I have absolutely no idea how to feel about nutella. I'm probably about as frustrated about it as she is.
Every time I start feeling right about things, Nut either rationalizes or pulls back (as she just may have done) to make me start second-guessing myself.

Re: [DAY 2] Courage the Cowardly Dog Mafia
I'd be more gung ho about lynching LC if he were here to yell at me for it.
I could at least get something out of that. But then, there are a lot of absent-ish players, and only 3.5 hours left (not all of which I'll be around for).

Re: [DAY 2] Courage the Cowardly Dog Mafia
Take a look at my recent scum games. Greece. Fire Emblem. Fellowship of the Ring. Probably even Mortal Kombat.
Now look at my most recent civ games. Buffy. GoC - Pikachu tribe. (Excluding U-Pick, because I was burnt out as heck in that game.)
When did I lead town?
When did I fall back?
When did I post content like a madman?
Look at the post counts. Which players posted more than me (especially in these games, where I survived till near the end of the topic)?
Are any of them present in this game?
I'm not going to try to convince you based on my meta. But you can come to your own conclusions. If your argument is coming from a good place, I don't have time to distrust you. I have hunting to do.

Re: [DAY 2] Courage the Cowardly Dog Mafia
Back from lunch.
Lots of tasty giblets being posted.
And my problem with it not being 'genuine' is that, if you are scum, you chose me as someone to lead a train against. Am I really the easy mislynch scum looks for? (Granted, I was lynched first in a few of my games on this site, but still.)
I lean toward this line of suspicion being genuine. Colin was bothered by it too, and he's in my top town ranks.

I don't actually know whether this is genuine or not. My last two town games (and my last scum game) have been super undisciplined, so I could see where you are drawing that from.nutella wrote: ↑Thu Jun 21, 2018 1:51 pm Ugh I have the worst headache in the world today and am barely functional at work so I apologize in advance if I don't get much hunting in today. But I see your point.
TBF I don't care about Ramsey at all right now. If he can soak up a mafia nightkill before we lynch him, I'm down with that. If we lynch him by accident, that's cool. Besides, we may not even have to kill Ramsey depending on how the game ends up. We have weird win-cons in OP.

Showcasing genuine effort, in her analytical approach to Sig's suggestion and her read of LC.
Went with Vompatti's random D1 lynch, which... IDK what to think about that.

"I missed a lot and no one is talking about me just farting around over here." - pls talk about Scotty. He wants us to.
"Farting around" is a good description of Scotty's play this game. His accusations are muddy, his conclusions are unsubstantiated and wrong.
His playstyle doesn't seem to have anything behind it. It's like it exists for the sake of existing. That doesn't mean 'scum', but it makes me leery.

His observation of my (very-recent) meta is spot on.
I like the questions he's asking. They point to someone who doesn't know the state of the game.
His defense for the "coin-flip" vote felt genuine. Not someone who is overthinking his posts.

Responded decently to my early pressure question.

I dislike her magic bagging at EOD1, and her D1 callouts.
Light scumread there still.
Magic Bagging:Verb: The act of taking your supposed town role and using it as leverage without saying what it is.
"You don't want to kill me, I've got something really cool and awesome inside this magic bag. I can't show you what it is, but you wouldn't want to waste it!"
Generally seen as a scumtell, at least in closed setups. In open setups it might be more necessary, but is still a substitute for actual hunting and towny behavior, and is more focused on moving the lynch anywhere (like to Dom, RIP) instead of somewhere specific.

Re: [DAY 2] Courage the Cowardly Dog Mafia
It occurred to me that, upon reviewing the topic, this might be angleshooting. I've never heard that term before this game.speedchuck wrote: ↑Thu Jun 21, 2018 10:46 am SAW people in this game, and whether they knew/listened to the dataplex guy that also did a ramsey song thing
rico (Very involved in SAW for most of last year)
nut (liked dataplex)
inh (never commented on Dataplex)
marmot (never commented on Dataplex)
speed (Aint me)
golden (not in here on N1)
colin (came into SAW much after dataplex)
It's probably not nutella, or she wouldn't be pursuing this.
Could be INH or Marmot.
It basically is not the last three.
I think it's just rico.
I'm going to assume this is Rico and GTFO this line of suspicion.

Re: [NIGHT 1] Courage the Cowardly Dog Mafia
One of those musics was from the guy who did Dataplex, an album submitted to SAW (Syndicate Album of the Week).ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 11:42 pmNo dig. Find a better candidate and maybe I dig.nutella wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 11:40 pmyes. I thought from the beginning that it was rico, but I was trying to consider who else it could be since it might make sense for the player to control it, but since I narrowed it down from a combination of people's reactions and music tastes I went back to thinking it was rico. ya dig?ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 11:38 pmnutella wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 4:39 pm Meh I think you can narrow it down more than that tbh. Ramses also wouldn't say right out that he enjoyed the music as speed, me, Kyle, and vomp have. maybe vomp though lol. I originally assumed it was just Rico himself controlling the sock, but since it is a role in the game it might be the player. But why not also think of who even *would* post those pieces. Like, juliets wouldn't, right? I think it's either Rico or someone else with funky musical taste like maybe vomps.
Given that relation, and assuming many of the people in this game would not have stumbled across that somewhat obscure artist, we could narrow things down.
Two options, then:
1. Rico is controlling it, not wanting the music selection to be indicative of any certain player or role-hinting.
2. Rico doesn't care about that, and Ramses is likely someone who has been in the SAW topic.

I think DDL was talking about reactions TO the cursed people.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 5:21 pm Yeah I don’t really know how to tell. Everybody who was cursed’s reactions sound exaggerated and fake.
I don’t like nutella’s idea to try and determine which user would post those specific videos though. It feels icky.
