Yeah, I have had glasses since I was 4, so I feel your pain. But I got my first contacts when they were hard lenses, wow they are so much more comfortable now. I honestly forget I have them in.

Metalmarsh won that for us. He hung onto that rezz like a miser. I got annoyed at him a bit for it as some points, but he was a zillion percent right to hold it.

Recruitment 3 was my best game, Llamas Harry Keeler probably my most fun, I had such outstanding BTS there. Tied with World Reborn for fun, MM and multi Dutchies FTW!

I really enjoyed hosting American Gods. Juliets is always a dream to work with, and watching my Loki have SUCH a great game and so much fun assembling his team is what hosting is all about for me.

You should reboot that game, Daisy. I skipped that one. The game before it, Martian Mafia, was my first game and I got NKed night 1, so it put me off Mafia a bit. So I skipped Firefly & then played That 70's Mafia. I always regret missing that one.

He was the one on the far right. My Mom,in blue,was next to him. They were all kinda drunk, lol.

My Uncle John passed away tonight; I know some of you knew he was sick & in hospice, most did not, as is the way of the internet. He was the youngest of my mothers siblings and the last one alive. He was a very average, hard working guy, like millions of others. A truck driver. Important to those close to him, just one of the human herd to everyone else. He was the funny drunk uncle, and he openly favored me above my cousins. He made an awesome krumkake, an ass kicking hot toddy, and made an oil change seem do-able to a 16 year old girl.

He was my uncle. You all have one like him. Call him tonight & tell him you love him. It will make him very happy.

I lived in Montana at the time, but I grew up in New York. I had worked IN NYC for several years, and as of 9/11 my father still did, on Wall Street. not in the towers themselves, but about a block away.

I got phone calls waking me up just in time to turn on CNN &see the second plane smash into the second tower live. It took a few minutes to digest what i had seen. By the time the 4th plane, the one that went down in PA, Flight 93, I thought World War 3 was starting.I spent most of the rest of the day trying to call friends & family in NY. Pretty much all the circuits were down, so it was a long long day. When i finally got through to my brother, who had spoken to my father, I was so relieved.

I knew three people who died, no one I knew very well; my friend Mary Ellens oldest brother, Rocco, was a fireman. I had a huge crush on him in 6th grade. An old friend of my husbands, Hammy, was a banker in one of the towers when the planes hit. The third was this kid I used to baby sit, Paul. He worked in the restaurant in the towers, Windows on the World. I did not find out he had died for a long time though, maybe 2 years. All of those poor people.

Yesterday i was going to the beach for a BBQ, and i stopped at a market not far from the beach. Almost everyone in there was in casual beachwear. On the way out, I saw an older gentleman at one of the registers, and I swear to God, what he made me think of was that that was how Llama would look as an old man.

His grooming was impeccable; his hair & mustache were snow white & neatly groomed. he wore (Pressed!) khakis with dress shoes, a navy blazer & a cravat (!!) on a 90 degree day.
