Daisy did place a suspicious D1 vote, but she explained her situation and thought process there. I still want to look closer at her posts because I don't know that I'm fully convinced. Jay pointed out this post of hers that looked weird:

This post makes me say "yikes" every time I pass over it.

I sort of agree that this post looks fishy, but it was made 2 minutes before EOD. And she said that she checked the game to vote with 6 minutes left. So it does all add up. I just want to look closer because a train is forming and I don't want to miss what's going on.

Owner of a lonely heart seems to be trying really hard to solve the game based on vote analysis. That does look good, but she also is so eager to jump on someone based on something they did that looks bad, or like in my case, try to make out everything I did leading up to EOD look like scum-motives. Right now, her Spacedaisy vote looks like it is more based on Jay's opinions of Spacedaisy instead of her own:

Ah yes, allow me to explain.

You see, there was a time, way back in years where dinosaurs roamed the Earth and Mafia players complained about rainbow lists, when it was unusual for players to broadcast their civilian reads loudly in a game thread. It was understandable too, because in those days it was typical for only living players to be allowed to win a game (sometimes that rule only applied to civilians!). With that in mind, players were less eager to vouch for one another, as it would be perceived as "painting a target" for the mafia team(s) to shoot at, thus robbing those players of their chance to win the game.

Now though we find ourselves in another era, an era of great change and revolution. Now it is typical for all members of a winning faction to be granted a victory, whether dead or alive. As such, there is no need for concern about who gets shot! So we can shout to the sky: This player looks like a civilian to me! Do you hear me, sky?! A civilian I tell you! Oh, but what is the benefit?

I am sure you know the term "process of elimination" from various walks of life. Consider its application to Mafia. What I like to do most (and many others as well these days), is to try to find the civilians in the crowd instead of finding the mafia (or at least to focus on the civilians more). I believe they are easier to identify than the mafia are, so it makes perfect sense. Guess what happens if you identify enough of them?

Nobody is left except the baddies. You don't even have to "suspect" them, or to know why they've gone wrong; you could read their posts and just shrug. But if everyone else is a civilian and they're just shrugs, they must be bad. Ya got me? Do ya got me?

Mongoose's tone is overall timid, questioning, and her posts don't hold a lot of content. It doesn't look like a strong town play to me. Which is why she's on my watch list.
A lot of that could be in the eye of the beholder. I chuckled at timid though. I’ve been trying to clock my Aries aggression this game.

I don’t remember if No U is what I think it is, but it was a vote to save myself, and some of the accusations against me were dilute at best. Explanation Salad? Is that the best you got? Even on Day 1?

I might understand throwing out reads like you did on day 0 to get people talking. But you actually stuck with them into day 1. You say you suspect Indiglo and myself, then later on day 1, you still suspect us but "feel bad" lynching either of us. Day 1 is a time to build a case on those suspects if you were serious about them, or drop them if you weren't. Instead you're trying to look like you're staying "consistent," but you still just have no real reason for the suspicions.

The thing I like least about what has happened so far is Rey's reason for voting nutella (because she didn't say NO U when he thought she should have) so I'm intrigued by your comment that you don't agree with all of his opinions but you are town reading him on tone. What is it about his tone that reads town in your opinion ?

I see rey's posts as a raw, honest stream of thought. His posts are short and no-nonsense, and appear genuine. He throws out crazy reads (that I don't agree with), but I don't think it means he's scum.
But I could be wrong.

In my case, it means I like the way he explained his thought process. I don’t have to agree with his or anyone’s conclusions, but it is nice to see how they arrived at those conclusions.
