I'm really sorry for disappearing. It was the presence of house guests that took me away from the game. Dunya, I really owe you an apology. I sent in my protection for the night you died before I read the thread. I read the thread after the deadline. I knew immediately you were the other power role when you asked about double targeting because I almost asked the exact same question. If I had read the thread before sending in my kill I would have protected you instead. I'm so very sorry. I was out to dinner with bwt and MP and I needed to send out the protection quickly in order to get it in on time.

And this is not just salt because I posted my GTH reads and got royally ignored by all the people who asked for them (though it also is). It's also my observation that the one starting the GTH exercise was MP. Is it an actual attempt at catching baddies or is it just smokescreen?

Two things, you posted a belated GTH, so by the time you got in there compilation and interpretation had already occurred. It makes your list less reliable as a GTH. Second, I started it and MP was the first to jump on board.

If MP didn't submit the kill at all, I think its possible the other two team members are/were inactive. However, for now I'll most likely be voting for Quin. I always found it a bit odd neither voted for the other when they were tied. Especially since MP did a whole ISO of Quin yet somehow redirected the lynch away from him altogether. However, the other thing that's really bothering me is why didn't MP switch his vote off of DDL? I'm a little lost on the third potential mafia member, perhaps speed or someone on the MP wagon, but I feel like with such a small mafia team they'd try to avoid voting for each other, which is why i think it is possible for one of the two inactive players to be mafia. However, I'd rather hold off on lynching them and go for Quin right now.

I doubt the highlighted very much. And I find it suspect for you to be suggesting it honestly.

As far as MP and Quin, my immediate reaction after the lynch was I could see them as teammates. I'm torn right now frankly. I can see it two ways. MP never hesitates to bus his teammates when it's needed. So the fact he was so hesitant to vote Quin is weird. It could be that he was trying to actually substantiate it somehow to make a case against Quin. Or it could have been that Quin is his teammate and he wanted to have a better case than just a self preservation vote because it would make MP look even better if Quin was lynched and flipped bad. Or because he wanted his hesitance to be read as Quin being his teammate.

In the end the 3 way tie was between DDL, MP and Wilgy. Frankly, the Day 1 action now knowing MPs alignment makes me feel more like I was wrong about DDL. I think he is civ now.

I apologize for being quieter but I have had a very rough few days that had me extremely anxious. And bwt is visiting now, Sokoth is coming in tonight, my sister is coming in Friday. My activity right now will be a little low, but I am following around and going to do my best to still be somewhat active.

Furthermore, his response to this whole situation feels like he's trying to find where the balance is to not get me riled up but to look like he's being normal about me. I'm voting MP.

One thing that I've noticed is that arguing with MP over the point of applying his methods is futile. He is strongly believer in the more info = better reads concept, which I partially agree with. So he will put pressure votes in hopes of obtaining anything no matter how meaningful or meaningless it might be. And he did obtrain an angry reaction from Daisy, so it's not like the exercise was futile (what that reaction means is another story).

No one can read my emotional state. I guarantee you that I was not at any point angry with him. I was pointing out how lazy that "pressure vote" is because it applied literally zero pressure.

His absence is due to him defending his dissertation proposal today which he did successfully btw! Now he's on the job market!

Because he lives with me. This has 0 to do with my role, or even his alignment. Why does no one find it weird that a spouse puts a pressure vote on someone knowing full well if they have had time to be in the thread or not. While normally i might agree with that on a Day 1 speed, there was a lot of other very meaty conversation going on, lynching Wilgy looks really bad.

Yes, once not on The Syndicate (American Horror Story on Hedville) and frankly we killed it even though we lost. And once on the site (Romance of the Three Kingdoms) but we were both pretty inactive due to the timing of the game and real life situations.

Speed, can you talk to me about your GTH read of LC as bad, and also of NT and Spankgangsta? My inclination with the no shows was to put them as good because I had nothing to go on and neutral reads aren't allowed, so I just said good and moved on. Why do you specifically feel LC is bad and what led you to the opposite tactic for the no shows?

linki: We used to have a poll mod that also tracked what order the votes were placed. So if you changed your vote it would change where your vote was in the order. but with the upgrade to the new site we have not been able to find a mod with that. We believe LT had coded the original one for that purpose and i just don't have that know how at the moment. Sorry to fail you guys. I am willing to bold my vote. I always announce them, just haven't been bolding them.

This is what happened, guys: I wasn't feeling very sure on either the Quin or the MP lynch. And don't even get me staretd on NT because I despise lynches on inactives.

So I saw someone mentioned they wanted Wilgy to be punished for his posting. I didn't have an opinion on him at all. But having seen CFDs work in the past, I thought "why not?" and tried to push one on him. Maybe it could reveal us something. I dunno.

It didn't work though.

Though it might have revealed something, from what I'm seeing (I'm not fully caught up)

I never said anything about rushed lynch decisions. I said you apologized to MP as if he had already been revealed civ. It read as if you no longer believe he is bad, despite your vote. I can read MP pretty well and not even I feel 100% convinced of his alignment at the moment. So your apology to him sure looked to me like you know he is civ.

The difference between me and you is that you made an apology to MP for going after him, as if you already know he is civ. We have not had a lynch flip yet. I am open to all possibilities and most of my leanings are leaning bad. You on the other hand are leaning civ. That looks really bad to me.
