The Cthulhu Stomp

[Sung to the tune of The Monster Mash]

I was working on deciphering some eldritch tome
Sitting comfortably in my Arkham home
When suddenly I felt something that gave me a chill
A violent quaking at my windowsill

There was a stomp!
It’s the Cthulhu Stomp
(Cthulhu Stomp)
Merely an Elder God romp
(it was a stomp)
He rose out of the swamp
(A fetid swamp)
It’s the Cthulhu Stomp

The moon was waxing gibbous in the sky so weird
Shining down on Starspawn that made me afeared
One of them looked at me and said “Hey man, are you hep?
Why don’t you come on out and boogie with Nyarlathotep?”

He did the stomp!

A Love Letter to Cthuhlu

I'm in love with a boy named Cthulhu.
If I could take you on a date we'd get curry.
I get madras and you'd get vindaloo.
Are you hungry? C'mon, let's hurry.

Off at the beach then we would stand.
You swim so easily, with all those tentacles.
Your wings make angels in the sand.
The sun on your feelers is today's pinnacle.

Next we'd go off to the pictures.
Finally, alone at long last in the dark,
smelling the way you do, of salty tinctures
Deep within my chest, I'd feel quite the spark.

After some tea, we head for the zoo.
You might not be a mongoose, llama or wombat,
But you'll always be my boo.
No matter what, you can't stop that.

But I'm just a peon, and you are a god.
I may be cute, but still - humans are lame!
So I'll weep and whine and lust for your bod,
And get down to business; it's time for the game!

You see where we're going with this?

Write a poem about Cthulhu; an ode to his awesomeness, a haiku, an Epic. Any form you like. It does not even have to rhyme Submit it to Juliets & I via PM, and It will then be submitted for the approbation of ALL the Gods (and Titans), which will result in one winner.

If you won the first contest, you can submit, but you cannot win. If your entry wins the popular vote, you will know how awesome you are, but the next highest entry will get the gold

24 hours to write it and submit it, and another 24 to vote on it (via Bolded Post).

This is also open to new sign ups, so long as the submission is in by 7 PM Eastern tomorrow night, Thursday, 9/19 (TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY MY THIRD FAVORITE THING).

For purposes of the contest (not debate, lol) we are looking for non-Judeo/Christian Gods since finding pictures of Jesus would be too easy Although technically, he is an avatar and not a God, we WILL accept Buddha in his various incarnations. The God must be recognizable (or able to be Googled) dieties, no made up by you Gods~ we will accept recently um, recognized Gods like the FSM, & Cthulhu.

You have 48 hours from now to submit your finds

1~ Find a picture of a Diety with an animal

2~ Find a picture of a Diety that IS an animal

3~ Find a Video of a Diety dancing

4~Find a picture of Gods from two (or more) different pantheons together

5~Find a picture of a family of Dieties

6~Find a picture of three Goddesses together

7~Find a picture of the most AWESOME GOD EVER looking either especially ferocious OR especially cute <3 (if you don't know, look at my sig. Look at the question. Look at my sig, OK, it's Cthulhu, consider this a freebie)

8~ Find a picture (or video) of several Gods (preferably a whole pantheon, but more than 5 will be good) rendered in cartoon form (or anime form)

9~Find a picture/video of a God from either South Park, Family Guy or the Simpsons

10~If you could theoretically worship any God (other than the one you currently worship (or the one you Grandma thinks you worship) which God would it be? Two pictures/videos and a link to a website about that God (NOT Wikipedia, plz)
