Yeah porch piracy is a real threat to our exchange. I didn’t receive mine either but at this point I’m abroad so if it hasn’t been sent, it’s better not to because I wouldn’t get it until the end of May.

I haven't really heard much about most people. Did people receive their goodies?

Guys guys guys! I managed to get my gift in the mail this afternoon. The estimated delivery date is Christmas Eve! Of course we have a huge winter storm so there’s a good chance it still won’t get there until early next week. But I am so so so super excited about the gift I shipped off. I can’t wait until they get it!!!!

I am putting the final touches together on my gift tomorrow. If I’m lucky I will get it in the mail tomorrow afternoon too. However, if for some reason I can’t, it probably won’t go out until next week because the weather is supposed to be super bad on Friday here. Either way, it’s likely my goodie exchange person will receive theirs after Christmas. Just want to give a heads up so no one is feeling too left out.

Took me an extra day because I was exhausted last night, but I think I got all the information out.

Alright, so here is the way this works, for those of you who might not have participated before. I will randomize the names so each person has one other person to send goodies to. I will collect the addresses from each person, so that I can give them to the person who has their name, because who doesn't love a surprise? Let's try to keep it within $20. If you could PM me where your goodies should be sent, that would be very much appreciated!

We try to keep it to $20 or less. Shipping can get pricey so if you spend less, we get it. Honestly, it's just nice getting sweets or tasty stuff so if you are baker, bake away. If your area has a specialty sweet or something, go that direction. It's just nice getting a little something.

Don't forget to vote in the poll if you're participating so I don't miss it.

I wonder if we can set a price limit that also takes shipping into account? Pandemic + life changes = not as much extra cash lying around, but I love giving a few fun things from where we are (and what I make for a living)! I believe it has always been intended to be around $20. And I absolutely think we should try to remain within that.

There are chocolate truffle bars, bourbon infused chocolates, and a bottle of Blueberry Honey wine. She shared some of the wine with me last night and it is really good. And I don’t normally like wine! Anyway, I’ll let her say more about it, lol.

Yes Monster Cookies are a family favorite. They’ve got peanut butter, M&M’s, chocolate chips, oatmeal and butterscotch chips.

I almost forgot the hazelnut thing and sent you the Nutella stuffed ones. Remembered at the last minute and swapped them for a second pumpkin cookie box.

Elo, this was our first time making the pecan pie thumbprints. I think they taste good but don’t look as pretty as I would have liked lol.

Luna and Speed, I really hope the cookies held up through the shipping. We tried to pack them wrapped tight and safely in paper and boxes so they didn’t get destroyed.

Captain Bunny Killer and I have both sent out our packages yesterday. They’ll come after Christmas but not by much.

My sister would like to participate as well. Captain Bunny Killer. She isn't on the site too often anymore because it's just hard for her to play with her visual disability, but she would like to aka part in the exchange, if you guys don't mind. We are both staying here in Waco for Christmas, neither of us felt we could handle the holiday with the whole family this year witheverything going on in. Each our personal lives. So it would be nice to have a little something to give and receive with you all.

The other item was one of the most thoughtful and unexpected gifts of all this year. Glorf has played in our Syndicate sim, The Tempest. Since he joined we have gotten to become very good friends, so he knows my love of The Next Generation. And I know he has a pretty intense dislike of Picard so the fact that he got me this lovely crystal collectible is doubly meaningful. It was a touching gift from a very thoughtful person. I was floored when I opened it. Thank you so much Glorf!

P.S. I was intrigued by the fact Australians spell chili with two L's!

Ok so the chamoy and the tajin seasoning I sent so you could make yourself mangonadas. I couldn't just send you a mangonada because they are a blended iced drink. Here is a link to the recipe. If you so desire you can make it boozy with some tequila.

The michelada mix goes in a beer, for authenticity you could try to use it in a Mexican beer, but I don't think it's required. Not sure if you all are beer drinkers, but if not feel free to pass it along to someone who is. I'm not so I've never had one myself but micheladas are huge here in San Antonio. And I love mangonadas, something I had never had before I moved here, but again a big thing here. Nearly every Mexican joint or even shaved ice places will serve mangonadas.

Well MP's goodie package is showing through tracking that it has been delivered to the front door. I hope to hear soon that his recipient has it or else I'm going to worry it got stolen. Anxious!

Yeah the two packages we sent are worrying me. The last thing the one says is that it departed San Antonio distribution center on12/19 and the other one says it is in the TN distribution center, but it isn't supposed to be going to TN... hope they get their shit together!

Alex told me by text while I was at work that a package came with my name on it from Australia and I knew immediately it was you, I was so excited!
