Becasue I wanted bea, really. I had a short list, but once I was sure bea was not bad (tbh I thought she was civ, but she did have no bts, next best thing, I was right about her not being bad) I tried to join with her night one, but was blocked, I assume. It failed. Night two I officially targeted No One so i could get past double targeting, and Night Three it went through

It was so much fun. We had phone BTS and plotted. She really was playing for the civs, she said as much in the PM she sent to MP night 4, it was extremely softball. She targeted him to make a case on someone he had already voted for. Then she died Night 4 So the rest of the game, I had no real agenda except staying alive. There were one or two times I was like *meh*, but I am glad I tried and won becasue I did not realize that "sharing win conditions" meant that SHE won if *I* survived. So I am super pleased I stuck it out. She was so into her role and had some great plans, I was pretty bummed when she died.

OK, so I am the suck at role guessing ha ha. I thought Typhoony was the Scarecrow ha ha ha. But I was impressed with Bullz conviction, and Dom being a baddie was OK for me. But @Bullz, had we voted Lorab, we would have went Dom next night and one more would have been crowed, OR who knows what shenanigans Enrique would have gotten up to. I think you Scarecrowed peeps were never gonna get saved, so you got the rest of us the max # of winners. Really, don't beat yourself up.

I voted for Dom becasue Bullz is really riding that pony, he believes it in a very real way. But the LoRab case is good too, imo. It just did not have a true believer.

I suppose it is as possible as anyone else. I did not like her pointing back at DH. I agree with her about the lying. I agree with her Robin point. Targeting people with getting rid of a confirmed (basically) civ is super hard unless they are a baddie with a kill.

I think with the info we have, this is pulling a needle out of a haystack. GTH, if I had to vote right now it would be Enrique. By bringing it up he built in his own WIFOM, and got us to start tunneling in on each other, perhaps lynching each other willy nilly while giving him the BOTD. It would be a smart move. But that is total supposition on my point, based on what *I* would do. And unlike DH, I don't think,as players, Enri & I have much in common.

SVS - You defended DH really hard saying he would have definitely targeted you, I believe we had a discussion about it but I'm super tired and am being lazy as fuck not looking it up. You did agree that it's possible that DH was simply blocked and/or you were protected at some point, though, right?

I was thinking maybe it was Dom, too, but I don't think Dom would march into the thread a day after we started to take the Scarecrow hunt seriously and announce "oh hai guys i was scarecrow'd too haha".

I defended DH really hard becasue I believe it.

The Scarecrow is a fairly malicious role. It is up with a kill; trashing someones win condition. In addition, in most game, people don't discuss who targeted who with what when. This is somewhat unusual, what we are doing here. With players presuming targeting would be kept in some confidence, I doubt DH is the Scarecrow.

Now, and I am somewhat hesitant to discuss this, but this is why I think what I think. DH & I have a fairly adversarial relationship. I don't mean in the friendly rivalry way, I mean with one or two carefully written posts, we can drive each other into absolute paroxysms of anger. We have both driven each other away from playing in the past. If I had a power like that, if nothing serious had happened to me on day one, I would use it on one of two people that were playing this game, and DH is one of them. Not for personal reasons, but becasue I can be fairly sure that at some point, our mutual mistrust would surface, and I would have to fight him off. Giving him an alternate win condition might distract him, lol.

And I think he & I are much alike that way, probably in a lot of ways much as neither of us would like to admit that; it's probably part of why we fight alot. It is totally possible he was blocked on another night if he tried to target me. I looked and could find no reason for him to target Golden. Perhaps I am being narcissistic, but this is what I think.

While I cannot say he is not a baddie (I have never killed DH night one, becasue it would point a giant finger at me, and I don't recall him ever doing the same; this goes back to the point I made about public knowledge of targetting being a consideration here), I am pretty sure he is not a secret targeter like the Scarecrow.

OK this rules out Juliets completely for me.

She has probably been reading the thread closer than anyone. At least one suggestion came up for an easy Scarecrow condition, plus I am sure the hosts will take a PM saying someone is choosing not to target anyone. Juliets, imo, would not have used the role of a known living player had she been the SC and targeted someone last night.

I would not put it past any of the rest of us, though, lol. But it does not look like a Juliets move to me.

No, but neither of us believes Juliets would target us were she the scarecrow until she had no other options, and I believe she said so herself. So I was curious if anyone needed us dead to win. If so that might lower my conviction that she is that role.
