in my reasoning re how to achieve this, we can course correct on Persons #2 and #3.

There are nine options and nine of us. I wonder if we are supposed to each pick one, like in the Zero poll?

Well, I will decide if I am 1 or 2 if/when Scotty clarifies re the # of balls we can shoot. I don't have willpower or strength or anything extra like that.

@Scotty~ is there a limit to the number of balls we can shoot overall and per person in each weight category?

OK, I relooked at my role, and I don't feel that feats of strength are for me, and I am bad at riddles. So I can do one or two.

I think I am fairly nimble, so I can volunteer to do the first thing, shimmying up the post and untying the bags of balls. Or I can do the second, based on the number of attempts/balls we can make.

Whatever the group decides.

So far we have 2 of the 4 positions for Number 4 set, correct? And we are hoping Epi does #3? MP or Faraday might do well at that as well.

So if one of us takes the balls option, and chooses to throw 25 light balls, would they have to make 25 posts, or just say that they were choosing to do this? I ask since time allowance are given.

Becasue I will take one of the Task 2 positions if I can shoot a large number of light balls.

Also on Task 2, what is the best option for ball choice?

Like if three people choose small, with no energy penalty, how many balls are they allowed to shoot? If they can shoot 20, then @ 4 each should go in. So we would make the 8 shots then.

I don't see where it says we have a limited number of balls to work with?

Looking at the poll options, I am wondering if the people who do the tasks today should take a break tomorrow. Like half the poll things are things that are work, fishing and building and carrying water, all use resources. Taking walks and napping, not so much. So tomorrow, those who did the active things should maybe take the naps, etc?

OK, well we have Epi, MP and LC who are all good organizers here in the day, so hopefully we get our shit together

The third section is different in that it actually has to be solved whereas the other sections are probability/time based, so we'd ideally put someone who's good with riddles there. I remember Epi's performance in Psych so if he's as good at solving riddles as he is creating them he's probably our guy. Up to him though.
