Re: The Search for Quin [END]

Thanks to everyone for the welcome. I'm sorry that I ghosted at the end and didn't participate as much as I would have liked before that. Had a few busy days offline and have yet to be accustomed to adding this place to my "oh yeah...i should check this" list for being a computer (hate browsing forums on phone...sorry...old here).

I look forward to another game. I like the heist size quite a lot and can't imagine trying to sort out a bigger game but we'll see.

Special thanks to MP and SD for the intro to the site and JJJ for hosting the game and being patient.

I reread this and want to emphasize that the "very bad new player" I refer to here is me.

Re: The Search for Quin [Night 4]

I gotta say, nutella, I'm leaning more towards you. MP's day 2 vote for sanmateo seems like an impossible mafia play to me but your vote for DDL feels like easy camo...seems like it was a foregone conclusion so that a different vote would be even more suspicious.

I'm currently

certain town: me
probable town: MP
neutral: everyone not mentioned
slight mafia: dom (still working out reasons for this one)
slightly more mafia: nutella

Re: The Search for Quin [Night 4]

MP,

My reads:

town: me

not sure: everyone but you

mafia: you...I think that it's possible that DDL and sanmateo BOTH voted for known mafia in the first round for obfuscation purposes. Maybe that's a known opening gambit? I see it as a mid-risk/high-reward play. I have to balance your active "town" participation as an experienced player and someone sympathetic to hosts against active malicious participation as an experienced player and investing deeply as an "active town player" to muddy the waters. I suspect you've been accused based on heavy participation before and it feels a bit hypocritical for me to be putting forward this theory but yet...

Re: The Search for Quin [Night 4]

I appreciate the vote of confidence. I feel like I'm pretty transparent although my posts have been a bit sparse. I don't get the "flavor" component of this game (or any game, I guess). If Quin is "found", is that another win condition for town?

Re: The Search for Quin [Day 3]

I have to say that doing this in a forum is really difficult for me compared to sitting around a table. I really have no idea what to look for.

I figured that being the one to focus on the new person would be good cover for a thug. Or a sign that you are an outgoing and well-adjusted person.

Epi, do you still suspect me? Ever gonna follow through and elaborate why?

I feel like the day is going in circles, and I don't like that. Votes are spread, and I don't like that. I don't have anything with me to eat, and I don't like that.

Worst of all, though, I don't really have any town reads. This never happens. I usually just bandwagon on with a townie for the wins. Uhhhh.... Leaning toward voting Epi or LC, for info and thread-clearing clarify and decent odds that one of them are scum.

This is a lie.
Here's a vote. :D
