Re: Frisky Dingo ENDGAME

I have seen people lynched with 2 votes.

You were lynched becasue i was a doof & voted for you without thinking that my vote was worth two, and voting early-ish on Day One was the stoopidest thing i could do. And I done did it. I was SO rooting for anyone but you to die, lol, once I realized what i had done.

She had Daisy and MP basically disappear on her because of the wedding, Cookie who desperately didn't want to be a baddie, and Russ who got himself lynched almost instantly, and she still came really close to pulling it off. If she had survived this lynch and one more, she would have won.

Interesting side note, .Roxy had a lynch stop from one of the contests, and she was Mister Ford, so there was a possibility that her and SVS would be the last two players alive during a night phase. Roxy would have then gained Killface's Night Kill as a power, and they both would have killed each other, causing no one to win. I'm kind of sad that didn't happen.
To be fair, she did play a major role in getting me lynched haha. I lost two ties! And now it's 2 for 2 that when I am on SVS's team, we lose because she misses a vote (the other was Twin Peaks). And this time she missed after bemoaning how inactive her team was all game.

Im not bitter or anything, SVS. Even If you had tied the lunch it was a long shot, and you were put in a tough spot by your teammates. Just trying to say that llama is making me sound like a total deadbeat here, and I was actually trying to help as much as my schedule and game circumstances allowed.
You weren't a deadbeat, we just had bad timing. I hate bussing, and did not want to do it, but I figured you had RL, and literally I voted for you as a desperation move, and went to the chatroom, and there you were, lol. I felt horrible, but I was barely holding it over water, backtracking would have been fatal for us both.

Really, the main reason we lost is that I totally forgot my own power (double vote) day one and voted carelessly, and spent the rest of the game playing hide & seek. You did the best you could with a bad hand, a bad hand dealt mostly by me, as you say :hugs:

Re: Frisky Dingo ENDGAME

Tell me about it, lol. I was busy all weekend with family things since my parents moved this weekend from a long time family home and I was the only one of 5 of us ( :pout: ) available to them. So I had zero computer time, and really hardly any phone time. Bad time to be up to the line in two games :)

Awesome game Llama, sorry Russti. I waited DAYS for you before I bussed you, and then five minutes after I finally heave you under, who shows up in the chatroom? :derp:

I had a great time NKing low posters like back in the old days. Sorry DP, I kinda had no choice there. I was targeted the night before with a tell or protect, and I chose the protect. The only person I was able to eliminate from being that role with any certainty was you. G Man was the only strategic kill, but I felt bad about killing him right before his hiatus, but we were really trying to win it at that point, we knew the numbers were tight and it was possible.

Re: Frisky Dingo [DAY 7]

Right. We got the baddie, so the people that voted for the baddie have to be the baddie. OK.

Sorry so absent, my parents are moving this weekend from a HUGE 2.5 floor house plus full finished basement, to 1,400 square feet ranch with a half basement. They THINK they downsized (they had a garage sale, gave away 2 bedroom sets, and the basement furniture) but still have, for instance, a massive (with leaves seats up to 18) dining room, a kitchen set and a family room snack/card table dining set, but only have a small dining room & eat in kitchen :hmm:

Most of this week past, plus yesterday was finishing up the last minute packing, and getting thing ready for the movers, who are over there now. This after noon all the extended siblings converge on the tiny new house (where we all park in the street, not having a paved lot for 10 cars at this house, lol) and help empty boxes, position furniture, and watch our parents crumble as they face reality. We have been trying to explain that downsize means not just the house, but the stuff in it, too, but they are having issues with it. They have a chair with a 50 year old grape juice stain, for the love of God! (I was a spilly kind of kid) And a rug with a 40 year old grape juice stain (so was Kirsten, lol). Ha ha ha.

Good Times ;)

Re: Frisky Dingo [DAY 6]

I am sorry if I am frustrating. For years I played this way, and now I find that I am not aggressive enough or whatever enough for other peoples tastes, and tbh half the time I just don't care becasue whatever i say gets blown off. Most games I feel redundant and useless becasue I play differently than most people becasue I think differently than most people. Why bother trying? That is frustrating to me. I think of Mafia as an ensemble game, not as follow the leader. And recently it seems that everyone wants to be a leader, but no one wants to follow. I just wanted people to take a leap of faith and trust me and lynch Russti. I think you would not regret it. But

And I feel that Saberfish has sounded sincere, if frustrated, most of the game. He sounds like he's flying solo to me. And I have been saying this shit the whole game, what do you mean, "why wait"? :haha:

I feel like what I say doesn't matter much, I always feel like I'm phoning it in. I took a page from Roxys book, when she said she was not enjoying Mafia as much, and she went and played somewhere else. Maybe that is what I need to do for a while, too.

I think SVS is bad bc she is still holding onto a weak Day 1 suspicion and has not bothered to offer up anymore.
A weak Day One suspicion? Seriously?

Daisy was so bad, and it astonishes me that no one else can see that. She was not even bothering to try and act civ. Her first reaction was a weak defense of MP, then she just gave up and threw him under the bus. Of course he was a baddie. Of course his killer did the right thing.

You know me better than anyone here; you saying that I am just holding onto a weak day one suspicion astounds me, tbh. Very seriously, it does. I don't do this shit unless I am sure, and I am, in my gut I am sure. But I figure let you all lynch Saberfish, see that he ISN'T bad and maybe you'll listen to me.

Now that is a surprise. For two reasons. I was sure that DP was going to be taken out by the baddies; he is the last low poster. And I am also surprised there were Xtacles left. This game did not need baddies with that role around, lol. Especially since he was guaranteed to hit a civ, and it was automatic, no PM needed. Yikes.

I have not changed my mind on Russ/Daisy. I think she was phoning it in, and did not even bother trying to hide it. But rather than trying to force horses to water, I will go with the flow today and not spend my vote so quickly.

Or if you think there's something to it (which clearly you do), make a case of your own about me. Or even suspect her for being defiantly lazy. A suspicion with no case whatsoever has no actual merit in a real game of mafia.
Not sure where the info idea came from, but I don't have any. And sorry if you think I play a shitty game, but sometimes you just *know* and come in and tell it like it is. Right Epi?

Sometimes you just strongly believe someone is bad. Based on her one long post saying my thoughts re Epi & MP were wrong, then her perfunctory vote for MP with no transition between two positions leads me to believe that she was phoning it in and not being sincere. I don't buy it.

It's actually a fairly common ploy. Although I thought it was just baddies having lulz insanifying the guy with the self imposed speech affectation. But what you say is possible. And it wasn't forced re my day one thoughts on Epi & MP. It never fully left my head, tbh, but it is also possible he was just trying to hlp MP out since he was going to be afk for 10 days. The fact that Epi dropped it, and went hard after Cookie (sorry but I don't think he bussed her; a new person who hated baddieness would be someone Epi would try to encourage, not the opposite). There is no point in being the first to throw a teammate under the bus, and then never stop throwing her over & over & over again. I kinda switched in my head to Daisy throwing MP under the bus. The way she blew off my thoughts on Epi & MP, but then came back to skewer MP gave me pause, alot of it. So I am still hoping to hear from Russti. Wedding has been over for days.

Wow, what a bloody game! :faint:

The Xtacles are taking a beating. MM was an Xtacle, and Timmer their "leader". Scotty, LC & DH all exploded, so had to have been Xtacles. DH surprises me, I had another role in mind for him. And Stan could be anyone, since it does not look like he actively needs to *do* anything to kill Xtacles, just be alive.

The baddies have killed someone who is generally quieter on topic without BTS, a low poster & someone who asked to be replaced. So I am not really seeing a strategic element to the kills. As opposed to the random killer who is taking out power players; the Xtacles were stacked. Very unusual game.

It's gonna be a looooong day phase for those of us not traveling to Ohio.

I hope to hear what Russ has to say in general. I was fairly sure Daisy was bad, but I guess it is possible she was distracted, lol.
