I wonder if the new role order has been redistributed as well. The plague joining right before phase 2 could make a long game become very very short.

Maybe I should run a new version with a smaller cast. And I could Americanize it. Light Turner as the main character, for example.

For simplicity's sake, Watari's name with actually be Watari. Misa will be Mia. Get rid of most of Light's family, they don't matter. Same for the investigation team.

Light, Mia, L, Watari, Ryuk, Police Chief Turner, and that's it. A simple, 6-person game, with two mafia and a third party. Sounds balanced and fun.

You should read the setup of the one that was played here. It's fucking nuts in a good way.
