As a supertown, I demand that you talk about my Tranq vote.
I like it as far as where your mind’s at hunt-wise, but being unfamiliar with Tranq I’m reluctant to support it.
I never cared about lynching Tranq and my vote was just a thing to get people talking. Colin offered tentative support but backed away from saying anything meaningful about it. This post is indifference disguised as activity.

Sloonei wrote: Sat Dec 08, 2018 4:11 pm Hey Colllllllin, aren't you gonna acknowledge my vote, Collllllin?
Nope
And then this. There's one argument to be made that Colin is too cool to care about petty Day 1 votes against him because he knows (assumes) that I'm not being serious and just want to get him to squirm (if that's the case, what's with his response to my Tranq vote?). There's a counterargument that Colin is trying to feign this nonchalant attitude by downplaying the fact that he's got a vote against him.

These two posts do not register as the consistent mindset of a civilian to me. The first suggests an attitude of partial investment in the hunt, but with a slight aftertaste of waffles and indecision. The second suggests a calculated indifference to the hunt.
Well that’s just like, your opinion, man.

There is a world where my indifference and nonchalance are not calculated. Is it the world we live in?

I have a genuine Day 1 suspicion of Colin, but am I little anxious about the ease with which his case gained momentum. His post about bandwagonining DDL is patented shady-nasty business, but I don't know how to feel about the seemingly exaggerated scrutiny it's received. Then again, there's also the fact that we have two scum teams. It's entirely possible for scum to pile on an easy bandwagon that ends up being correct. I'd like for Colin to say things. I'll lay out my own gripes against them so he has more variety to respond to. I was voting for Colin before it was cool, after all.
Voting for me is NEVER cool.

I’m a little offended that you all think I would do such bush league stuff as a mafioso. :disappoint:

I don't like when people try to make big deals out of anyone's day 1 vote, because frankly, to me they ALL are weak votes. Why call one specific one out?
because if you want someone lynched you need to make a case on them. that is how mafia works.

I enjoyed this assessment and at this point in time would have voted in agreement.

DharmaHelper wrote: Sat Dec 08, 2018 2:40 pm Anyway I've ranked the people who have currently voted from most to least suspicious as of me typing this post without being linkied into any other votes:

Cbob - "His posting" is a funny but ultimately hollow and wormy way to explain the Colin vote
Colin - "No U" vote was cheeky but still bad.
Chuck - Did not give a reason for his DDL vote which IIRC came close to if not directly after Epi said he'd be voting DDL. Chuck pulling up to the train station early AF to save himself a seat.
Sloonei - Voting for anyone based on other people's reasons for suspecting people is suspicious to me. Make your own points. Stand on your own ground.
TH - Early vote for Sorsha for a hollow, funny reason. Doesn't look serious. Sorsha's not done anything overtly suspicious. Could be buddying/distancing but not worth losing my shit over instantly.
Epi - His DDL vote makes sense, he gave a good reason and was consistent.
I read this the first time but it's not exactly meaty by your standards. Why requote it?
I believe he added me, possibly others.

Epi, you still feeling DDL?

SVS could be obliquely defending sabie or poking Sloonei. Not a big fan of sabie's response.

Jackofhearts2005 want to trust team? Coming back to a 30 player fancy game is intimidating and I need to find a handhold somewhere.
Update: I no longer want to trust team you.

Looks like a lot of people busy this weekend... including me (as I will be away most of today).

So how does movement work? I trtied to find something in the rules saying how many squares we can normally move but I didn't.

I'm assuming it's too squares per night since some roles say allowed to move 3.
Are there roles that say that?

Default movement range is three squares. Some roles, such as Lycantha, have a different movement range, and it is generally noted in the role.

This means that an average player on, say, B6, has the option to move to A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B9, C4, C5, C6, C7, C8, D5, D6, D7, or E6.

Players will start with a movement. Please PM your movement by the end of Night 0 so you can begin Day 1 on a new square.

Also, today is very busy for us, so I will not be back here to post, except very briefly, until later tonight. Night 0 is going to be flexibly timed as we ease into this complicated game.
I know I’d be able to figure this out by looking at this post and the map but can you tell me if we can move diagonally? And do you have to go the full range or can you go less?
