The point isn't to "make lists of people you don't suspect", it is to make a list that

1. is no larger than the number of TKs we have left, and

2. maximizes the probability of containing all wolves subject to constraint 1.

I think we play differently. I am not sure what a TK is?

I looked at the remaining players, and cleared them *for me*. I don’t think Neon is bad based on her reaction to Lucy’s lynch. I don’t think Rondo is bad although I do think he is overwhelming at times, lol. But I also think his thread interactions clear him to my mind. I don’t think I’m bad because I got my role card, and I think Golden cleared Splints.

I thought the PoE was to eliminate the people you don’t think are bad? I did that and am left with Roxy.

One day at a time imo. She’s my best suspect so that’s where I’m voting

If Rox is the last wolf, I think we had *three* good wolves who could have slaughtered us all if all three of them had not had real life issues or time constraints. I think maybe it was just bad luck on their part more so than bad wolfing. I have never played with Lucy before, but I bet that in optimal conditions, she's an amazing wolf, and I know both Rox and Mata are, too.

And in thread games, you can interact while not in the thread at the same time. What this means to me is that you never had any suspects or opinions strong enough for me to comment on them; to agree, disagree or think about. And Roxy is a strong minded person, who generally holds strong opinions and doesn't much care what others think of them. And, even though I've played my usual aggressive game, you never felt the need to agree or disagree with anything I said other than OT. We both like teams, and when town you're a consensus builder, like me. You didn't try to engage in that way, and I didn't even notice it.

And I get you about tone, I don't think I will ever blast the reasons for my tone reads ever again, although I do realize the joy Ariya has added to your life, and that can give you a new perspective.

And as I said to Neon, there is no "let" when you're playing a game with adults. They do what they do; you way try to talk them out of things, but ultimately you can't make them do (or stop them from doing) what you want them to do.

With Lucy I *knew* in my heart that she was bad. From early on, too. I could be wrong here, I have no info. But I have no reason to think you're *not* bad

I am hoping to hear Splints perspective, she has been townreading you as well, and maybe has better reasons than I did.

Years ago on a site that doesn’t exist anymore, I went rogue, in a similar, not the same way. I was town and had been recruited into a team I had been working hard to elim. I was so demoralized and unhappy, I refused to go to their chat or participate. I didn’t work actively against them but I outed myself and became a null. Looking back on it I’m embarrassed and wish I hadn’t done so, but in the heat of the moment, at the time, it made sense. Not the same situation, but a similar end result.

People are free agents, and unpredictable. Lucy wanted to go down on her own terms, imo, and I would guess there prolly wasn’t much her team could do to stop her.

Oh yeah I’m ashamed of this. It wasn’t my best moment. I mainly brought it up in that people are unpredictable and the team can control them only as far as thry allow themselves to be controlled.

But we also usually had two bad teams and often an SK to boot, so it was different dynamics. With two bad teams, they can’t both be seizing the narrative.

@RondoDimBuckle I couldn't figure out who her team even was until I went to the bad chat. I skim read through all 279 of her posts, involving mostly people I don't know lol. Hard to follow.

I saw nothing like what Neon did in this game, and her overall game demeanor was very different, her style if you will. It looks like her partner perhaps defended her, but not anything like she did here.

I will reread her here, but tbh, I still think she's town. I still don't see a bad Neon going to that extreme.

So I'm going to slot her out of the PoE and back into townread.

Now I have to go find your Lucy confrontations. I read them at the time, but I need to reread them.

@fingersplints can you do me a favor? Pretend you don't know Roxy, and read her posts and tell me if you still think she's town if she's a rando, not Roxy?

I love Rox, and if she’s bad she was put in a bad position at EOD yesterday, and that sucks, but she’s the best I’ve got for now so I’m gonna park a vote there.

I don’t have 3, I haven’t finished rereading ISOs yet. I have 1 stronger and one/two based on other peoples reads not my own, I have to read more for elimination.

I have been clearing Roxy based on tone, and I’ve clearly signaled I think a measured Roxy is a civ Roxy. When I reread her today, I see no reason to clear her based on content. Pulling quotes on phone is a PITA so I won’t do it. But I can’t clear her from association with Mata/Vivax or Lucy. Her only interactions with me were mainly OT. Jolly and cheerful, just as I’ve repeatedly signaled I expect a civ Roxy to be.

And back to tone, she WAS super tolerant to Lucy who called her “Fucking Roxy”, which would be where I would think lashing out would be NAI, I was expecting it to happen, and it didnt, which is a thing that makes you go hmm.

Plus that last elim, she was going to catch up, posted OT and never really said anything more. She was in the thread at EOD as Woof Lucy was outing herself, and she never posted or voted. It must be stressful when your teammate is flaking out, while you’re trying to catch up. Certainly supposition on my part, but still. Another thing that makes you go hmm.

I’ve been townreading her all game, and it’s all on tone, so not so much anymore after the reread. If I had Toto vote now, that would be my cote, but I hope to hear from her.

Second and third, Rondo seems convinced Neon would aggressively defend a baddie teammate, so I want to read her in the game he referred me to before I continue to clear her. If not for that she would be townlock for me. So she’s back in the POE. I also reread Bea this AM, and when she posted it was big posts with lots of words and names, but not much opinion. I’ve heard it called player salad iirc? So I was clearing her on tone too. And I have no idea how to read Rondo. I was town clearing him based on his Lucy interactions, but I haven’t actually had a chance to read them yet. I’ve also thought he’s been trying super hard to solve with his scenarios. Which I thought looked more town than not. So also to PoE, but I’m nowhere near to a cote for either Neon or Rondo.

So Rox is a suspect, Neon and Rondo are in the PoE pending more reading.

Everyone else I have reason to think they’re town, and no real reason to think they’re not.

I guess no one says “RIP” anymore? I said I was sorry to see him go because I’m sorry to see him go. He was a great doctor, he prevented two kills and I’d guess died because he finally made some small pushback against Goldens case, and protected someone else when he should have protected himself.

And it was weird because a baddie outed themselves, gave up her strategy and tried to get someone to talk about why they suspected her and asked who the cop was.

I've seen Maf out themselves near EOD when their death seems certain, but it's not very often that's true.


Asking who the cop was in a sort of nonchalant way is not strange at all IMO, and probably her best bet to get some info for her team while doing the "good game, good game" handshake outro

Where are you at on Roxy and Rondo? (I’m thinking here of rondo as bea and reevaluating reads on friends.)

I’m going to reread them tomorrow as well as splints and you. Obvs with the role claim my town read on you stands, but I want to see interactions too, so I’ll pull in Mata too.

I still have to reread Bea, but Rondo I think is incompatible with Lucy. Lucy’s discussion with him after she was outed doesn’t look like distancing to me, it looked real. But having seen some skilled distancing between you and Quin in Game 1, we know that can be faked by a skillful baddie and I would bet Rondos bad game and civ game are super similar. Chaos players usually are.

I did a quick skim of Roxy looking for our interactions, and found that they’ve all been pretty much OT. So imma do a full read there. Looking back it looks like my entire read of her is tone. And at this stage of the game I’d like more than tone.

I've seen Maf out themselves near EOD when their death seems certain, but it's not very often that's true.


Asking who the cop was in a sort of nonchalant way is not strange at all IMO, and probably her best bet to get some info for her team while doing the "good game, good game" handshake outro

Nope I haven’t. Not even Kate who is a super good friend. But Scotty was the first power role. He did a super good job and I thought he at least deserved a salute.

Yeah, I do recall some of that, asking other people for reads of oneself is not something I recall being done when i was more active. I also found how, after she outed herself, she tried to engage you. When I've seen people do that in the past, they were trying to make that person look *suspicious*, by in effect saying, "You took me down!" and shaking their fist at you, kinda over mustache twirling to give you faux cred, if you take my meaning. But in your case, I think she was actually being honest. I expected either you or I to be NK.

For instance, I spent a lot of time last day period reading her after kate died. The way she came in and said, "Dennis, give me a summary", and got annoyed that Kate was dead posting, I *KNEW* she was bad bad bad. I suspected it before but I knew it then. So when she basically said separating Dennis and Kate was her plan, I believed it.

Since you seem to know her game pretty well, what did you think of that whole thing?

Yes she would, she has also admitted as much in this game. I have seen her do as much in KOTH.

I think I’d have those three exactly reversed.

For me SVS saying I was trying to guilt her for wolfreading Lucy when I asked lucy if she was neurodiverse, is an inordinately large hurdle to cross for me now that lucy has wolf flipped.

I think the only reason SVS says that is because I actually did make her feel bad. And I don’t think she feels bad if it’s her wolfmate.

I felt like a bully, and with my Capn Obvious bluntness issues, this has always been a problem for me. No one likes feeling like they’re a bad person.

I picked this because it's the only EoD that was ever in doubt. And there's a wagon that's almost entirely flipped.

Next question. Why is SVS alive?

They thought getting rid of a very successful doctor was more important? He lightly pushed back against the “why didn’t anyone object” thing re Goldens Seanzie case.

I carried one strong suspect through the game, and after I backed off her, I floundered until I picked her back up. I would guess I have been town reading whoever the last is.

How neon treated lucy yesterday is EXACTLY how I would expect wolf neon to treat lucy yesterday. I am not pushing that atm because I am confbiased and if we dont find any smoking gun I am yeeting that before lylo because I will turbo it

I asked this yesterday but didn’t get an answer. Is really aggressive bad/bad defense more normal now? Because for us OF folk, we’d never never do that. So if this is a thing that actually happens, I would have to consider that.

I pretty much townlocked her after that yesterday because I couldn’t picture a bad teammate defending that hard.
